I was watching Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends today & it was an episode that included the X-Men & instead of Kitty Pride they had a character with the same power as her only she was refered to as Sprite. Was Kitty Pride originally called Sprite at one time or has she always been Kitty Pride & the cartoon just messed it up?:confused:

not really, he was in for a short time, he broke out pretty quick. also he is invulnerable, i think that would prevent him from dying when phased into the floor

Well Kitty phases through the space between Atoms of a solid object. So by solidifying herself or someone else while in an object they'd become one with the object. In other words, instant death.

i must say that kitty was one of the few things that x3 got right. i totally fell in love with her character in this movie. although i was glad that they didn't do that stupid love triangle with rouge, it was really played up much more than i thought and thank god it didn't happen.

i was really happy that kitty reminded bobby that he has rogue. she seemed to push away his advances, i liked that. hopefully with see kitty and peter in the future

Yeah, they do die. Same goes for Kitty, she can't stay in walls for too long a period, only as long as she can hold her breath.

IMO the Juggernaut scene could be vaild. I mean the dude is basically indestructable, the ground probably solified around him.

Which cartoon? Evolution? Because it had some inconsistencies. Like Nightcrawler being able to teleport everywhere he wants to without seeing where he goes or Logan not dying when Leech shut his healing factor off.

His body is constantly healing him because of his adamantium skeleton. If his powers would suddenly stop his body would immediately start to reject the adamantium.

That's why in the House of M when everything returned to normal, they immediately rushed to Logan because they were afraid he lost his powers and would die.

Colossus obviously was shafted, but you cannot say he was out of character I suppose. It seemed to me characters like Wolverine, Juggernaut, Storm, Magneto and Xavier who had a lot more dialogue got really mishandeled. Wolverine was some Cyclops and then Wolverine morphing mutant. And really the characters had no motivation to do what they were doing other than "oh well I guess its just time to save the world...ho hum". Whereas characters like Kitty and Iceman are allong for the ride anyways, so a lack of motivation on their part really does not matter. Plus the small love story was fun and actually involved character development since it did not involve explosions, which were often used in place of that. Also Ellen Page is just so damn cute she worked.

Actually they can even work the bad acting to their advantage since Colossus is somewhat of a simple man, he does not have a lot to say, and Singer showed that with very small added scenes (like him drawing Rogue and Bobby) you can flesh out a character like Colossus with minimal dialogue.

Made me feel for him and her. Especially the shot of him in the jet.. and the music that was playing was really good and suited the scene, especially when he looks over at Kitty...then theres a shot of her... a shot of Colossus and a shot of Beast... great scene. Loved it.

Yeah...It was actually better, ant...Iceman still had true feelings for Rogue. Kitty's interaction with Bobby was there only so that Rogue could finally get that emotional push that she needed to take the cure...It wasn't too serious, but it was just enough (a kiss might've been too much)..

Kitty is a cool character - John Byrne actually lived in my city for many years, went to school here etc. (Calgary, Canada) and named Kitty Pryde after a girl in a dormitory or apartment building he lived in since he thought the name was so cool.
