So basically I'm trying to get a collection going that represents 6 major factions:
- The JLA
- The JSA
- The Teen Titans
- The New GL Corps
- The Outsiders
- The Rogues Gallery

Along with a collection of Superman and Supergirl figures throughout the ages reflecting the evolution of these characters.

Its a work in progress and I'm about 70% done.

lol ya its a rare one. I found ONE at the Toronto Comic Con 2 weeks ago, one in the entire hugeass Con.

But Cons like that are great places to look for this stuff, I found Nightwing and Catwoman there too, also hard finds.

The hardest figure I ever had to find was Blue Beetle though, that figure was rare like 5 years ago. I had to buy the damn thing off Ebay and it was a tight race.

It came to almost 40 canadian, but thats okay. Its the final rare figure I needed...and it evens out cause I got the Superboy/Supergirl Silverage set for only 19 bucks on Ebay (its usually in the 40s in Comic Stores).

Through Im never attempting Ebay again, some ppl on there are crazy. Refreshing their bids every few seconds. Hardcore.

Not bad, not great. Thats just a decorative board in my room, the real one I use for tricks and stuff is in my garage, its alot thinner and pretty scratched up from many failed attempts at stupid tricks. I think I need to stop playing Tony Hawk Underground, warps my mind.

lol I'm more surprised I know so much intimate details about the DC timeline, continuity and characters so fast (Its quite complex), but thats mainly thanks to the DC Encyclopedia. Its a great book, defintely a great resource for hardcore DC fans. I feel like Brainiac after reading it, a responsitory of information.

And I wanted to get BB cause I have strong faith that he will rise from the grave very soon. Too many fans were dismayed at his death in Identity Crisis.

Like what? The DCD collecters tend to be an older audience who dont exactly play with toys anymore, just collect and display them.

Most of the superposable toy lines, like Marvel Legends, Street Fighter, Mezco's Hellboy, and other such toys that have joints that allow for dynamic poses and the like are also intended for and bought by older collectors who display them.

You do have a Supes and WW but the black/gray Batman (repainted silverage Batman fig), John Stewart and Aquaman would be great additions to you collection. TheJohn Stewart looks alot cooler than the first one, the Aquaman looks cooler than his orange shirt counterpart and the Batman looks damn cool since he's in black/gray costume.

Ya I've seen it. I like the original versions of Superman and WW better than the boxset, the differences are slight though.

Batman I wouldnt mind, but I still like Jim Lee's Hush Batman the best. The blue tends to almost glow with the blue lights in my room.

John Stewart isnt bad but he reminds me too much of the JL cartoon version there, with the blank eyes etc. I wanted the DCD original verison because he looks more human.

Aquaman..I prefer the classic version. I'm waiting for the Alex Ross version of Aquaman, coming out in a few weeks to add to my League. He looks the coolest IMO.

I also wish they didn't change the WW because the boxset WW doesn't have gold accents, they're yellow.

That trident staff is badass, thats the primary that I want the Alex Ross AC.

I hope Alex Ross makes Hawkman, then I'll definately get that. The 2006 IC version of Hawkman looks too cartoony.

Oh yeah, I already pre-ordered the Jonn Jonzz at my comic shop along with the Batman and Batgirl. The Jonn is great, he'll fit very nicely. And the Secret Files Bats is cool re-paint of HUSH Bats that I personally like since I'm more of a fan of the black/grey color combo. And the Batgirl because she looks damn nice and fit cool next to the SilverAge Bats I should be gettin'.

And I agree, the IC line do not mesh well at all with these figs. And the second wave of that line has some bad renditions of Flash, Black Canary and Batman. They all don't look the way they should.

What exactlyare the differences with the JLA Supes and WW and the boxset Supes and WW other than the paint schemes? I know WW has yellow instead of gold and Supes suit looks a darker shade of blue, but whats the difference with the heads?

