Making the rest of the picture black and white was a good move. Most of the manips of that pic look quite gaudy. That at least looks a bit gritty.

The fact that HB2 doesn't really have a studio yet.

Revolution Studio went under, Sony dropped it, and Paramount is unsure of it, considering it didn't make a huge profit.

I don't think it needs a tagline. I'm not a marketing exec. Rather than making up one that sounds cheesy. I'd rather not waste my time with it! lol But I can slim the bats ears. I actually forgot about that. I had so many layers to keep track of.

For those that like my manip, I cleaned it up a little bit, particularly the top of the lightning, some boundaries of original source pics in the middle were being seen, now it's seemless, the top part of the lightning is now more defined, I changed the glow of the logo to something less ordinary and I spread out the title a bit more. :)

I think batman looks bad @$$ with the glowing eyes....I think they could do a bio luminecent contact that goes from looking normal in the light to glowing bright in the dark...It would add to batman's intimadation level and it would give him an advantage in the dark...As well as giving him the ability to squint his eyes...just my thoughts

Actually, read the 'Ultimate Guide to Batman' released by DC Comics themselves a year or so back. It clearly says Batman has lenses installed in the cowl. :p

Fake teeth, a little bit of a hook nose, elongate his chin a bit and you're good. Some people argue that prosthetics get in the way of the performance but I dont buy that. Just look at Nicole Kidman in the Hours, Jim Caviezal in the Passion of the Christ, or Ben Affleck as George Reeves in Hollywoodland. The right makeup team can acheive the Joker look while stayin subtle and realistic.

Other than the obvious DKR influence, I wanted it to invoke the look and feeling of the cover to the WB trade version of Year One.

I had inteded the bar to contain the title, but didn't like the way any text looked, but I liked the bar so i kept it.

I have to say the symbol and color scheme are really amazing. The rest of the poster needs to be polished.

Might I suggest lowering the bat symbol and cleaning up the top. I'd get rid of the cast names and making batman bigger.

Thats just me being nit-picky. Really great job though.

Your design is nice, but seems inconsistent because it seems to be based on the Begins emblem which has more sharp edges than curves. I certainly like the layout of your poster and would love to see one with the Begins emblem in a different and darker color (like dark grey) :up:

hey guys....this is a bit off topic and not sequel art.......but that image above gave me an idea.....

In the opening of BB, we have the swarm of bats forming the bat symbol, with the golden red dusk background.

Now.......on the DVD, the intro sequence on the menu screen has that same scene, with a different color scheme.......a bluish silver to represent night........

So....do you guys and gals think we will have that bat swarming sequence ( against the bluish silver "night" background ) at the beginning of TDK?

Kind of like how Spiderman 2 had the same web-strand intro sequence as Spiderman 1, but with different colors......

Hey guys, im basically a noob at Photoshop so here's sort of my first attempt at making Scarlett Johansson into Harley Quinn....i was trying to go for a more realistic approach rather than actually having her run around in a harlequinn costume so what i did was just recolor the outfit to the same color scheme, add pale white make up with black eye make up/lipstick and then just added the diamonds as a costume decor....lOl...enjoy...
