Plot Summary:
Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts, but this ability doesn't change his life nearly as much as his close encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper and member of the mysterious Soul Society. While fighting a Hollow, an evil spirit that preys on humans who display psychic energy, Rukia attempts to lend Ichigo some of her powers so that he can save his family; but much to her surprise, Ichigo absorbs every last drop of her energy. Now a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits and, along with Rukia--who is slowly regaining her powers--it's Ichigo's job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace.
Kurosaki Ichigo is not a regular 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see spirits and ghosts. One day, a female Shinigami (God of Death) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him, hunting for an evil spirit. But during the confrontation, the Shinigami's powers are transfered to Ichigo. Thus begins the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia and their mission to herd Hollows (fallen spirits).

Apparently, it's supposed to pick up eventually. One Piece took 30 episodes before it started to get really good.

yesss my fav anime

haha it was funny to see strider say this show is dull by episode 11

then now hes at episode 34 and hes loving it

dudes this show picks up like crazy starting in episode 16
the first few episodes are gonna be weak becasue its the transformation of ichigo into a shinigami and it has tons of hollows which sucks, but the arc which it is on now is freakin the best anime ive seen

i know if kenpachi doesnt even know his 2nd level.. his shikai is unknown and he doesnt even have a bankai.. if he did i think he would be able to beat yama- jii the general shinigami

after hearing so much about this series from countless message boards, i d/led the first 2 episodes ...

it's pretty good ...

in short ... it's Sixth Sense with a sword

a 15 yr. old boy slaying the soul eating demons while trying to help the human souls cross over to heaven, in this case the Soul Society ...

i should get thru the entire first 25 episodes by the end of next week ...

No. I know, I know. I should. And I will. I just started watching the new Guyver because I just found subs. All I ever found before were RAW's.

Are there any other sub groups for One Piece? Kaizoku Fansubs are taking longer and longer to put out episodes, and I desperately want to see the Usopp and Luffy fight.

The subs for the new Guyver on torrentspy are only up to episode three. From what I read, he actually held his own extremely well, which is why I want to see the fight. Have you watched any of the Geru Sama subs?

I've been watching Monster. (The title is monster, how could I not take a peek.) But sadly it's taken me ages just to get to episode 4. With such a low seeder rate on the Anime-Keep list, other things took priority.

Seems interesting though.

the one thing that separates this anime from so many is how the characters don't wear the same clothes, other than the school uniforms, in every episode . name another anime that does that . :confused:

That's pretty stupid how the anime pretty faithfully presents the manga storyline and the story is far from over after Soul Society.

wikipedia i dont think is a reiable source, but you know great animes tend to end early look at FMA

FMA is different as about halfway through they had to totally diverge from the manga which is still yet to finish. FMA still got 51 episodes and a movie, more than the typical anime series.

Well I can't comment on the US version of Naruto because I haven't seen it. But Bleach certainly has more blood than Naruto. I can see most of the fights being butchered if it went stateside

I was doing that catching up with Naruto. You're going to hate it when you are up to date, a week (or two with Lunar) for one episode seems like a long time when your used to having 7-8 in the same night.

What does this mean?

An American company bought the rights to the anime thus making it illegal for subbing groups to give out subbed copies of said anime.

What happens?

Many good fan subbing groups that work legally will drop the anime.

Example, once Naruto was licensed ANBU dropped subbing it.

Some groups will continue subbing.

Example, Dattebayo.

It is still illegal. The only question is how willing your country would be to enforce outsider policy. Some countries work with American countries quite nicely. Other, Russia for example, don't put too much effort into the process.

It's still taking someone elses properties but getting in trouble is much lower... Usually...

The whole Ichigo/Byukuya fight is awesome. IMO its the hight of the series so far. Then/Now we are into filler and it sucks. We wont see such great moments for a while I fear.

Bleach 83 ...

Boring, nothing but flashbacks to the big bounto guy's life. But the ending made up for it. Vice-Captain to the 3rd division showed up right before Ichigo & the bounto resumed their battle. I'm guessing he won't be the only and that this is the start of bringing the vice-captains (involved in the current situation in the manga) over to the living world. :up: ... hopefully

That's awesome! I'm not a huge fan of Kira though. But, wouldn't this kinda clash with the manga story line? It just makes it harder to reintroduce those that are supposed to show up. I'm pretty sure canon episodes are going to resume after this arc. THey've alredy broguht Rukia back. I'm kinda confused though about Kira. He didn't come with the other's in the manga, right? That I know of, the only one's (in a canon-sense) that are going to come to Earth are Hitsugaya, Matsumoto, Yumichika (love), Ikkaku( double love), Renji, and that's it, right? I'll have to go back and read...

