Let me explain further, now that I have image-viewing turned off.

You have an above post with five images in it. According to my browser, two of those images are:
http://www.divideby0.com/photos/200...y1/PICT0131.JPG
and
http://www.divideby0.com/photos/200...y1/PICT0098.JPG

When I view them, they both show up as 5000x5000 (yes, five thousand) blank white pictures. For some reason, both of these images slow down my PC to a steady crawl that caused Firefox to crash several times.

Also, while they both save on my harddrive as normal jpgs, they seem to view in my Firefox window as .png files.

Actually, I think I figured out why they keep messing up with me, but not for you.

Those images only come out correctly when they're viewed at their proper website. When you direct-link images from divideby0, they come out incorrectly. It's sorta like how Tripod substitutes direct-linked images for a small picture with Tripod's name on it. Divideby0 substitutes direct-linked images with massive blank 5000x5000 png files, just to annoy people.

The only reason you still see it correctly on this forum is because the real image is saved in your cache. The picture of that kid as Beast Boy kept showing up as the 5000x5000 blank.png until I went to divideby0, found the page with those cosplay images, and clicked on the image at the source.

So folks, you cannot direct-link images from divideby0.

You should retitle the thread "Just to be a disingenuous prick"

I know of no regular poster here who wants "spandex", despite the pathological lying anti-change people insinuating anyone who wants change or some color in the costumes wants these fan-made spandex costumes.

and last time I checked, the spandex-like costume from the Spider-man movie doesn't look like this

http://www.giftsensation.com/spiderman-costume.jpg

in fact the Spider-Man movie costume is by infinetly superior to the boring ass X-Men movie costumes, or any other superhero movie costume.

i've shown nothing but support for the costumes that have been posted in this thread. In fact, I repeatedly said that I liked the fan renditions of wolverine's "new x-men" costume better that the one in the movies.

*Sigh* It's not the colors themselves that people oppose. It's the fact that 5 or 6 people running around on screen wearing different colored-costumes, even toned down ones would look silly. Imagine Cylops in a dark blue and yellow running around next to Storm in white and yellow and Wolverine in brown and sublte orange. They could definitely make them look good on their own, but all of them together would look...random. The uniform idea looks best on screen, for non-distractions's sake. It's a quantity-not-quality argument, from me atleast.

Sorry to the thread starter. I didn't mean to turn this into a spandex vs. leather debate, but it had to be said.

Of course if you put a stupid fan costume next to something from a movie the movie will look better but, the leather costumes suck so much the spandex looks better. If you have a good spandex suit like in FF it'll be fine.
