Boooo! They're giving waaaaay too much away - I don't mind seeing Bobby ice-up, but seeing him use it to evade Pyro's flames and take his nemesis out with a head-butt, that just spoils the entire outcome of their fight.

Poor-quality utube was NOT how I wanted to see those two duke it out!

You never know though...that might not be the end of the fight. Once Bobby ices up that might be when they really kick it into high gear. For all we know, Pyro gets pissed and decides to create some of his famous fire creatures

within the crowd of protestors gives us indication of 1) That while logan, xavier and storm are after jean. That Rogue Kitty Collosus and Bobby are on another mission...they are now more likely to be the ones to recruit Angel, but don't count Beast or even Moira's role in the Worthington Labs trip short yet.
2) We now also see where Pyro went, rather then go to Jean's house

That was incredible! After all my hopes (as far as the importance of geek-hopes are concerned) of an iced-up Iceman is fulfilled he busts out a head-butt to boot!

Now that I'm calm...it seems that Bobby made a prolonged 'fake-out' to get near enough to Pyro to really take him out. Otherwise Pyro'd keep everyone at bay with this fire.

And that line, feels like the Ice-man from the comics.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how to go about that . . . I noticed that his hands kind of turned blue/purple when he shook hands with Wolverine in X2 . . . which is why it's kind of colored that way . . . and the rest of the stuff on it, I had no idea how to go about doing. Ice is tricky to paint.

This time around he feels confident about getting the call for X3 (it's a fairly safe bet that there'll be one). The seeds of future plot development were sewn in X2 with the deteriorating friendship between good-boy Bobby and the delinquent Pyro. "If there's a third, it's gonna be Bobby's and Pyro's turn to have a showdown," Ashmore says. "You know, fire and ice."

It's been confirmed that Bobby will ice up at least twice, and it's also been confirmed that he will ride an ice slide at least once. But has it ever been confirmed that he will be doing BOTH at the same time?

I also wonder if he will power down (ice off) after his encounter with Pyro. Personally, I think he should continue fighting in ice form, just so that his body gets use to it.... But I know they have a strict budget to stick to.

Since he can manipulate water temperature, he probably has to be able manipulate water on other molecular levels, but maybe not as freely as someone like Hydro-Man...

I'm guessing for this Iceman/Pyro fight, that Iceman inevitably has to start losing the fight because for him to generate all that air, he would need to use alot of water molecules from the air...Since Pyro's fire would be consuming all of the water that Iceman is generating, Bobby would start to lose his ability to create more external cold from the air..

I guess that Iceman's only means of protection is to decrease his external and internal body temperatures so low that his entire body would freeze over using his own body's internal molecules...

I'm not so sure I like the way that Sentinel looked, when Wolverine lobbed it's head off. ... Why not make it look closer to the way it appears in comics?... Not some bastardized "Singer" version.... I mean, who the hell is he to change over 40 years of Marvel (X-Men) continuity.

After reviewing the hi-res Pyro Iceman spot again (spot #9), and a testimony from a fan in another thread that has actually seen the film, it looks like he IS TRANSPARENT. I've had my speculation in the beginning, but now that I've seen the spot in a higher quality, it looks transparent.

How he completely iced up with his leather uniform on is beyond me....

Also, for all you nay-sayers about him cheating on Rogue, it looks like it was finally revealed that she called it off with him first.

I have to see the movie first but if they were over and he then kissed Kitty then I'm okay. I can understand Rogue's P.O. expression at the window though because she would be thinking that he could at least pretend to miss her and not get over her in less than like 24 hours. I feel a little sorry for Kitty. Can you say rebound?

As with most guys, there is no "said" grace period before we move on to the next female love/sex interest. I'm sure his envolement with Kitty wasn't overnight. And the same goes with women. Surely Kitty knew about his relationship with Rogue, and feeling somewhat in the middle of it all, there had to be a grace period for her to feel comfortable, before she allowed herself to be envolved with him.

I agree. If they can do the "I'm the Juggernaut B****" line for fans, they should do his ice slide. I guess the producers figure one request per character from the fans. In Iceman's case, it was probably him icing up.

Made me feel for him. Especially the shot of him in the jet.. and the music that was playing was really good and suited the scene, especially when he looks over at Kitty...then theres a shot of her... a shot of Colossus and a shot of Beast... :( :) great scene. Loved it.

ya one of my teachers Beau Janssen worked with 5 other guys on mystiques special FX, it was a group of 5 free lancers who had day jobs and only had a month to do the FX!:eek: and only 2 were in cali, the others were in vancouver so they had to do a bunch of confrence calls.:eek: but i think they turned out good, they did the FX for mystique on all 3 movies.

Collosus jumps down and booms the floor

X3 shows a prime example of Bobby only learning to ICE UP when it counted, life and death scenario, otherwise the Danger Room never took him to test his powers in such a way

i thought that all along. i have 2 explanations
-the writers did not know what they were talking about(biggest x men fans in the world yeah right)
- they wanted to make phoenix so powerful it's unparalleled. people would just say why can't iceman stop her if he is just as powerful.
