Yes! That was just a lame attempt to bring Tommy back! Remember the green ranger was way to powerful to be part of the group. The Green Ranger could have done everything by himself but in order to have Tommy be part of the show more they turned him into the white ranger.

Yes, white was powerful until they kicked his ass...They keep getting more powerful in every season! It never ends! I say we go to Japan and kill its source.

BTW, White and green fought each other in a somewhat "clone saga" and the green did kick his butt.

Yeah, I honestly liked the original cast. Jason, Tommy, Billy, Kim, the black guy, the chinese chick.

But once they began to change the cast around and turn Tommy into the white ranger it all began to suck but I still watched until the Zeo and Turbo s**t came out.

Once the original show ended and the zeo and turbo crap came out I just had enough and stopped watching.

they had a turtle zord and a diff animal zord that they could call on to help them...it was like, a brontosaurus or something...they were only in the original, back when there zords were all dinosaurs though.

yes, yes, I remember now. After the second season they replaced the original red, black, yellow rangers and the others stayed. It was in Zeo where Kim left and Billy just stopped being a ranger and began to help and Jason came back in Zeo as the black ranger!

I auditioned for the lead on Power Rangers: Wild Force, I obviously didn't get it though.

Now here's my thing about Power Rangers. This show gets a lot of s**t, and no I'm not six years old or anything, but I always thought that if Power Rangers had had some changes it could have been a much better show. Primetime on Fox like Dark Angel or something, hour long show with kick @$$ fight scenes.

Lay off the cheesy costumes though. I suppose is you had to use multi colored ones, those armored movie ones hanging up at Planet Hollywood would work, but minus the big robots, thats too much.

And you would have to of course have Amy Jo Johnson (Felicity, also a singer) return as her breakthrough role. She was by far the best and best looking.)

I have to agree, she was hot. Why couldn't I vote for her? I also liked Thuy (the yellow ranger), I didn't know that she passed away :( I stopped watching it after they left the show.

i remeber once a while back on one of the episodes they made a clone of Tommy the white Ranger and made the clone The Green Ranger and the big fight was White Ranger vs Green Ranger. From what I remember though Green Ranger won. He cheated or something like that, it was a long ime ago so I don't really remember. However one set of episodes I do remember though was the series Power Rangers in Space. For a kids show that was pretty cool. I remember the Rangers getting their asses handed to them for most of the series. And not in one of those episodes when they lose at the beggining and kill the monster at the end. The same monsters kept coming back and like for a week straight would kick the **** out of the Rangers. That may not seem long but for Power Rangers thats an eternity. I also liked how they ended the series. All the monsters finally realized that the out numbered the rangers and attacked the entire universe taking over planets killing other power rangers and so on. It ended with The Red Ranger having to kill Zordon to save the universe even though the entire series was about them going into space and trying to save Zordon. I don't know I just thought that was an interesting twist for a Power Rangers Show

i agree with you. if they took on more of a harder edge i think a lot more people would love the show.from things i have heard from old power rangers cast members i think that they wish the same things. the movie costumes and the movie zords, occasionly, would make it a little better looking. and probably cooler weapons other than karate would be cool

In the original japanese episodes, which were called "Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger", the Sensei , which is a master in animal transformation, transformed himself during a attack at the Ninja academy into a Hamster. He is stucked into this form, because he claimed to have forgotten the spell that turns him back.

The power rangers was sort of a pre pokemon fad which didnt last. While everyone in my class moved on I STAYED INTO IT FOR THE NEXT 7 YEARS. The show always has held a special place in my heart. I always thought if the remade the original pr with the latest cgi effects and more egier plots it would be great. But I wish the would just stop makeing the ones their airing now for good. I mean no ones watching them there just makeing them. The thing that pains me about them is they never get any better. Even with all our technolgy today their still dubbing over japanese episodes and haveing some dude dress up it a costume everytime they fight a giant monster.

I quit watching after Kimberly the Pink Ranger left, but Trini, the asian yellow ranger was nice too, shame she died a couple of years ago. It was right after she did Crow:City of Angels.

The holl 7 years I was into power rangers I never new it was a japanese show dubbed with american actors. Threw out the years my mom would always try to explain that to me, but I never could understand her. Once I got into anime and learned what dubbing was, My mother once again explained that to me. And I understood finally after years of her trying to explain it to me. The only reson they still do them it for toy franchises. Gimicks such reinventing a clasic show every year just dont work in america(with the exeption of star trek), which is why they must keep them in japan.

