1. I LOVE what you guys have done with Angel's wings. Was there a reason you guys chose to give his wings a cleaner, less ruffled look than from the comics?

*It was Brett’s decision. I think he wanted to show those wings as something beautiful – something that Warren should be proud of.

2. When Ben Foster was cast as Angel, do you think he was also looked at for a possible Archangel in the near future? Because if you've seen Hostage, Ben makes for a damn creepy and disturbed kid. And I have a gut feeling (which I hope I'm right about) that you guys were looking to cast a person not just for Angel, but for if (and hopefully when) he would transform into Archangel.

I used to watch that show, I've known who Ben Foster was forever and when I first saw him in hostage, I was taken by surprise. I was very midly skeptical of him being Angel, but I was just so happy they included the character I didn't worry about the casting till I saw the trailer and there was no need to worry after that.

I've been waiting to see Angel since the start six years ago, and had almost convinced myself he would get screwed over in favor of Gambit.

20th Century Fox has provided a new FX shot of Angel spreading his wings in the laboratory; although reminiscent of an earlier shot, the photos features a cleaner look at his wings and darker blue lighting (the original photo was recently updated with the same blue tone), which highlights the fact that the FX for the film are constantly being improved!

Angel's evolution. They added more detail to the feathers, and they not only set the wings further down his back, but pulled them up so they taper near his waist - in the first two shots the wings extend down to about mid-thigh.

Nope it was the same in the trailer. I think the tv spots had Beast darker in that shot but I don't know if they fixed the collar line. I'm sure they will fix it though.

It says on the site and its a part of angels history that at first he couldnt accept what he was and wanted to get rid of his wings. Well we know from storyboards and the trailer that mystique gets the cure and that seconds before warren goes through with it he says he cant do it anymore.

Well, its logical that his father would need to test the cure first before using it on his own son, so who better to test it on than an "evil" mutant like mystique who would have infiltrated the building earlier to find out what the source of the cure was. Mystique is proud of who she is so much so that she chooses to walk around in her natural form than in a disguise. What if warren witnesses her getting cured and sees that this is a woman who's physical mutation can be considered a lot worse that his own, shes solid blue ffs yet she accepts who she is and is devastated when she loses her abilities.

Mystique could be the one who makes warren finally embrace his own mutation and therefore realise he doesnt need to be cured.

Just a thought...

That's a good theory. I doubt Angel's dad would test the cure out on his own son, so that could very well fit with your theory. :up:
