Update: Billy Grassbaugh not joining Cast

As it turns Bill is NOT going to be in X3 after all.



A unknown actor/model called Bill Grassbaugh has scored a role in X-Men 3. No further information on the person in question is available at this moment in time. He could be playing ANYTHING in the movie (mutant, human, extra etc.).

What part of "small cameo" was elusive to you? Gambit was NEVER going to be a major player in this film, just a brief cameo to nod to fans. I thought this was pretty clearly stated multiple times?

No, but what's wrong with saying that a small nobody is playing what we know is a small role (Gambit), Gambit may be a major character in the comics, but look at Colossus he was a small role in X2. Daniel Cudmore was a newbie before hand. The guy has the look of Gambit, even if he loves his middle finger and himself way too much, so it doesn't hurt me or any of you guys to say that our search is possibly over.

That way if he does turn out to be a certain character you'd like to at least see get some action in X3 you'll be nicely surprised. That's what I have been keeping my faith about "G" role, but this boy... He's never been into a movie, he hasn't got any experience filming... and he seems to be "G", too much coincidences.

Maybe they want to keep it quiet to see exactly what this guy can do. If it works, great. If not, it is not the end of the world, because they can simply cut the guy out of the film or reduce his role to a cameo.

Now this is a strictly hypothetical situation here. If the guy is telling the truth. If he has become a menber of the cast. If he has been cast as Gambit. It could all end up being complete BS and we have specualted ourselves to death for nothing.

Ok i got an e-mail today from carl who works as a lighting repair man, seems that a few of the x-men 3's lights blown in a scene and need repairing. Anyway whilst carl was there at the studio, he saw patrick stewart, some woman around the same age as him with ginger hair, grammer as beast in full costum, and there was a mid 20's student like lab assisant with black brown hair, the scene was entitled "the love of science" From what he said of the scene, Xavier and Beast enter the room to meet with Professor Moria McTaggart, to the side there is an assistant named Jamie,

In the scene they are discussing the cause of the cure thats been going about. and in one scene Jamie gets knocked and this is where a special effects was going to happen where Jamie expands into 4 people knocked down on the floor.

Acording to him it seemed like a comical moment in x-men 3.

Also carl told me that there was also a brown coated guy with brown hair holding a large stick who was getting ready to film a scene right afterwords within the very same set.

Sounds like Gambit and Multipleman has been casted.

You're right. I just re-checked his post at the school's page and there's no date. Maybe the guy did think at one point that he was in but that fell through and he just didn't post a follow up.

It was at a modeling competition and someone who claimed to be involved with the X-Men movies had spoken with me about playing the part of Gambit. After a long while of silence afterwards I figured it was nixed. while it would make me happy as hell to play everyone's favorite card-weilding Cajun, I just don't think it's going to be happening, much to my dismay. Currently I'm working on my modeling, but I do try to keep up with gossip. Odd that I would miss this peice though.
anyway, hope that cleared things up for some of ya'll, sorry if it caused more drama then it was worth. Hmmm, maybe. When it comes to movies and making people seem taller, it's mostly about the cmera angles. Tom Cruise is only 5'5 as well and they make him seem taller in almost all of his movies without lifts most of the time.