I liked the first 3 series when it was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers... I never got into any of that Zeo or Space or Turbo crap... And at the time, I liked the movie too...

Green Ranger was best and Kimberly was the hottest... Green Ranger had the best zord too, with that flute thing...

I watched the show until 'Power Rangers TimeForce' :p, and IMO...the 'LightForce' rangers were actually pretty kick-ass, but the villains sucked.

Out of them all, 'Power Rangers In Space' was de BEST!

They may be corny now, but the first Power Rangers movie was done quite well! I can still watch it today, and it looks top-notch. The cast could actually act too!

The finale for 'Power Rangers in Space' should've been the end for the entire Power Rangers saga. It felt right, IMO.

The voice of the Gold Ranger was Ryan Steele in VR troopers, and he was originally supposed to be a Power Ranger.

Went on to have a short lived country music career. Not too bad of a singer, in my opinion.

Well yeah, after Austin St. John took over. The original voice when he first appeared was Brad Hawkins.

In Ohranger, the King Ranger was a little kid. I think ten years old. There's a mystical, thousand year old deity type backstory for him though. I forget what it is.

Hells yeah I'm hyped for the season premier. The Dino Thunder "Hidden Episode" made it look really interesting, so it should be pretty cool to see.

I liked the original Black Ranger, Zack. He was cool, a pretty good martial artist, and an excellent dancer. Only Ranger I know who could bust a move and kick your ass at the same time!:D

I guess the white one was my fav just cause I liked his white tiger. The green would have been my second choice. I don't remember an orange one or a purple one though.

Jason, the first Red ranger will always be my favorite.
I'll tend to watch Power Rangers once in a while and no one tops Jason.

I quit watching the dreaded Power Rangers when I was 9 or 10.
I think i stopped right before Lost Galaxy.

Yeah, the poll is flawed but this thread was created four years ago when a couple of us were bored. Just appreciate it for what it is.

But I will say Tommy up untill he became a Tubro Ranger then they depowered him in Dino Rangers having teens be able to out fight him.

Dude, they were always trying to depower him. Tommy was always a one-man army and many episodes prove that. But, the show is about teamwork so they have to make him seem weak sometimes.

I actually checked out Dino Thunder when it premiered cause I wanted to see Tommy as a Power Ranger again. And, yeah, they made him seem weak sometimes but he did have his moments. Watch the episode "fight spirit" and you'll see some classic Tommy. He really proved he could still be a one-man army.

Yeah, I know he was such a badass. He even had his moments as a good guy. Remember when Lord Zedd (or whatever) froze everyone on Earth and they had to give up their coins in order to save everyone. But, this was after Tommy was on low resources. So he was technically no longer a Power Ranger and Jason kept his coin. Then, they brought him back since the rest of the Rangers didn't have their coins and he defeated the villains by himself.

I haven't seen the episode in a million years but I remember it was something like that.

I never saw that. Eveyone says its supposed to be the best. But. . .whatever! I was in middle school when Power Rangers came out and it was acceptable to watch it. I couldn't imagine in high school watching Power Rangers in Space and still having a social life. lol.

Kimberly wasn't my favorite character, but she was the hottest. Man. . .I was in middle school when this show premiered. You know how many teenage boys, including myself, jerked off to her? That's why I like her more than Kat. Cause she came at the right time. lol. She's still pretty hot, so I would hit that.

I voted red. However I was thinking of all the seasons and the Red Ranger is normally the cutest when he isn't rangered up.;) In terms of power and the first season the Green ranger because the rangers that are on the bad side are the most powerful.

Not just the Ranger on the bad side but the 6th Ranger. The only problem is that with every 6th Ranger (Jason as Gold Ranger included) they try to hard to copy the success of Tommy as the Green Ranger, but they are never successful. The reason is because 1) It comes to much across as a Tommy rip-off and 2) as the show has gotten older they have relied less on stock footage but during the first season of the show it was mostly stock footage. So, most scenes of Tommy as the Green Ranger is really his Japanese counterpart. So perhaps the cast and crew of the Sentai show did a much better job than the Americans.
