I'm in the Sek temple, inside the Pyramid of Apocalypse. I have to get through this cracked wall to continue on my way, and it will not break.

I have gone back, and gone through the Labrynth, the mouth of Ra, and Temple of Anubis.

I have explored every part of this level, yet I cannot break this one wall, that is CRACKED.

I've tried every character, including even trying to teleport past it with NIghtcrawler. Nothing.

And for the record, there is no marker on my minimap even, telling me where to go. Quite literally, it seems as if I am completely stuck. I am honestly begining to wonder if this is a game flaw.

Oh, and of course to realign the mirrors, I've alligned the one in Anubis's temple already.

Those Jars Align one of the mirrors if im not mistaken. If you have aligned the one in Anubis temple, you have to go to the other temple. I think if when you first enter the pyramid, from the part where Prof.X and company are. You take a left and go that way

Back to the temple. You should have two other mystic stones by then, place them in their places at the shrine. Then you'll advance to the next stage.

And what left are you talking about? The only two exits I have from the teleporation chamber are the teleporter itself, and "Ra's Mouth"

I've literally got the entire thing mapped out, from the mouth of Ra to the Sek temple, every single area I have looked through. The only place I can't get through is a cracked wall, that leads to the other side, it won't let me bust it. Its in an area with two small endless pits.

Shocker, I don't know WHERE to put them. I've looked everywhere, there is no place for me TO put them, if there was, I WOULD. I suspect it is behind the wall that will not break.

The only thing I remember is that they were in a room, that I had to break no wall to get there. I just walked into that part of the area. And I dont think there was nothing that marked them, I just walked up to this stone basket looking thing. And it said hit "x button to place jars" or something. I hope you figure it out, bc this is buggin me that I cant remember........Can someone help this fellow Superhero Hyper out, bc the only thing I really remember about the Jars. Is the stone basket looking thing.

The teleport move that you can assign actually hits an opponent as opposed to just teleporting like 2x tapping jump.

Yeah...at first i thought they had made Storm into a weak character for this game..but the melle is on her punches...as she gets stronger it shows...same for Scarlet Witch...and her lightning effect is different now..instead of the lightning effect evolving into the chain lightning...they are two different attacks now and the chain lightning comes out of Storm now and its kinda...meh...still love the character tho.

I found two cave entrances that lead to the same underground cavern. What do I do in here?

I have Wolvie at the same level as Mags. He has been unstoppable. I have pumped every skill point into his healing factor and his enhanced senses. So...his powers are at entry levels...but with his healing and the bonus you get for enhanced senses he has been an animal.

I havent toyed with that yet. I have been auto leveling the attributes. The only ones I messed with in the first XML were Nightcrawler (gave him more striking) and Wolverine (more strike, less focus).

Someone said sometihng about a bonus if you use all four players in there same uniforms (i.e. all in AOA gear). What is the bonus? Is that the health boost when it says "New X Men"?

How do you finish the Danger Room mission when you're protecting Havok? That mission is impossible! The Hell Hounds keep respawning right beside him and Havok gets killes after only four or five Hound attacks. :mad:

oh yeah..that one WAS difficult. i used sunfire, iceman, storm and cyclops...move quickly. use either icemans extreme attack to freeze everything and buy u some timeto get havok pushed up against the wall or up the steps. have him against the wall either way then stand infront of him with sunfire and hold on for dear life. use sunfire's flaming sword...that will swat the evildoers away that come close and try and take the hits from the energy projectiles...make sure u have health packs going into it.

So I was playing with friends so we never did the Danger Room missions, so I was alone now and went to do them and I'm in act four and my characters are so powerful, that I can't do some of the danger room missions! For example, the team combo thing, no matter what my characters do, they kill the bugs with one hit, so it's not possible for any of them to combo, they just die too quickly!!! Ugh now I'll never get Xavior!

Yeah, the combos are tough. I'd suggest using all ranged characters. I used Cyke, Iceman, Sunfire and Bishop, for example. It's all about knowing how fast your other characters will be to use their powers and try to time it right.

You can definitely time the "ranged" characters attacks better than the juggernaut's power blows. It took me an hour just to complete 8/10 combos (not even 10/10), but once I learned the timing I finally got it done.

It's funny too, because the stronger I got I noticed that the "voice over" wasnt yelling out "COMBO" as much as on the 1st game. I had already thought to myself that they must have changed the combo timing in the game... I was right!

So I have a question. We're in Act 4. And it seems like we've gone through every single area and we can't get into the green glowy door thing that says we could if we looked like infinites. I don't know how to get into that door. And if it has anything to do with orange beacons, we only have three out of four. One from the sewers, one was in the corner of some street, and the other I don't remember. So we've basically just been going around the West and South sides looking for something to do and can't find anything. We've already done the other mission with Bastion, and within the mission we're doing, we've already beat Stryfe, so we have no clue what to do.

