Thanks...however not intentional, the outfit is a motorcycle outfit so it has reflectors. So when a flash is used you get that effect.

I don't see how that was confusing, but it's okay maybe it was..

So my point is that someone like Rogue is like Shania Twain, dressing sexy from time to time, but it's an actual outfit that would have actual purpose. Supergirl is wearing what is probably closest to a Sailor scout's attire. Good point....However, I feel that the stockings and general design of her outfit is supposed to look like an exotic/erotic dancer. Have you ever tried to run in high heels, it's not very easy and serves no purpose to a martial artist.

Even WW, who, by today's standards are okay...was designed by a dude with all kinds of fetishes. It was not a clean and family friendly design.

Like if Black Canary were a guy, I feel they would have designed the same character with full color, full leggings or a body suit, his boots would not have "high heels", and it would be more conservative. My initial point was that Supergirl's attire is scandalous.

Theoretically all of the attire is both inappropriate and appropriate, useful and useless...As it's the imagination. So arguing that point may be moot, though if we compare Superman to Supergirl, why is she so revealing and he is not?

Let's not play coy here...Her design has gotten more and more risque. Her skirt, shorter and shorter. And yes, it depends on the artist, but the question has been raised before. If we deny the obvious sexuality that the artists use, we're just playing around.

That comment was a joke. I was not speaking as me saying "Supergirl is a ho." I was inferring that's what people would say if she were real. Hence talking to "Kal-El", whom, incase you forgot, is not real. However, I feel that outfit is, in fact ridiculously absurd for what the character is doing.

Helping people around the world does not change that you are doing something questionable in attire which reflects other things. Christina has donated lots of money and helped charities, because she did this, has the media stopped making similar accusations?
