Well I think James is an attractive young man. He makes me want to see him more as Scott Summers...same goes with Famke as Jean. but anyway, I hope the two of them could get together and do a spin off. They should. Sometimes you just have to push harder to get to that point. They could do it where it evolves around the original 5 or 4 ...lol but it could still centre around on Jean and Scott's relationship. it could take place a few years before x-men... Kitty could make an appearance... Pyro... they could introduce a few more mutants... maybe have sinister make an appearance in the end but i dunno.

Heh. Comas are such a convenient plot device. Even more convenient than being "lost", but not as permanent and death. They let you keep a char out of the action for as long as you want. Seems they could have done that to Cyclops in X3. Then again, maybe it was being overdone already, what with Charles taking an extended nap in X1

Actually there is a photo that would work and you have it too. It's the famous Alkali Lake reunion picture when they're standing about a foot away from each other and Scott is holding Jean's wrists. All you need to do is rotate him about 90 degrees and there you go. It's not as long bodywise so you'd have to chop off some of the picture from the left side that you're manipping, but it should work pretty good.

You won't get any Scott / Jean moments that will make you feel good. About 95% of them are flashbacks involving better times, with Jean realizing that she did something terrible and dark, and that there was no way of going back, or that she didn't even care at that point. Boo!

Yes and no. At some points she did, at other points she was swooning over Wolverine. The book is frustrating because there are some points where she's JUST THIS CLOSE to coming back to the good guys. They almost had her. If Scott managed to show up everyone would have WON! But then it all blew up and Wolverine ended up solving this the way he solves all his other problems.

Fortunately there are other written works showing alternate versions of X3, which are a bit more... merciful to the characters and portray Jean as having the strength and compassion that we all know she does, but was robbed from her in X3.

And yes, Wolverine can go cry himself silly in a corner. At least in one version Hank tells him how it is and sets the record straight.

Way ahead of you buddy, that's what one of my rewrites and the comics are for. The aftermath of X3 showing everyone's (and especially Scott's) efforts to save Jean, bring her back to the light side, and KEEP her there and away from more bad things happening will most definitely be a Scott/Jean tale

Marsden - whose "X-Men 3" character was killed off double-quick so

see the IMAX 3-D version of the Kryptonian caper in Lincoln Square

"He wanted to watch the movie with a regular audience," says a
snitch, but didn't realize he'd need to buy tickets in advance to
catch the blockbuster on a holiday weekend.

"When told it was sold out, he said to the girl behind the
counter, 'But I'm in the movie.' She didn't believe him and went to

Marsden recounted the story in New York earlier this week while
waiting to do an interview. Says the source: "The manager recognized
him immediately and escorted him to the back of the theater, where
he watched the remainder of the showing already underway."

If they fit my head, I'd probably have considered getting the Cyclops Pennys. As it stands the only Oakleys that fit me are the small frames. Plus the ruby iridium is a bit flashy for my tastes.

Either the Romeos or Juliets were in MI:II, but I don't think they were marked up as much as the X-Metal/Ruby Iridium combo.

The glasses are $425 and the reason why is because they are in the X-Men movies. Oakley themselves admitted the price was because of the movies. That's the only stupid purchase I'm ever going to make though.

I know they used to be about $300 when X1 came out. They are pretty nifty glasses though, all high tech space-age materials and stuff. And they do come in blue and tinted black, but Red's the one that matters, haha.

And yes I too am planning on making them one of my only stupid purchases. THe other is Scott's leather jacket with those white and red stripes on the left side. Any idea what brand and style that is?

my dream started out weird. I was in a forest. there were these primative life forms around the forest area. they looked like short fat monkies. one female fat monkey was following me... so I sighed and then I turned my head to the side and I felt a cool breeze coming inward off of the lake far away. So I walked towards that direction and I came out of the forest and only this time, the boulder/cliff was really really high than what it was supposedly Alkali Lake. I stood there and looked down at the lake, and I heard a voice inside my head and it wouldn't stop calling my name so I ripped my glasses off and I blasted at the lake for like 3 standard minutes. I collapsed and I stood up, sliding my glasses back in place and all hell broke loose as I saw the lake spurting loads of water up in the air and it started moving- forming a whirl pool, then something sent me falling on my ass and then cut to something moving upwards out of the water (as in X3). I heard a loud splash and I saw this 'thing' rise out of the lake, the excess of water dripping off from it and falling back into the lake itself. I gasped and sheilded my eyes from what was to come, but nothing happened- nothing harmed me. Then I saw something flash. I unshielded my eyes and looked up and saw a bright star in flames. I saw it rise up in the sky and then I watched it unfold itself before my eyes to that of Jean. she was just floating in the air with the flames flaring around her. and yes, it was Famke... I was shocked and confused, not understanding what just happened. I couldn't believe it. I called out her name, "Jean?" and she looked down and smiled. "Scott?"

