We've only seen Angel in one outfit and in one scene too and he's also missing from the final battle. There is still hope for Cyclops.

i thought that as well.. unless they do a cyclops on angel.. itll just focus in on the regulars .. like wolverine.. if hes having his own solo project, he should've just been a cameo for this one !

People have been throwing around the idea of a Team B and that to me seems unlikely.. but it would be cool and I hope that would happen. It would fit in since Angel has only been featured in one scene. And Jean hasn't really been showed either. I imagine that the post production on their powers would take the longest to do and would be saved for the end. So in a way in would make sense if Cyclops were to lead a Team B. It would explain his absence from most of the scenes of the regular x-men. And why no one seems to be phased by Cyclops missing. Also following comic history, the x-men were split into two before with Cyclops leader of Team Blue (X-Men) and Storm as Team Gold (Uncanny X-Men)

Cyclops also helped found X-Factor, though i dont think they're going to go that route, it could be a homage to it. This other team would surely include cyclops and angel .. and maybe throw in surprise characters in cameos .. for all we know cyclops rides off to find his brother alex.. and we see him and havok at the end.. but again i think i am getting a lil bit ahead of myself .. hehe .. again just wishful thinking but i doubt any of this would come true but one can hope :)

I don't think Cyclops should die at all. But If He died in battle I would'nt be mad at all if justice was done to his charecter before he died and his death was done in an emotional manner like, Jean's death in X2.

I think Jean confronted her and she discovered that her attractions grew mainly because she swapped bodies with Kwannon, If I'm not mistaken.

Wolverine became more powerful and dangerous as time went by and character became more popular.

He really didnt do alot in the Claremont/Bryne days. His mouth was always bigger than his actions. Sasquatch and Colossus both took him out with one punch.

He brutally whipped Magneto/Xorn, shot a powerful blast that completely blew apart Sinister, single handedly destroyed a Sentinel, taking out Juggernaut (this is more to intelligence), outwitted Apocalypse... i mean, almost all the major villians our cyke had defeated them.. wow!

Agreed. I think IF Jean has to die at the end, Scott should be the one to do it and just like that. So that she can see his eyes, then she would NOT hold back the beams and let them destroy her. It would be tragic and emotional but a great closure to their relationship.

A: As for rumors about Cyclops' death in the film, that would be a spoiler and I cannot comment on that. You'll just have to wait to see the movie. I get this question a lot, and death is relative in the X-Men universe.

Nothing is forever in the Marvel world. At the end of the last X-Men, from what I saw, Jean Grey had died. But she happened to be back on the set on the first day of shooting "X-Men: The Last Stand", so you never know...
