Anyone knows where to find big, good quality scans of the costumes? Me and some friends are planning on doing a cosplay as "Roger Corman´s FF" (including Dr. Doom and The Jeweller), so we need the best reference materials available.

You can find the movie on any P2P torrent thingie stuff. But beware: even the "DVD-like" rip (culled from a VHS source) has an image quality that sucks. Bad. REALLY bad.

Don´t you guys have the high quality scans of the PROMO pictures? The ones that appeared on Film Threat magazine back in ´93? I own the movie on DVD, so I can take any screenshots I want; but the image quality, as I said, is icky.

I found a copy for $5.00 at a convention a few years ago and the quality kicks serious butt !
I like it...at least Doom was monarch of Latveria (even though he was the most animated ruler...especially the "you have 12 hours to surrender yourselves to me or I will wipe out NYC scene." He actually with his fingers, spelled out the number "12..." wow !!)

My friend and I were laughing so hard when he made the number 12 with his finger. He was doing all sort's of sign language, especially in that scene. Dr. Doom sounded like someone had their hand over his mouth when he talked, Doom sounded like a dying Wookie when he laughed, got an accent after he put on the costume, and his hood and cape looked like a bath towel.

How funny are those picks and there are a handful of "a-hole" critics including Harry from AICN who suggested the F/X and characters from the 94 film were superior to the new one. Corrupt.

I did the cover art, and had to Photoshop the heck of the screencaps to achieve some quality.
Here´s an actual, unnadulterared screenshot of the movie.

Looks crap on the 94's cameras... But i've been noticed something strange...
For the MDK 2 players, the comic image on the first link, reminds me the comic image of the 9th level on MDK 2!!! We have a rights taken from "Fantastic Four" comics!!!
And for another fhing... At the 2nd link, did anybody noticed that in most of the images the FF don't have the "4" logos on their chest?!?
For example, the image when reed stretches his hand, he doesn't have the logo on his suit! :ff:
juan-man
08-22-2005, 08:21 PM
well, they don't have the logos, because they use others suits in these images,ey,you have read about the initial budget of 40$ millions.

:doom: I finally got to see the original, unreleased FF movie, and wow, it's hilarious. It's not supposed to be, but wow, it is. Anyone else get a chance to see it???
Yeah, I got it off e-bay like six or seven years ago. I'll tell ya one thing I do like about it. The scene where the army comes to rescue the four after their accident and Ben doesnt realized hes been transofrmed. I think the music in that scene is uite good. I think it also plays later when Ben is roaming around the city.

Which one? If you´re talking about the one with the Red Skull, It was released on DVD in Germany by Dragon Films.
The TV versions can be found on VHS anywhere.
And there´s Republic´s Captain America, of course.

Like, if you put it in a computer it says "Data read media error" or some **** like that, and in PS@ it just gets to the constantin logo and goes to black, in a DSVD player it plays, but is jerky and the picture makes it seem that the disc is majorly scratched. Like, there's pixelation and cubes of the picture where they shouldn't be...so I'm majorly pissed off.

Had to revive this thread for a bit. This which I found is the trailer to Cormans FF version. I have seen the bootleg, and this trailer is better then the quality of the bootleg I saw. If you have never seen the movie, but want to get a clear look at what Corman made, take a gander at this. Warning : Have a barf bag handy.

Yes that is the 2nd 1 I have seen. The one at Video Additcs.com, and now this one. They are basicly the same score, with different shots of the movie. But this one is just so crystle clear, had to share it, and never saw the hybrid one by a fan.

Say what you want about Corman's movie, but one thing you have to say, the story was very faithful to the comic. Take that story, put 100 million, or in 1994 mabey 50 million, and I think you would have had 1 hell of a movie. :)

I actually prefer the 1994 version in so many ways. The only thing that sucks about is is the effects. The story, characters (especially the Jeweller) are great, the music is wonderful...the remake lost in terms of storytelling.
