I've used airsoft... it's only the looks... but with paintball you got technique, you got reflex... you run like hell and if you get marked, you get marked, because is a freaking paint stain, unlike airsoft it's a little plastic pellet...:rolleyes:

Thankfully no but I've heard about that from a few people who have. Not nice at all. Leg shots are pretty bad. Worst I've had is a virtually point-blank range shot to the back (right no my spine infact). That sucker was still stinging 6 hours later!
Although a head shot takes some beating pain wise though. :eek:

I played paintball for about a year and loved every second of it.

Ultimately, though, it got too expensive. I already had enough pricey hobbies, and couldn't give up comics, videogames, and DVD's. So I sold my equipment to my best friends little brother who'd never tried it before.

Now he's totally obsessed with it. ALL his money goes into this stuff. It's crazy. I suspect he even sleeps with his marker under his pillow.:D

My biggest fears in paintball is getting shot in the throat or in the balls. It would hurt like hell either way. I have been hit in the back of the head before... multiple times at once, that sucked but not nearly as much as it would getting shot in the balls or throat. I cannot imagine getting shot in the throat and not being able to breath... argh, that would be horrible.
