Marvel: Best-2-Worst

Okay, I know this has been done a million times...I liked and enjoyed all the films but what it really comes down to...is...the characters I like more than some of the others.

1. X2: X-Men United (my all time favorite comic = my all time favorite movie, hopefully X3 will be here...plus this one had Lady Deathstrike...one of my all time favorite characters...) http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/xmenx.gif
2. X-Men: The Last Stand (decent movie...wish Angel was in it a little more and joined the team...maybe for X4...Magneto and the Professor were great...and Beast was cool, Grammar did a good job.)
3. Fantastic Four (not as bad as the reviews said, well in my opinion...it did seem to be more of a family film...the Human Torch and The Thing were great, the real stars of the film...Dr. Doom...well...wasn't the Dr. Doom from the comics...) http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/ff.gif

6. Spider-Man (^^^, and still pretty cheesy, the Green Goblin costume was terrible...but the Green Goblin is my second favorite Spider-Man villain so...here we go...)

Daredevil (Directors Cut) (this should be more of a tie with Spider-Man...darker than Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four...good fight and action scenes...although...I didn't really care for the playground fight...Kingpin is another one of my favorite Marvel villains...) http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/daredevil1.gif
8. Blade II (Nomak and the Reapers...nuff' said...the best villains of the Blade series...even though this movie suffered from cgi overload...especially in the fight scenes...it was still good...I liked it better than the first...)

10. Blade (the first Marvel film in years...this one is low on my list not because its a bad film...just not a big fan of the Blade character...I do love Blade II though...)
11. Man-Thing (one of my new favorite characters...Man-Thing looked great...the acting from the supporting cast sorta made the film seem a little silly and laughable...Man-Thing did have some cool killing scenes though...)
12. Elektra (too much story...not enough action...it did have its moments...too bad it didn't have that many...I liked the villains more than Elektra...)
13. Hulk (again too much story...not enough action, especially for a character like the Hulk...although the tank and helicopter fights were pretty good...this one also suffered from a terrible villain and ending...) http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/hulkhead.gif

I've got a pretty controversial listing, but hear me out. These are rated on re-watchability. 1. I love the Daredevil (Director's Cut). I liked the original well enough, but the extra story just pushes it even further. 2. I never saw the Punisher in theaters, then bought it on DVD on a whim. I'd like it almost as much as Daredevil, except the sequencing needed a little work. 3. Hulk was a unique movie, to say the least. It was ambitious, and even though it didn't work for some, it worked for me. 4-5. The X-Men and Spider-Man sequels are both great, better than the originals, but they're obviously not finished, and I hate that feeling that there's another movie coming out. 6-7. The first two Blade's are pretty much everything I could ask for in a vampire movie. Good effects, good story, great acting, amazing fight scenes, and great music. 8-9. The original X-Men and Spider-Man movies are great, but they suffer from the same thing they're sequels do, only to a greater degree. 10-11. I'd give Elektra another watch, and consider watching Blade: Trinity again, if I got to see the unrated edition.

12. Under no circumstances will I spend money on the Fantastic Four ever again. It was bad.

This order looks pretty good to me....though I would probably actually rate FF the highest. IMO, it's the most entertaining, and has far and away the best character development.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of many Marvel films; I think most have been busts. But FF impressed me--it was funny, dramatic, touching, and just entertaining. Well the one's that I've seen or atleast remember (some are just way too old)

1. Daredevil

- not the best. But my personal favorite. I found everything I wanted to see in this film ... this is counting the Director's Cut. I skipped it in theaters but found it on dvd.

2. Fantastic Four

- just a fun entertaining film. I love this one for the fun of it.

3. Spider-man 2

- great film.

4. Elektra

- I enjoyed this movie from start to finish. Yes we all know it could have been better but I really enjoyed it for what it was.

5. The Punisher

- awesome. Great prequel set up in my eyes. Should have been rated-R.

6. SpiderMan

- great film. The only reason its this low ... I have a thing for Punisher, Fantastic Four, & Elektra but I know this film is superior.

The rest are just blanks for me ...

