Easy. One thing to do is give Angel a weapon, and let him loose throughout the sky. That's very effective.

One Example of Angel being "effective" in the final battle:
1. Fly down from sky
2. Pick up random person
3 Fly back up high in the sky with said person
4. Drop said person

Or give him a staff and let him fly around and beat people.

"The Da Vinci Code" -- Adam Steinberg


Hollywood's preeminent blockbuster-making team will be at it again this summer with the hottest novel this side of Harry Potter. Paris and the Louvre will play host to Ron Howard's much anticipated adaptation of "The Da Vinci Code."

Hanks stars as symbologist/detective Robert Langdon, who is called into duty after a Louvre curator is murdered. What Langdon finds are clues that hold the key to unlocking a secret that has been hidden for 2,000 years. Langdon, along with cryptographer Sophie Noveau (the magnificent Audrey Tautou), must uncover the mystery before they can be stopped by secret societies or the police. The film also stars Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina, Paul Bettany and Jean Reno.

The pairing of Howard and Hanks brings instant name recognition to the film. Using Dan Brown's best-selling novel as the source material for the picture guarantees its status as the film of the summer. "The Da Vinci Code" will bring Hanks, who hasn't had a hit since "Catch Me If You Can," back into the limelight and will make Audrey Tautou a star. Look for the film May 19.

"X-Men: The Last Stand" -- Adam Steinberg

"X-Men" is a good comic-book film. "X2" is a great comic-book film. Will "X-Men: The Last Stand" be supernatural or just natural?

The final film in the "X-Men" trilogy centers around a plot to cure Mutants of their disease and the emergence of the Dark Phoenix. The Brotherhood, a mutant group led by Magneto, seeks to stave off their elimination by starting a war with the humans. The Dark Phoenix, otherwise known as Jean Grey, is a supernatural force that inhabits Grey's body and could lead to the destruction of all mankind.

"The Last Stand" appears to be the epic to end all epics. Not only will the film feature multiple plot lines, but many new heroes and villains will be introduced. The Beast (Kelsey Grammar ... yes, Frasier) will be featured, as will the Angel (who later becomes the ArchAngel), the Juggernaut and possibly even Sentinels (so the rumor has it). "The Last Stand" will most surely top "X2" in terms of the coolness of its characters, but will the movie be as good?

Despite the success of the first two "X-Men" films, director Bryan Singer decided to jump ship and direct the new "Superman" film instead of "The Last Stand."

Taking his place is the illustrious Brett Ratner of "Rush Hour" fame. While Ratner certainly isn't the director that Singer is, he's had a few hits of his own. But "The Last Stand" isn't exactly a Chris Tucker vehicle, and comic-book fans are shaking at the knees that Ratner will create a bomb - and not the special effects kind. But any film with Wolverine in it can never be counted out. "The Last Stand" arrives May 26.
"Superman Returns" -- Chris Jaynes

It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's a new Superman movie! For the die hard Superman fans it has been 23 years since the last film debuted - "Superman IV" doesn't count. Bringing back one of the most beloved super heroes is a tricky process, it gets even trickier when your leading man doesn't have a lot of experience under his belt. Brandon Routh will be filling the stylish red boots of Superman, but this is Routh's first time in a major motion picture. He certainly does look the part; hopefully he will be able to play the part.

The film "Superman Returns" is in good hands with Brain Singer as the director. Singer is the genius director behind the two successful X-men movies. The screenplay for this "Superman Begins" has been in the works since late 1995 and had several big names try and make a blockbuster movie out of it. Eleven years and numerous plots later, the final version will satisfy longtime Superman fans, but at the same time bring the Man of Steel into the 21st century.

To help Routh carry some of the weight of the movie, look for veteran movie actors like Kevin Spacey. Spacey has shaved his head to play Lex Luther, the villain of the film. Spacey is going to bring a unique dimension to Lex Luther and an extra touch of villainy that was not in the original Luther played by Gene Hackmen. Where would Clark Kent / Superman be with out a sexy Lois Lane? Lane is being played by the attractive Kate Bosworth whose girl next door attractiveness will light up the screen.

With a budget of $250 million, summer movie goers will be previewed to a plethora of special effects and visual images. Check out the teaser trailer online, but be warned, it will leave you wanting more and the release date is not until June 30. "Superman Returns" will be the mid summer blockbuster and thrill audience with its special effects and super hero plot.

"Snakes on a Plane" follows two FBI agents, Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sean Jones (Nathan Philips), as they transport a mafia member to testify against his former employer. On the transpacific flight, an assassin lets loose a gaggle of poisonous snakes in order to murder the informant.

This film has generated intense Internet buzz since its announcement. The combination of the to-the-point title and the bizarre plot make this film a morbid fascination for most moviegoers. Even if it ends up being terrible, it will most likely be similar to a traffic accident - you just won't want to look away. Even the star of the film, Samuel L. Jackson, is quoted saying that the whole reason he signed up for the movie was the title, and he was adamantly against the short-lived change to Pacific Air Flight 121.

If the film turns out to be a bomb, it automatically succeeds for combining two of the most intense things in modern society: snakes and air planes. Be sure to check out this movie when it is released in theaters on Aug. 18.

I wouldn't analyze that too much. We may later get Archangel (Which I'm pretty damn sure we will :D), but we've only been introduced to Angel in this movie. We need at least one more movie with Angel before he becomes Archangel.

No, I don't think there will be an Archangel arc developed in X3 . . . it's too much. Also, if there is an X4, I doubt the entire cast will be back (depending on who is killed off and who wants to return . . . the series may be getting a bit long in the tooth for some of the actors).

The formation of Archangel heavily involves the original five X-Men, as well as Apocalypse, etc. If the story could not include the original five or stay close enough to the comicbook counterpart, then I wouldn't want it to be done. To me, once these movies start drifting too far away from the source material, the purpose of the films is somewhat lost.

Everyone is saying that this is the last movie. The only hope of future movies is hints that these characters could go on. Turning Angel into Archangel wouldn't be a hint... it'd require a new movie to explore this new arc, and then this wouldn't be the last movie, would it?

So yea, it'd be kinda pointless to say this is the last movie, and then turn around and add this arc into the mix.

Ratner has said it tons of times.

Hugh Jackman also said in the Premiere magazine article that he was in the office of a Fox high up, and they said that they were done with the X-Men movies after this one.

It's common knowledge that this is the last one.

Using that as a marketing ploy makes absolutley no sense, as not being labeled as the last in the series didn't do any box office harm what so ever to movies like The Two Towers, Matrix Reloaded, or Attack of the Clones...

This is the last movie, and hopefully they stick to that.

Thanks, Worthy. And you know what? That's about fourteen layers. I had to use the eraser and erased all parts of Angel to get that bright effect while the rest is dark, like a real angel. Took me about one frustrating hour, but it was worth it, of course. ;)

Simon, I love Angel's new promo inside the new Premiere magazine. It's noticeably different from what we've seen of him so far. He looks alot less serious and more confident than he has in other screen captures and promos. Will we be seeing a transition, or growth, emotionally from Angel in this movie?

*Yes. We tried to really have Angel evolve (emotionally/personally) over the span of the film, in a relatively short amount of time. I would say his relationship to his mutation and to his family shift significantly.

Looks like he'll be in the final battle :D Actually, it shows Xavier and Cyclops there too, and Jean with the team, so I think it's just an ensemble shot and isn't supposed to represent a specific scene in the film. The bridge background is just there for impact.
One thing that poster does tell us is that Angel for sure gets a uniform and joins the team. *claps*