What's up with Wanda's Healing power? I'm afraid to put any more points on it, as the next level doesn't seem to improve the healing rate or the duration of the boost. It just says it uses up more EP.

I started to play mine on my friends Xbox, and in Act 4 it froze about 5 or 6 times. I found out that I could pass without it freezing by dropping the items I wasnt using. Maybe that will help you.

Ok let's rewind. There are Data Discs, Homing Beacons, and Tech stations. On stage 2 (Savage lands) I only found 5 of 6 Tech Stations. I've searched the canal, the jungle, and that ever lovin Temple of "freakin" doom for over an hour and cannot find the sixth! I've seen lists out here for Data Discs (or Homing Beacons) But I haven't seen anyone list the Tech Stations (what do they do BTW?). Can anyone help?

Somewhere in this Area is a Pillar with a little flame burning right at the bottom of it. You have to extinguish the flame and the pillar will lower, revealing the 6th and last Tech station.

Thanks but that wasn't what was happening. Wow, it sounds like that part of the game is a little buggy. :down

With the XBox version, I saved a game in Act 5 Teleportation Chamber and it simply won't load from either the main screen or the in game load menu. 6 hours of game play down the drain. :hulk:

Edit: ARGH, it happened again today. I think that the XBox version has a save game corruption bug when you save your game in the Teleportation Chamber with a full inventory...empty your inventory before you save there just to be safe.

Screw that Tech station, it took me ages to find it as well... you know what makes it worse, I destroyed every rock, bolder, vase, beat down the walls checking for secret passages,(can you imagine the amount of time alone) everything but paying attention to some stinkin flame!!!

I found a helpful glitch for the last boss fight with Apocalypse.

Spoilers







When you have to fight Apocalypse and the Four Horsemen, run to one of the generators you just destroyed, Apocalypse will go there and stay. This allows you to fight the Horsemen without Apocalypse chasing you around and kicking your ass. Once all the Horsemen are dead, run to Apocalypse and he will follow you back to the main room.

Try to get nothing but Batter Up combos. Play as a character who can throw, and throw enemies at your teammates. That's how I've been beating the combo lessons.

Does anyone else have this problem? I have X-men Legends 2 on gamecube, and every once in a while it will freeze and make this really loud buzzing noise. Its starting to happen a lot more and its pissing me right the f**k off, to the point where i'm about to smash my head through the t.v. screen.

I just started having this problem in Act 3. It has happened twice in about 15 minutes. I'm about ready to through the damn thing out the window. Does anyone know what the glitch is, so I can try to avoid it... like the plague.

I've been having an entirely different glitch. In the Madri Temple, whenever I try to fly with Jean in certain rooms, she gets stuck in the air. I can't move, ascend, or descend. All I can do is flying melee and turn. And whenever I try to use her dive, she gets stuck in mid-air in the diving pose.

This is happening to me too with more and more frequency...and i have the Xbox version.....how do i get this to stop? DAMMIT it is pissing me the hell off too!1 I am doing my second play thru with Xavier Deadpool iron Man and special guest star(any of the 15 playbles u start off with) and it keeps freezing me. I cleaned my system with a disk cleaner but the game STILL freezes..what the ehll? I dropped every item i was not using.....maybe i should drop them all? help!?!?!? anyone!!!

I know what to do. It appears if you drop unneccessary items, you can continue without freezing. Try to drop level 5-20 items, and you should be able to go on.

It's the Hero stash(sp?). I've read on a few gamefaqs Threads that the game freezes stopped once they cleared out their Hero Stash.

If you have up to 20, it doesn't pose a problem. But if you have 30 items and more it'll start freezing.

i hope this is a bug and not a joke. on pc, i tried to use nightcrawler's 'disappearing act' ability. as soon as i pressed it, the screen went black for a split second and the next thing i knew the game was gone and i was back to desktop. i havent tried using it again. is that supposed to happen?

Im new the the Forums :)
Just a quick problem which I asked the Sctivision support, but had no luck, I am having troubles with the online game (for X-Men Legends 2: PC CD-ROM Version). Everytime I try to connect, it either says the session has ended, or that I cannot connect to the host. It does it to EVERY host thats available, so I doubt it's a server-side problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I tried everything, including turning off my firewall and anti-virus, aswell as disconnecting any LAN routes I had connected (which I havnt had connected since I installed the game).

ive only played online a few times and i have encountered that problem also. i thought it was my firewall but didnt bother to turn it off. i was able to connect to a host for a danger room game tho, so i doubt its a firewall issue. if youre on a network where youre playing, try running the cable/dsl line directly into your pc instead of thru the router. i'm not great with tech stuff but i noticed after i set up a network at home i started having problems with people not being able to connect to me thru AIM to send me files, etc.

