Well the Champions League started again last night. I'm just wondering if any of you are watching it and if so who do you support in it? I was at my teams opening Champions league game last night Rangers v Porto and we got off to a great start, 3-2 and three points in the bag. I now have an extremely sore throat though.

Yeah but thats what everyone is saying but Inter still have the better team. I wish it was like the Cup Winners Cup winning day when Rangers had a team of just Scottish players. Ferguson was man of the match last night and he is Scottish so that just proves that Scottish players aint half bad

Milan's draw in the first game could've been avoided... we could've won if only the ref would've stopped the game as it was pouring rain. But that seemed like an excuse now... passed that.

I don't particularly like Chelsea, I just like Liverpool even less. It's crap because if a team is interested in a player then they have a fair price, but if Chelsea become interested in that sam player the price goes up so high that no one can afford him.

That's been happening to United for years. Soon as we show interest in someone their price doubles 'cos they know we can afford it & if we want him bad enough we'll pay it. Or at least we use to be able to afford it. :(

They're both softwares that stream live telecast of channels that appear on TV. Its not of the best quality as it keeps buffering everytime, so if you are able to see stuff on TV, I would recommend not using it. Anyways, since I dont have that luxury, I have to watch the streamed versions on my computer..
You can download them here,
http://www5.pplive.com/english/
Im not able to find the coolstreaming download links, sorry :( .. Jus google it and give it a try..
Anyways, after downloading and installing them, you will get a list of channels. I head to the Inter forums to see which channel is showing my match and I just need to double click on that channel and I watch the game on Windows media player.. Nice and easy! ;)

Currently Rangers are top of their group with 3 points, 3 goals for and two against. Next they play Inter but behind closed doors so no fans will be there, then the play Artmedia Bratislava at home, then away, then they play Porto away and then Inter at home. Please tell me what games you think they will win/draw/lose and tell me if you think this can be the first time in the clubs history that they can get past the group stage of the champions league. I personally think they will lose against Inter away 3-0, Beat Bratislava at home 3-0, beat them away 2-1, lose against Porto 1-0 and draw with Inter at home 1-1 to get 10 points and hopefully go through.

What i don't understand is that when Rangers win everyone including their own fans critisise the team, they say things like oh they didnt play very well but were just lucky and oh they need to defend better, yes we were lucky but we beat Porto, a very good team. However when Celtic played Barcelona, at home they scored their only shot of the game and barcelona missed some very good chances, and away Hartson scored an offside goal to make the score 1-1. After this people who didnt even support the club were congratulating Celtic and saying that luck was on their side and because of this deserved to win, I just don't understand why no one at all that supports anyone else actually likes Rangers. A Hibs fan the other day was trying to tell me that Kyrgiakos was in the box because he didn't know what he was doing and he should have been defending but both of Portos goals were scored by a defender.

How exactly are Chelsea doing so well..Is it the coach or is it the money they have to bring in players?
If its the money as is the case now, Inter have been spending hundreds of millions on so many great players over the last 10 years and still we havent got any real success to say the least.. Same goes for Real Madrid too, and they are not doing well at all for the last couple of seasons:( :down
Chelsea did all of that in just one season with a change of coach and lots of new players in the squad who havent played together as a team for quite some time.. So im guessing no matter how many expensive and great players you have in your squad, it all depends on how the coach gels them together and develops them as a team in how much ever time he may have..

I am baffled by Real. They have the some of the best strikers in the world and yet... they are not doing as well as expect. Sure, they beat MLS "All-Star" by 6-0 but that's peanuts.
Anyway, I think it all boils down to the coach.

In both cities mentioned, you could get by. But it helps to know basic Italian and have a phrase book with you. :)

well when you think your unbeatable and then get schooled it's going to shake your confidence. arsenal are very much a confidence based team. they start a good run and then their football gets better and better, then they might get over confident or just get beat by a team with belief in themselves aswell who aint going to roll over.

Which is why I want to see Chelsea have abit of a losing streak. It'll be interesting to see how the team deal with it when it's been so use to winning.

i think chelsea are far more business like. they aint the kind of team to fold. but you can have better form than them. you can beat them in the games you play against them getting you 6 points back. and they are as suseptable to luck as any other team. so some wonder goals are going to force a draw or loss for them.

Their transfer market was really the worst ever.. Hardly any good reinforcements in defence and more forward signings when they really didnt need it.. And whats more, they let go off their wingers, Figo and Solari, and their CD Samuel to Inter..Not that Im complaning :D
I think Inter have bought the most no. of players from Real..Cambiasso, Samuel, Solari, Figo etc.. And the best part is, theyre actually playing better since theyv'e moved

Well basically, he was clapping at the official for showing him a yellow card and I think he did it when the ref was looking at him.. Even Alex Fergie said he couldnt argue for Rooney's case, coz no one applauds an official when he books you..
Though I think a 2 game penalty is a bit too harsh..Should have kept it to a game and some fine at the max

I'm a Man utd fan, every player knows if you do what Rooney did and well outcome will be redcard, you don't do that when you been booked and Rooney should grow up he nearly cost us the match.
