I have no idea what those 30 million girls and women do everyday. On the other hand, I've been to France a couple of times and I can't say the overabundance of armpit hair was very apparant to me. I've slept with one French girl and she shaved her armpits. Maybe I should have asked her about similar behaviour amongst her compatriots. :o

I have noticed various European individuals from different countries that did not wear deodorant. I don't want to generalize, and I won't, but my personal experience has seen where this is slightly more than a common occurence.

I asked one of my best friends (who looks like Halle Berry) and she's black; she said that a lot of black women don't shave their legs. She doesn't understand why, but says it does occur. My friend shaves her legs.

Depends what part of France you're in. And even then, it depends on who you meet. I personally shave everything but the hair on my head. But I had one or two friends that did the "Au natural" look. But even then they would shave their legs. It's just a generalization like saying all American's are sluggish pigs incapable of a non violent thought. I wouldn't worry about finding a French woman that doesn't shave her pits and such. Unless she lives in really small rural towns. That's where you normally find them.

However, in the last 10 years, shaving pits has become more popular, but the women that do are in the minority. You must understand they do take care of their armpit hair, its not just a lump of hair like us dudes have.
