Josh Strong's Nightwing:endgame Has Begun!!!!

Ok so Saturday night we had our 1st official photoshoot. Nightwing (me) and Robin (Wayne prisco…my girlfriends bro) were the subjects…this weekend’s shoot will consist of Nightwing, Robin and adding Deathstroke (Mat Bruno) and Blockbuster (Charlie Stellwagen) Cisco Blane (Paul Lyle) and Oracle (my girlfriend Tricia prisco) We have shot some of the trailer...and we are also shooting the rest of it Friday night...it will be on the net sometime in mid august for all of your viewing pleasure...I have had a lot of fun getting this going...its taken forever...but now that i have a great director and the right crew and actors we are ready to roll....please post comments and suggestions.

Thanks. i had different parts of the costumes made by different people...i tried tha black mask...didnt like it. Not to mention i look more like the way Jim Lee draws Nightwing...and Lee's NW is Blue masked...:)

This weekend got a little messed up due to people being sick and my girlfriends sister having her baby...however, I did edit some of the footage for the trailer that we shot...also, i did have the actor whose playing Blockbuster take some pics of himself. He's 6'3 and about 230 lbs. He's a huge dude...he's perfect for the role, physically and personality wise. He will be dying his hair either black or blonde for the movie...were going for of a modern look...were not sure about head prosthetics yet, it would be kind of hard to do, besides in Hollywood, they would most likely make him just a really big mobster. Heres a couple pics of him so far...feel free to leave, comments, suggestions...

Glad you guys all like the look. At this point it may be a week or so, the directors grandfather passed away, and i dont wanna rush him too much...i want to be respectful and understanding of his situation and loss...however i may have some pics taken soon. Im waiting on a new tactical/swat type vest for Slades suit...as most of u know his suit would look corny on film so i redesigned him a bit, more like a modern day assassin. His base suit will consist of Black longsleeve shirt, the tactical vest, black or army camoflauge pants, black military combat boots, leather gloves and of course the mask. The mask will be orange on one side and black on the other...the eye will be ALL black...very cool looking. The mask is made of 4 way stretch lycra, the person can see perfectly fine. Expect a much cooler look. The actor who is playing Slade is a 32 year old male...he is 5’10” and weighs 195 lbs.He is really built, cut n toned type guy. So he may not be as tall as me but he is much bigger and will be menacing...not to mention the boots should give him some extra height.

They make AWESOME masks...they made my new Robin mask...pics of that will be up soon by the way…they make custom masks but they charge more for that. Good luck with it…id love to see it when its done…by the way Nightwing’s mask is Blue in most comics…but is also drawn black as well.

Sorry for the no updates lately people...i have been in the studio recording my cd, and acting in two other movies...however we had our 1st two official nights of filming...thats right we are FILMING...the teaser trailer will be up within the next couple weeks or so. I have just been insanely busy with work, and college comin back up and everything else...

Personal Gripe--Nightwing mask is a bit small for my taste.

As for the teaser, I'd leave it as just text, with a few images here and there. Avoid using voiceovers/dialogue if you can [save that for the trailer]. Maybe flash some works, a couple of images and two or three uber breif action shots.

Sorry I have not updated you guys in forever…we did start filming, and we have a lot to go still, but so far its coming along nicely…all my actors are nailing their parts, the chemistry between Nightwing and Oracle is working beautifully…its nice and easy as my girlfriend, Trish is playing O…her hair is not a bright red, but its short like o’s, has a reddish tint, she wears the glasses and is even in a wheelchair…I think you guys will all be impressed with all our characters, I don’t have any pics for you yet…sorry. Money has been a little tight at the moment, we will get them developed and I will post them soon, I would guess you guys can expect a teaser trailer before the month is over, and a trailer in October and the movie SHOULD be done and edited, ready for your viewing by January…maybe even earlier if we keep at a good pace…more to come soon people. I want to say thanks to all the people who have helped, lent any advice or anything to my film…and to my constant believers that never gave up on me…thanks :up: :up:

ok so as u know filming has begun, its been a while since any updates...i should have some new pics and a 1-2 minute teaser trailer up soon...but UNFORTUNATELY filming will be delayed for two weeks or so...i was doing a fight scene over the weekend and sprained my ankle and i am currently on crutches...but i guess its not all bad...were gonna still try 2 film some of the scenes that dont involve me (Nightwing) and make a push on some of the editing...i just wanna thank everyone for believing and keeping the hype for this alive...i promise u all one hell of a movie...thanks again...more 2 come soon.

