Why? I'd rather feel sympathy for the characters and root for them than just wait for the next splash of gore with a smile on my face b/c i dont care about them (which is the case in most mindless teen horror flicks these days). I'll take depth over garbage any day of the week. And that's why the HHH is an excellent horror movie.

A meteor crashes from outer space, and inside is some kind of blob that feeds on flesh, and the more it eats, the bigger it gets, and it can get to you anywhere and just about any time. It's really a terrifying concept if you think about it when almost nothing can stop it. The gore factor when you see it actually dissolve the people in that remake just ups the terror.

the one thing i want to see is pyro's australian bg. i still dont know why singer didnt give him an accent and have him dye is hair. Maybe a little australian accent would be cool?? i would like to see that a lot

Don't know if this was answered yet, but when Aaron was filming for Pyro in the 2nd film, he'd asked if he should do the Australian accent since the comic verse did. The producers said they tried that and it didn't work.

And there are several movies when actors have wavered in and out of their accents and I find it unfair that Halle Berry's/Storm's has been so heavily isolated and criticized...

storm... halle berry... im contented w/ that i mean who wouldnt... but regarding her performance i wouldnt blame her since her character wasnt given the heavy liners in x1 and x2. im just glad that ratner will give her character justice and similar to the character that storm portrayd in the comics. :p

The sound effects for Phoenix won't have been on set. They would have added them later.

I'm still not sure as to whether it was Phoenix or Pyro. It could have been any of them at this point. They seemed too far away from Phoenix to be her however.

Yeah it's a high pitch screech, presumably from the equipment. Building up pressure and then letting the fire blast upwards.

After listening to what the man said, I think it's safe to say that it's Pyro. :)