7. HULK - what a mess! But I still enjoyed 10% of it and would watch a sequel.

8. X-Men 2 - I only saw this because I was babysitting for my bro. However it wasn't bad at all. Far better than the first. I'll probably watch X-Men 3 because of this.

9. X-men - I was dissapointed all around, enough for me to not bother with #2. It wasn't a bad movie and I see where this movie was going. It just wasn't the X-Men movie I wanted to see.

I never really saw the Blade films and probably never will (except for 30 last minutes of Blade:Trinity which was decent good stuff.) I need to get around to watch Man-Thing, I think I saw Howard The Duck. If I did, then I use to love that movie when I was a kid. Never saw the old versions of F4, Capt. A, or Punisher.

I tried to choose my ranking based on what I felt was the better movie....that encompasses a whole lot of things.

X2: My favourite film of all time. The action, the acting, the script was perfect imo (10/10) This film coverted me into a x-fan.

X1: not as good as the sequel but has some strong moments(9/10)

Daredevil: The first time I saw it I was like meh. But I watched it again because I was bored out of my skull and I really enjoyed it. (7/10)

Elektra: same review as above, (7/10)

Sm2: Imo the film was just mediocre. The acting was below average and the whole thing felt childish. The story was the exact same as the first one. (6/10)

Sm1: Solid foundation for the francise(5.5/10)

Punisher: Maybe with a better budget and casting this film could of rocked. (5/10)

The Blade Triology: A lame concept to begin with, no depth at all. (3/10)

Hulk: Worst piece of trash ever. Disappointing considering that I have so much respect for the comics. (1/10)

Spider-Man 2 - the train scene with people carrying spidey made tears come to my eyes; Sam Raimi definitely has done it right.

X2: X-Men United - a fiercer wolverine...more please! oh, please replace catwoman with another actress...i'm tired of her whining about not having enough screen time...there are tons of other black actresses waiting to get their chance.

Spider-Man - a great first movie masterfully handled by Sam Raimi; i love the scene on the bridge where people started throwing stuff at the green globlin to help spidey out.

X-Men - the snow scene and bar scene with wolverine are what made this movie for me; i still watch those two scenes over and over again (although i wish the scenes were longer).

Daredevil - to see daredevil as a movie was enough for me; this is one of my favorite character; bring on more daredevil movies!

The Punisher - this is like the original to what batman begins is to batman & robin -- a reboot of the frank castle from that horrible Dolph Lundgren 1989 flick!

Hulk - 40 mins of banner at the beginning sucked; hulk should've had more screen time; more hulk please, less banner for the next outing!

Blade: Trinity - I like the new additions; the ending just ruined the movie for me.

Blade - okay overall; nice start

Blade II - excellent action; bad CG fight scene (so bad that you pick the pre-rendered CG blade from a fight scene).

Fantastic Four - not a bad movie; i'm just not much of a fan of the characters.

Elecktra - movie yuck...Jennifer Garner good!

Man-Thing - why did they even bother? one of the most horrid film created next to punisher 1989...

Daredevil: Director's Cut (excellent,I really enjoyed the original version,but this one has a better story to it)
The Punisher (great action sequences,even though the story was set in Florida and Puerto Rico cause of the budget being low and not New York
as in the comic,I still love the movie)
Fantastic Four (very entertaining,Jessica Alba is so gorgeous and she looks great in her costume)
Spider Man 2 (better than the 1st movie which is still a winner,Doc Ock is such a cool villain)
Spider Man (everything about Spider Man was done properly,all the actors/actresses were amazing and Kirsten Dunst is hot)
Elektra (story was'nt bad, Jenniffer Garner is sexy)
Blade Trinity (a little different to the other 2 movies,but still some great action,humour and drama and Jessica Biel is pretty too)
Blade 2 (Great,liked the way it linked to the 1st movie,i.e: the flashbacks at the beginning and Whistler being captured)

hmmm, lemme think for just a second... i'll just do a quick top ten.