I did a little thinking about New Game + on Hard mode, and figured "F[bleep] this sh[bleep]!" I'm going back to my first game, Xtracting back to previous missions, and power-leveling. If the first level of Hard mode is going to throw level 50 goons at me, I'm reaching level 60 with somebody.

But why would you drop characters in order to catch others up? Why not just put Jean (per your example) in with your heavies. She won't catch up, but you will level them all up.

That's what I've been doing lately, but I just still want her around the same level, as for some reason she dies alot faster even if her Health is high and she has good armor.

Oh, now this is just funny. I played the entire game without freezing; not even once. I played it, beat it, and started playing a new game again. I go back to my old game, power-level for about 3 hours, and the game freezes on me for the first time.

Nah, its been fixed. All you have to do is keep your hero stash on the low side. Not a big problem. Just an annoyance.

I had the same problem, and was missing one of the statues. I ended up running through the whole temple again and found out I just didn't head down one of the passageways.

There should be a generator in the sewers. Use Bishop or Rogue to drain it of power, and the fan should shut off. That, or Storm can shock the generator with lightning.

Hi i am stuck, firstly i am at the part where i must return the mind artefact to the Madri Antechamber, but simply can't open the door leading to the red cross(objective). I tried using nightcrawler, storm etc but no use. Secondly where is the Divine Sanctuary, can't locate it. At what level can i see Gambit having multiple cards, i leveled him up to level 28 but yet his card shuffle move has only one card, same as for iceman only one ice shard.

Are you using your Skill Points manually, or did you set your levelling up to "auto"? Everytime you level up, you get one skill point that you can use to upgrade your attacks. If you set the game to automatically distribute that point, it could be improving an attack you don't like.

the temple's are a bit of a *****, it took me ages to realise that i hadnt placed all the frigging stones where they needed, best thing to do is to check your objectives, and then maybe auto map to search the map manually for any red areas you havent uncovered and any red arrows pointing you to unrevieled places. you might have to go back a few areas to find what you've missed, once you've placed all the stones, the wall will break open and only then you will be able to carry on

Yup i think i set the skill points to auto accidently, how to change it back to manual? Also i have another big problem something that i suspect is a glitch. I am at the part where i must find the Radar Array on the Radar Array platform, i have already protected Charlie Kilroy from all the sentinal attacks and killed of them,but under objectives i am still seeing "Protect Charlie Kilroy" being highlighted. Under my map there are 3 red crosses, The first one is a teleport console but can't activate, i am getting a message saying "You must complete mission objectives first" The second one also can't be activated. The 3rd one has a blue shield surrounding the console, but can't deavtivate it. I had been trying for hours to locate the Radar Array but to no avail, and unfortunately had to exit without saving. I suspect this is a glitch. Any PSP owner facing this similar problem?

I can't help you with your second problem, since I don't own a PSP and it might just be a PSP problem. However, if the PSP is anything like the console version, you should be able to change your leveling system to manual on the menu where you change your character's stats/equipment/skills. It should be right there, above the Aggressive/Normal/Defensive setting. Also, you can reset all of your skill points by going to Forge, to arrange them however you want.

Hop into the Sewers in front of the X-Mansion. After wading your way through the sewers, you should exit on New York's South Side.

Well, since you're just beginning, try using Iceman. He deals a lot of damage early on in the game, and his first attack slows enemies down so they'll attack you less. Beyond that, it's up to you. Pick any 3 people you want.

If you haven't played the opening mission yet, then you should know that you'll start the game off as Magneto, Storm, Wolverine, and Cyclops automatically. Any of them make great additions to any party.

Finish all your Danger room trainings and unlock Deadpool, Iron man, and professor Xavier. This way you will be able to play as them the next time through). Save the game at an Xtraction point. Then hit the start button and go down to end game. End your game and then re-start the game. When you get to the Game menu select start new game, a box will appear and ask you do you want to load saved game stats, select "yes". Then you will be able to load the stats from ANY game you've saved from your previous play (so you probably will want to load the one with the most XP time).

You will probably have more fun playing it on the hard level, but that's up to you.