I'm lovin' the boxset WW's slightly darker skin tone, a darker blue on the tights and new "warrior princess" head sculpt but the downside is the yellow in place of gold. Looks like I'll haveto do some repainting on my Boxset WW to give the gold instead of yellow accents.

The darker skintone is nice but I like the face of the original better. She looks prettier. The serious gameface is boxset WW isnt bad but I already have Sups and Bats looking mega serious, I want her to represent a lighter femine side of the triology.

Ya I chose glossy black. I like the shine it provides when using my blacklight. It makes it look like his whole body is illuminated. Its a cool effect.

Ah, I beat youto that one CrisisSupes. After you gave me that first Blue Beetle auction link I looked around and found that one too. I'm watching both, I'll wait until the last day to strike. :)

I did get some new figs today. Aside from 3 ML10 figs I got at Wal-Mart I got my 5 figs I got off ebay from the same seller. All the figs are great, but I'll be parting with one since I just got that JLA boxset. Here's what I got:

HUSH: Superman
HUSH: Catwoman
JLA: Superman
JLA: Atom
Secret Files: Mr. Freeze

Catwoman is damn nice and I was pretty suprised with Mr. Freeze. He was the only Secret Files Rogue I didn't have because I didn't like him but when these auctions from the same seller popped up I took a stab at him and got him for $12. Not too bad. He's alot better once he's outta the package and handled a bit. His Freeze Gun is very cool, but there should be a tube that connectsit to the "backpack" IMO. I'll probably cut off ML Deathlok's and use that one.

Hush Catwoman is a hot toy, I have her posed in a little lesbo action with Harley Quinn.

Hush Superman I may get....thinking of doing an All Superman collection showing the evolution of Superman.

JLA Atom and Supes are cool, JLA Supes in my favorite Supes toy....I strongly dislike the Alex Ross supes, suit is too dark and he looks too old.

I never got any Secret Files figures.. I already have too much Batman villians already, Im waiting for Alex Ross Parasite, Black Manta and 2006 Darkseid to add to my villians collection.

I'm also considering the Black Manta, his mask is just so damn cool lookin'. HUSH Supes is damn cool, but I mightbe trading it anyway. I have JLA Supes and the JLA boxset Supes. Two good Supes, even if they're damn near the same.

JLA Atom (and the little versions) is very cool. Better than expected.

As for the Secret Files Rogues, I have to get'em. My main purpose is Batman related figs so it works great for me. :)

Darkseid is going to be in the Micheal Turner/Jeph Loeb Superman/Batman Line for June 2006 also including Superman, Batman, Supergirl and Evil Supergirl.

Thats the one Im looking forward to the most!

His height is pretty consistent. With is helmet on, hes slightly taller, without it, hes about the same height as JLA Superman.

I scored some goods myself today.

I got my Ross JLA Batman and Black Manta, almost got Parasire too just because he's pretty crazy lookin'. Might get him later, they had 5-6 of him.

Also scored three other goodies (IMO), I have some pics uploading right now. Now, my camera is pretty crappy so they'll be blurry but you should get the idea.

I scooped up a loose Lobo on his bike (the Dawg fig is missing, but I finally have LOBO!) and I got Black Canary and Vandal Savage MOC.

If you want the Vadal Savage I'd be interested in trading him since I only got him for my DC villains section, but he's not a priority.

I can get Star Sapphire and Effigy also, and even a Max Mercury.

They're holding a Red Tornado for me, so when I go back I could get any of those. I might get Star Sapphire for myself, but if you want it just lemme know.

The Air Jordan 20's are nice, but they have an ankle strap that might hinder your already slothlike movement.

I recommend the Air Jordan 11 Lowtops. They won't hinder any ankle movement, are light yet sturdy and they even have some that have silver patent leather.

I do like his art, its good, but I prefer others like Jim Leefor instace.

As for the JLA Flash I just don't like the glittery look he has.
