Nancy Callahan. Not only is she quite the hottie but she is a really strong character, one who does not allow the cruel wicked city she lives in ruin who she really is. She wears her heart on her sleeve no matter what. Oh yeah, and she's so hot.

Nancy was very one dimensional and generic, she won't be a good character until she goes after Senator Rourke for revenge.
Most of the Nancy votes are based primarily on "oh she's so hot!" which may be true, but it doesn't make someone a good character.

Heck yeah homie! She really didn't do anything impressive, she got captured and then rescued.

Miho on the other hand kicked so much arse on her own, more than any other female in the movie. So Miho gets my vote.

I feel the best "character" includes EVERYTHING: looks, action, dialog, acting, etc.

Miho had great action scenes. Devon did a fantasic job. But that was about it for her. No dialog.
Rosario did a great job and was probably the most developed female character.
The rest were good, but too small a role to count, except for..... you guessed it:

Alba as Nancy. It's an iconic role, simple as that. The chaps. The leather bikini. The lasso. The body. Just the dancing scene alone puts Alba as Nancy over the top, simple as that. Pure Sex, as the Irish would say. The fact that the Nancy character bookends the movie also adds to the importance of her. Not be overlooked is the fact she is just a strong as Gail, in her own way. The Yellow Bastard and Sin City in general cannot break her. Her love for Hartigan is so pure, it gets her through anything, and makes her pure and strong, a lone flower in a dung-strewn world.

I agree her character is somewhat limited, but not one-dimensional. She is a law expert, an exotic dancer, and dabbles in guns (kicks like a mule) and cars (I'm the only one who can keep this heap running). She also knows Marv well enough to grab as many beers as she can for him out of the fridge. (that was a funny little addition... Marv must have a horse-sized liver)

But I agree that new "revenge" Nancy will have a whole new side.
