There's a promo pic out.....Way to anime looking. Doom and Moleman look cool though. Ben had a big "4" spray painted on his chest, Johnny had stereotypical yellow spikey anime' hair, the Baxter Building looks like a giant dildo, and, if I'm not mistaken, their suits have a red stripe on them.

My hopes are low.

We (UK) usually get shows after the first series has finished in America. I also noticed that nearly every new cartoon is Anime styled.

I was looking forward to this show, but now I'm not. Animes were cool a few years ago, but now there's just too much overkill. The thing that really makes me angry is that American animators think they can do anime just as good as any actual anime, but they can't! It's obvious whether something is an anime rip-off or genuine.

I wish they could just start a marve animated universe like for DC shows like JLU, Superman:TAS, BATMAN and Gotham Knights.

I wish they would use a more realistic animation. They could start a continuity with this and the upcoming Avengers Animated Movies. and DR. Strange Movie.

The problem with Marvel's starting a whole animated continuity is that they've sold off the rights of their characters for TV and movie media to like 30 different companies. There's no way they'd get all of the studios and networks to coordinate and allow them to create a unified animated continuity, and given Marvel's current money-over-quality mindset, there's no way Marvel would even bother trying.

I think the problem is most people seem to forget that KIDS are the main demographic and yeah you guessed it KIDS like this american anime style. When I was kid and was watching stuff like TF, Thundercats etc, if some late teen, twenty somehting came up to me and started droning on about how fantastic Super friends etc was back in the day and how He-man isn't a real cartoon . I would have no doubt laughed my ass off and told him to get lost. The same applies here.

I really don't know why you guys are complaining about the new series being an American anime thing, when the show is being doen by the same people who drew Code Lyoko, and might I add that show was NOT done by Americans, or the Japanese, but in Canada. So stop saying "stupid american anime" and junk. Stop saying "stupid kids don't know what real cartoons are anymore". 'Cause it's not their fault, actually.
People make what people watch. And now, Japanese anime is in. In fact, more countries are doing the anime style instead of America. Like France and Canada. France brought us "Totally Spies" and "Martin Mystery", I believe. I can hardly name anyother "Americanime" out there. Have you guys seen the shows on Cartoon Network? And I mean CARTOON Network, not Toonami.
CN has Billy and Mandy, Camp Lazlo, they still air Johnny Bravo and Samurai Jack along with Justice League and MEGAS XLR, with many other cartoons. Look at Disney channels. Their cartoons may be crap, but their still non-anime style cartoons.
The kids still watch them, so I don't know what you guys are crying about. Don't blame America or its children, blame Canada and France if you have to.

My only complaint about the probable look of the cartoon is the costumes.
They're not blue.
Thats like making spideys outfit yellow and purple.

Well variations can sometimes be just as good or even better. Spider-man Unlimited for example, kickass costume. Rogue, Kitty and Wolverine on X-men: Evolution also had great looks. Hell, every member of Teen Titans looks better in the cartoon than the comic.

the main thing about reed, minus the hair, which, BTW, i could pull off, but he can't, is the fact that he looks to muscular, he should look normal...wel, you know what i mean.

and i've just noticed, Sue has unusualy masive hips.

I agree with the muscle thing. If Im doing art involving the F4, I always draw Johnny more muscular than Reed.
Sue probably has huge hips because It sort of looks like thats the style of the cartoon. Some things are exaggerated. In this case, her womanly hips.

You know, some anime is worthy of comparison to the best live action dramas and comedies on TV. Examples...

Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Great Teacher Onizuka
Boogiepop Phantom
Wolf's Rain
Hellsing
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

But most anime that's shown on U.S. TV (though Adult Swim has had some good series) is complete childish crap. And some good series are ruined by bad English voice acting and bad editing (which is what will happen to Naruto...which is a shame).