Back in episode 81, Hitsugaya told Matsumoto, Yumichika, Kira & Shuuhei that they would be heading to the real world. Kira & Shuuhei aren't in the Canon arc but this can easily be dealt with when the anime catches up. I'm thinking when the bounto arc ends, it'll appear that these 4, along with Renji, are heading back to SS. The next day in class the teacher annouces the arrival of new transfer students. And to everyone's shock it's Matsumoto, Yumichika, Hitsugaya, Ikkaku, & Renji. See not too big of a problem, just hold off the part where they enroll as students til the Canon arc. Kinda like how Renji still hasn't. That's just one of the possibilities they can go with when the time comes to get everything back in order. Oh yah, they gotta kill off the 3 dolls as well. They aren't in manga at all. Just Kon.

Manga Chapter 230 ...

This was good chapter to read. It seems Rukia took Inoue back to SS for some serious training. The training was held behind the 13th Division's HQ. Meanwhile back in the living world. The Arrancars return. 3 of them have a face-off with Hitsugaya & the others. Well, it's actually 2 of them that have a face off. The third is too busy checking out the birds flying nearby him :o . Ichigo senses Jaws' and leaves the training with the Vizards to confront him . Chapter ends with Ichigo saying it's time show you my new power :eek: Time to bust out the hollow within ... just hope it's lasts more than 10 seconds :o

Can't wait for the 231 :cool:

Bleach 84-85 ...

I thought it was alright. Inoue was annoying the hell outta me. And they sure are taking their sweet @$$ time in introducing the vice captains that came over. It was an hour long special but they only got to Kira & Shuuhei. Kira got about the first half hour while Shuuhei got about the last 10-15 minutes. Would've been dope to have seen Shuuhei & Ichinose go at it. But oh well. As for the preview to next the episode. It's all Matsumoto helping out Chad. Lucky Chad :o

Chapter 231 ...

The fights begun and Yumichika is getting his ass kicked. I thought it was gonna be a 2 on 1 fight with both Ikkaku & Yumichika against the chick arrancar. But yah, I forgot about how their from the 11th Division. They believe that every man should fight his own battle til death, with no help what so ever :cool: And Ichigo pulled out the hollow on Jaw :eek: But it won't last long into the next chapter since he can only hold it for 11 seconds flat. Oh yah that Arranncar who took interest in birds might still be watching the birds cuz I didn't see him anywhere :confused:

And just like the latest Naruto manga. The best moment came at the end.

Renji & Chad, even though tired & exhuasted, try to join the battle. Urahara tells them both to stay & rest up ...... and .....................

episode 86 ...

I loved Matsumoto in this episode. A lot of funny moments went down because of her. She made NOVA blush when she was thanking him for saving her :p. Her Shikai was interesting. It's similiar to Byakuya, but instead of it shattering into flower peddles. It shatters into cat ashes, according to the sub that's what it was. Oh and ya' boy Yumichika. Apparently he went off looking for Kira & Shuunei, so he isn't in this episode. Overall, this episode was good. For some reason the animation, especially those of the fight scenes, in this looked so different from previous episodes. I dunno, it might just be me.

Seems like a short chapter. Mainly becuz there wasn't much to read in it.

Well the chick Arrancar, who challenged all 4 captain & vice-captains, took out her first victim. And it was fairly easy for her. Her shikai defeated Hitsugaya's bankai. Which wasn't surprising to me, I mean all it does is give him Ice Wings :o Then there's Ichigo's bout with Jaw. It was cool that he was kicking his ass with the hollow entity. Then the mask shatter and Ichigo is left stunned. And that's basically it.

Bleach 87 ...

The fight between Chad's group and the bounto went as excepted. The bounto runs off like a little *****.

But that wasn't the highlight of the episode.

So we're taken back to SS. Where we see Ikkaku doing guard duty with other members of the 11th. Then out of nowhere a red pinkish light comes down near the group, causing a small expolsion. A figure leaps out and Ikkaku gives chase while the others go alert the captains. There's no major fight but somewhat of a small stand off between Ikkaku & the mystery intruder. The intruder leaves Ikkaku with a scratch on the face & disappears. Ikkaku reports back to Captain Zaraki that he lost the intruder. Zaraki says it doesn't matter because the person was a weakling for hidng his aura.

Meanwhile ... elsewhere in SS.

Captain Kuchiki recieves a message that comes directly from the commander general. Wonder what it could be.

And no ... that still isn't the highlight of the episode ..... :p

Back in the real world ...

We see Ishida back at his training ground, you know the one in the woods. He's having one of those flashback moments. Then wha-la ... he does this ...

He doesn't do much after that. The bow & arrow dissolve then he falls in dispair. Now ... anyone who reads the manga knows this **** isn't even suppose to happen. Hell, in the manga he's still training with his dad & he still hasn't been able to form a bow & arrow. Someone's got a lot of explaining to do :o

overall ... good episode :up:

Now if only the creators of Naruto did the same thing with their fillers :( :down