1: x2 (improved on the original in so many ways and has one of my favorite opening action sequences ever)
2: spider-man 2 (the numerous fights between spidey and ock are amazing and the story captures the essence of parker/spidey)
3: the punisher (my favorite marvel character got a good treatment but a low budget... the sequel should be awesome with the backstory out of the way and a whole lot of violence planned)
4: blade (i remember bugging out when i saw blade throw that umm blade thing through that circular room and it just cut the **** outta everybody)
5: daredevil (it could have been better, but i think it was good nevertheless... i felt kingpin wasn't a big enough part of the story, there was too much elektra and as awesome as bullseye was, i don't really feel the costume too much)
6: the hulk (good enough for an origin movie but it took way too long to finally see the hulk, but still a good movie)
7: x-men (so good i almost pissed myself when i first saw this)
8: spider-man (green goblin = ratings)
9: blade 2 (too much cg as so many people have said but still a lot of fun to watch)
10: fantastic four (i wanted to like it so bad, but there was NO action in this movie except for the bridge sequence and the doom/FF fight at the end)

[Bullseye]

1) Spider-Man 2 - 8.6/10 A dramatic and emotional film. Special Effects were better this time around and will be better in the third film. Doc Ock is one of my favorite Spidey villains. Although in the comics Spidey seemed like he was loosing in every battle against Doc Ock.

2) Spider-Man - 8.2/10 Willem Dafoe's performance as Green Goblin was perfect. And no one get's under Peter Parker's skin like Norman... Green Goblin a top villain in comics.

3) Blade - 7.4/10 Very good movie. A great interpretation of the comic book.

4) Daredevil - 6.8/10 Ben Affleck portayed Matt Murdock well. His Daredevil performance was not as good. I really don't know who could be cast as Daredevil.

5) X-MEN - 6.7/10 For one thing I think there were too many mutants in the film. I think it should've been about the original team. Good story, action and special effects. Rebecca Romijn was perfect as Mystique.

6) X2 - 6.6/10 Too many mutants again. I loved the fight scene between Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike.

7) The Punisher - 6.3/10 A brutal and harsh movie... as are The Punisher comics. Some flaws if compared with the Punisher comics.

8) HULK - 5.7/10 Great special effects.

Okay, I know this has been done a million times...I liked and enjoyed all the films but what it really comes down to...is...the characters I like more than some of the others.

I own both Spideys, both X-Men and Daredevil. The Fantastic Four will be coming in at Christmas. I enjoyed it int the theater so I can't wait to see it again. I don't even watch Hulk when it comes on TV. I'll watch the Transformers movie before Hulk, but that's not fair because I'd watch it over lots of movies. :venom:

Ok I re-watch some of the movies and want to change my list.

1. X-men 2: Still my favourite movie. The cast, the action, the emotion are all top-notch. 9.5/10
2.The Punisher: I just watched this for the second time last night and I have to admit I was completely wrong about it. Great movie. 8.4/10
3. Daredevil: Nice work by Ben and Jen. Solid acting. Good direction. Actually story was just average. However good film. 7.5/10
4. Electra: all it needed was a darker and grittier story. But what we got was fairly decent. 7/10
5. X-men 1: Having watched it again I was kinda surprised that a sequel was made. Not as good as I remember. Imo some bits had the Batman and robin feel. 6.5/10
6. Spider-man 1: Over-rated but still an average movie. Cast were ok the storyline was ok. the effect ok. Overall ok!!6/10
7. Blade trilogy: I wouldn't watch them unless I had to. NO.2 is probably the best. overall 5/10
8. Spider-man 2: Gasp...I had the exact same plot as the first one, the characters didn't seem to grow, childish factor bugs me. Big disappointment. 4/10
9. Hulk:....................no comment 1/10

In your opinion, of course... Hulk vs. X2... X2 easily. I love the Hulk, but the movie was OVER-done, visually, and the story was just not articulated well at all. I was highly disappointed when I left, and so were the other 10 people I went with.

2. X-Men (decided to bump this one up a little...I just thought everything about it was perfect...)
3. X-Men: The Last Stand (okay movie...better than I thought it would be...)
4. Fantastic Four (Fantastic Four, Elektra, Daredevil, and Spider-Man 1 & 2 are more of a tie on the list...The Thing and the Human Torch are still the best characters in the film...)
5. Elektra (I don't know...upon viewing it recently...I actually enjoyed it more than the first time...)
6. Daredevil (actually...numbers 4-7 are more of a tie on the list...)
