I just watched the unaired pilot of the Global Frequency television series... that wasn't picked up by the WB.
The question that I kept asking myself as I watched this show was...
"How is this series not on TV right now?"
Global Frequency, an adaption of the comic with the same name, was incredible. From the very beginning with a mysterious murder to the last scene.. it's non-stop not gonna let you go. Sean is an ex-cop minding his own business, when his life decides to take a left turn instead of a right. With help from Katrina and the Global Frequency network, he must stop a human bomb from exploding in the heart of San Francisco.
The direction of this episode down to the special effects of coins rolling across a bar is very well done, with camera angles setting the mood early. The script is easy to follow, smart-sounding, and technical enough to make it a Hollywood movie. The government agencies and happenings that went on with experimentation are very thought-provoking... with a world dominated by abilities beyond the human mind.
If you liked the movie Se7en or Matrix, then Global Frequency is something worth checking out. Too bad, the episode was unaired... but you can find it online.

The WB television network passed on the pilot for Global Frequency, a sci-fi adventure series based on the graphic novel by English scribe Warren Ellis.
But that didn't stop someone from leaking the pilot on the internet. The file eventually found its way into the BitTorrent network.
Over the last couple of weeks, enough people have downloaded and viewed the pilot online to give producers hope that TV executives might take a second look at the show.
I would place a link where to find the episode, but I don't think the Hype allows it... so I'll leave at this.
If you get the chance, check out Global Frequency, cause it rocks!