The hell they should've! In Hard mode alone, all of your resistances go down to -24, bad guys are up to 20 levels higher than you, and they drop an insultingly small amount of experience points.

i have finally come across the room in "holding pens" where the 2 guys keep respawning for hours on end, i think i have come up with the best team just for this room (apart from this room you can go back to your usual team). the team to use is:

Magneto
Cyclops
Gambit
Your Own Choice (i have Deadpool)the reason for this team is as follows: my characters are roughly on level 54, for each kill i get 554(est.), when Magneto is included i get another 500 or so points added on for combo's as i have Magneto's Leadership on full, as Cyclops has Leadership aswell, this also adds onto the combo, i dont have cyclops' leadership to full yet, but its boosted the combo bonus fromm 500 to 1500 just by having another leadership! i also use gambit just for the sole purpose of "Prince Of thieves", asfor 45seconds, with every kill you get credits/health/armour garanteed, aswell as the occaisional xtreme credit to help you do it again. the last character can be whom ever you choose to level up the fastest! when your inventory is full you then sell to forge for more credits! easy!

^ Honestly I found that Jean Grey/Cyclops adds a TON of Exp points for fighting those two guys. I would just add two other people to the team and "Level up" these characters to a certain point. Then stop and go get two more and do it all over again.

I did this for several hours and took my entire team (even people I didnt use)from level 29 to level 40/41 (except for Jean and Cyke, they were level 50's of course).

... not to mention when you go back to switch your teammates you can dump ALL of your pick-up items by selling them to Forge (even the ones your team is wearing). Then just pick up a ton of new ones when you go back in.
Needless to say I have a ba-zillion dollars in tech points.

Deadpool as they are all around the level 60 mark (give or take 2) i am seeing if they can fend for themselves as i have taken control of Magneto and got him to float continusly in a place he cant be hit(often), so far it seems to be working but its not as fast as it could be with me fighting aswell, Deadpool still has full HP and EP, Bishop has stayed far enough away he can auto fire everyone, cyclops is stunning everyone as soon as they generates! im tempted to let it run over night and see where it is in the morning

well when i woke up everyone had died! not really that suprising as i came across a few bugs. if you stand still long enough(normally about a couple of minutes) the enemy respawns but you cant see them however the computer does and shoots at them, but because you cant, eventually your team just stands there with you and gets shot at 99% of the time!

By the way, you won't find the Mask of Xorn in the first Legends game until right before you fight Master Mold, which is a total waste.

what ive also noticed, is that when you open up a chest or get amour from a guy, it'll always be for a character thats not on your team, i played as magneto for an entire game, from start to finish, as soon as he's off my team i get armour for him - why is this?

I checked GameFAQs for codes, and I found this amazing little ditty...

Reach level 99 by going to the Character Select screen and pressing:

I tried it, and it was the most beautiful thing ever. I finally got my least used characters to be unbelievably powerful. I didn't save though. I'm still at the beginning of Act 5, and I'm saving that lvl99 code for my next play through the game.

I checked GameFAQs for codes, and I found this amazing little ditty...

Reach level 99 by going to the Character Select screen and pressing:
Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Up, Left, Right, Start

I tried it, and it was the most beautiful thing ever. I finally got my least used characters to be unbelievably powerful. I didn't save though. I'm still at the beginning of Act 5, and I'm saving that lvl99 code for my next play through the game.

Yep. I found the code under the Xbox section at GameFAQs. It works for the PS2.

99 is the highest. After that, you're still going to have a lot of character skills empty. You're just going to have to be strategic with where you place those points.

However...

You can buy skill points from Forge/Beast. The price increases everytime you buy them, but that can be solved with the above-mentioned code to make a quick 100,000 techbits. Just enter that code when you're in Forge's store, buy a skill point, enter the code, buy a skill point, ect.

I just did the code again, and it turned off.
Those cheats are great, but the good thing is that even if you use all those cheats, if you're playing on hard difficulty, the enemies are still pretty difficult so it doesn't get boring

Thanks a lot for these codes, to whoever posted them. I put them in just before the Sentinel/Security Platform level, and protecting that S.H.I.E.L.D agent was no sweat when I could "PHOENIX FORCE!" over and over!

I'm on my second playthrough for PSP and my dudes are at level 60...which is good for where i'm at. The enemies are still hard sometimes...but thats what makes the game fun...remember?

The directions in the codes are the ones used to switch characters.

Thanx, I think. I did get the one door open but there were bars in the way and nightcrawler wouldn't teleport in.

I might try some more tonight.

I used the cheats to get the extra players, though I already had Ironman. My top 4 guys are all at almost level 50. I think that's good.

Just got XML2 for Christmas, whats are the secriet characters? And you ot any screens of them? Also who are the best characters to use?

The secret characters for the PS2 version are Iron Man, Deadpool and Prof X.

The PSP version has the same + 4 additional characters. Cable, X-Man, Cannonball and Dark Pheonix.

As for Liz, you have to use apocalypse's power thing, and then while you are still glowing, you will be able to run right through the bars and break them. then you destroy the two generators and finally, beat apocalypse and the 4 horsemen.