I started walking without my crutches a little bit today...so thats good. OK. met with my doc last night...i will be off the crutches as of this weekend. He wants me to continue to use them thru friday night and than see how i do without them over the weekend. :) yayyyyy! So if im lucky, maybe i can do some filming next weekend :) Im gonna work on some character pics for u all this weekend...in particular Robin since we changed his mask to a much better and Green mask...ill take some new ones of me as Nightwing as my hair is a little longer now. Ill see about having Trish take some as Oracle and maybe even get Mat to slip on his Deathstroke mask for me. :) Thanks again to all my fans here and i know its been a lonnnnng time project, but i promise you it will be well worth it.

To answer both your questions....yes when the film is done it will be available on dvd...

and things are goin by at a decent pace. we resume filming Friday night actually. im excited to put on the suit again...kick some ass...ill get some pics up for u guys soon. im srry its been a nightmare these last couple of weeks...we lost a REALLY good batch of pics..cuz come jackass at eckerd messed the role up...but ill have our photographer take some of us in production and new character shots...some of us look a little different now.

for instance...

my hair is a little longer, and i ended up shaving my goatee...wanted to look the part the most... :) i know that will please most of u...

robin's mask is now green and new style...

the mask is a custom sculpt...but i have another nightwing mask i am selling if you are interested...its black not blue, made of a lightweight latex. my suit actually came from www.spandexman.com the boots i got off ebay...

Went to that website (Spandexman) and was just blown away by the GL costume. I'm almost considering buying it. The Batman spandex would be a good purchase, too. With that as the base, you could add the trunks, gloves, boots, cowl, cape and belt as you see fit. The Supes costume as a base wouldn't be a bad purchase either.

Some of their original stuff might serve some film maker well as a base for an original superhero costume.

yeah he does great work...most people are turned off cuz i believe he is gay...and i have to admit the poses are kinda..."off" lol. aside from that though, most of his suits are great...and the Batman is good but the Bat isnt as sharp as it looks...i bought it for my last script that had batman in it...just to warn you. another good website is

Ok so we never fully recovered and began filming after our friends passed and I began to think…After CAREFUL consideration and many talks with the directors, crew, and cast and even some of my closest fanbase shh buddies…I have come to a conclusion…Now I know some of you will have negative things to say and think that this will never get done…and say how long I have been workin on this…but we just wanna make it great…We are scrapping what we have filmed so far and starting over in the spring…REASONS WHY:

1-I have gained at least 15-20 lbs of muscle, look more fit and will continue to work out over the winter…

2-My hair is getting to be Nightwing’s length…getting close to touching my eyebrows now…and I shaved my goatee as well.

3-Its too damn cold to film thru the winter…

4-People’s schedules will be better come spring time.

5-Gives us more time to practice lines, do readthrus of the script together, make costume improvements etc..

6-it wont look right in one short with NW with SHORT SPIKEY hair and smaller and than another with LONGER hair and a bigger body…

We are still going to cut a small teaser from wut we have, that should hit the net soon and ill see how some of those pictures came out…the tease will probably be footage of Nightwing, Robin, Oracle and Blockbuster…we haven’t filmed ANYTHING with Deathstroke because our actor broke his hand, but he is fully healed now…We want this to out-do every fanfilm to date…and I think with the script, the team and everyone we have a GREAT chance at doing that…Again I want to thank everyone who has ever supported me and this film on these boards…it means a lot to me. Hang in there folks…more to come soon :up:

Hey man, there's nothing wrong with delaying it till the spring. The same thing has happened with me with a film project I was planning. When things fell thru, instead of waiting it out, I've decided to delay starting it till next summer, when the script, schedules and budget are a lot better.

As I've said before, I'm really interested in seeing this project and if delaying makes it better, than go for it. Keep at it with the workouts and everything, I look forward to seeing the teaser and I can't wait to finally see the end result. I'm sure the wait will be well worth it in the end. Take care.