Then she lowered herself to the ground, the flames disappearing and now she was standing in front of me. I looked at her and I was in awe with her beauty. My hand trembled as I ran it through her long hair. She stared deeply at me and I tried to find the words to ask her everything I didn;t understand that happened to her up to this point. I wrapped my arms around her and she leaned in against me, resting her head on my shoulder. She was wearing the same x-suit she wore in x2. we both pulled back from each other and I was about to say something when she stopped me, pressing her finger against my lips. We kissed for a while. At one point, as I mentioned earlier she was wearing her x-suit, she took my arm and we rose up together. She was now wearing her red outfit from X3. We flew :eek:

I remember she spoke a lot but I can;t remember what she said. The whole dream was sharp and crisp - just like you expect to see this on the big screen. This one blows all the other dreams I had of X-Men and Jean out of the water and Famke blew my mind.

It's very descriptive and flowing. I can see that as being one of Scott's dream sequences. And it either ends on a sudden terrifying note that makes him bolt upright sweating and panting until he realizes that Jean is safe and sound dozed off next to him, or ends on a happy note with him waking up and trying to sort reality from the dreamworld.

BTW, she really does look cute when she pouts :)

I was thinking if Marsden really had those scheduling conflicts, then the powers that be should have just set aside the PHoenix story for X4 and just used X3 to tease and tantalize the audience a bit more. Give them hope that Jean would be back and good things would happen, but that it wasn't time, yet. Scott could have decided to just take time off from the X-Men to pull himself together, and that fanfic could be one of those scenes. Certainly I think it would have made better use of Marsden's limited screen time and give the characters a more positive fate.

The Cure could still remain as the main story. It was big enough on its own, plus in retrospect Jean didn't have any role to play. She certainly didn't contribute to the battle or Magneto's war.

Don't worry I wouldn't cut out Famke :) Even without the character being back in the plot, there would still be plenty of opportunities to see her. You could do several flashbacks as the other chars recall their favorite moments or why they miss her. At least this way IMHO you'd have a story where behind-the-scenes politics and scheduling conflicts wouldn't mess up the plot.

That and it'd support Singer's set up in the first 2 films that Jean's powers and what happened to her isn't inherently sinister or evil the way it was made out to be in X3.

I think it was due to this site.

It started with me getting in a car with Danielle Panabaker(from Sky High) and her mom, and we were driving somewhere and Danielle tells me she was cast as Black Cat in Spiderman 3 and my reply was "What happened to Eliza Dushku?" She then asked me if she couldn't do the role and I just said I couldn't see her as Black Cat. Somehow the mom morphs into these two grandparents and Danielle is sitting next to me and my friends Jillian, Stephanie, and Freddy just happen to be sitting behind us.
The grandparents are driving us over a long ass bridge wherever it is we are going and they take a turn in the road and it goes into the water. They say they love us and they drive into the water only to where the front doors are submerged. We get out of the car and we find them like 5 seconds later dehydrated in the water. Then we get back in the car, me in the driver's seat and Danielle in the passenger and we leave the bodies and back out of the road.
While backing out the bridge suddenly turns into a mix of Disney rides and we get out of the car and walk through the ride while the ride compartments go by. It's a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, the Moroccan ride at Epcot, and Wizard of Oz. Well yeah, anyway we get to the end which is a tornado of Tinker Bell's pixie dust, and we end up in a gift shop. One of my friends is looking out a window while the rest of us are looking around and a light flashes over everything and I wake up.

I believe the light was Phoenix. :p

You go through levels, each of them something different. For example you need to destroy the Infinite Factory and defeat Sinister, or you need to go through the Dead Plains and rescue Blink. There's a story throughout the game too. Little cutscenes...soem of the voicing talents are hilariously overdone, although Patrick Stewart is Xavier. Umm...anything else you want to know?

Yeah theres little VO conversations with some characters, little bonuses. I had Colossus in my team, and they had to talk to Kitty. They had this entire conversation about Scarlet Witch checking him out and everything. Pretty funny.

Here we go... my scanner is missing a little chunk of sensors and that's why there's a big black bar... for the most part the black bar covered nothing -- in the one case where it covered a picture, I re-scanned that part and pasted it over.

Also, oneteen, I agree, we should've seen something like this in X3. Maybe Scott should've taken her back to the mansion, and it'd be him in the infirmary. The writers could still kill him off, just have them hot 'n' heavy first, lol. Then Jean freaks out, Scott's trying to calm her down, and she appears to have "killed" him. Not that he should even look like he's dead, but if there was no other way to get it to happen on the big screen....

Here we go... my scanner is missing a little chunk of sensors and that's why there's a big black bar... for the most part the black bar covered nothing -- in the one case where it covered a picture, I re-scanned that part and pasted it over.

10th & Wolf:
OK, well I guess I didn't read the part in that news bit about 10th and Wolf about it being released next month, but this looks damn good, folks. Forget about the Godfather comparisons, this one looks like the real deal, folks. Sure, most mob movies all seem the same, but this looks great, with the busy James Marsden as a Marine who gets in a pickle overseas and gets twisted to twist up his mob family. While my man Giovanni Ribisi doesn't have a starring role here, this could be his big break if this flick does good, because he looks to deliver another great performance here, but on a much bigger stage with this flick. Can't wait for this one, folks. 10th & Wolf opens on August 18 in limited release.
