um alot of people tell me its too early for robin, I am thinking maybe the joker kills his parents and in the end Gordon introduces Robin to Batman saying "Batman, you have begun to influence others" he then looks to robin. Well I guesse it could fit. And about the mob wars theory maybe one Joker could dump acid on the mob war happening in a factory from a balcony. Almost everybody dies and 2 face (I forget his real name) is one of the main henchmens of the one mob family, and it shows him running out screaming. I got a cool talking thing for the end.

Gordon: "The war isnt over yet Batman"
Batman: Cms. the Joker's dead.
Gordon: Ex DA, Harvey Dent is at large.
Batman: He died! I witnessd it.
gordon turns on TV inside the Police Van and shows him running out of the factory screaming.
Gordon: This war has had many influences on people, to think about others, to keep fighting hard. Take this little guy for example.
*flicks on TV again, shows Robin being brought in*
Gordon: His Parents were killed after the circus. He has fallowed in your footsteps and has no family. Perhaps-
Batman: He's not staying with me.
Gordon: I was going to ask about your friend Bruce. Maybe he could take the boy in.
*Batman looks over to the bench and sees Robin sitting accompanied by an officer*
Batman: Bruce doesn't like children.
Gordon: But his butler Alfred has already arrived.
*Alfred looks at him and winks then takes the boy with him*
Gordon: he took down some henchmen in the factory by himself. 5 exactly.
Batman: Then I will be watching his career with interest.
*He flies off*

Wow, asteroid, for the record, if your gonna have the awdacity to gloat about these works, you should be prepared to take criticism too. And for paint.....those are pretty bad. No offense intended. I mean, it looks like u slapped them together. The 'Smile' poster is by far my favorite.

And Asteroid - as far as storylines go, please please please, do NOT write any letters to the WB suggesting they follow that. Cuz if they were dumb enough to listen, the Batman franchises would be destroyed FOREVER.

If you post them you have to expect critism. I can deal with the other ones (Joker, Two Face), in really low quality, its paint I understand. Stuff like that Mr. Freeze,however, is horrible even on paint standards.

maybe if you take out robin in your poster and try and do a good harvey dent it might just be good. And try to make the joker alittle darker.

People have the general idea of what you're trying to show, but there's no variety. It's all just a silly catch-phrase and a Bat-symbol with some unprofessional elements.

People just don't like your work or your ideas for the franchise or continuity very much. I'd just suggest you get Photoshop and start practicing and people might take your story ideas more seriously if you make them look good.

The whole idea of a Robin is one of the bigger mistakes in the Batman canon IMO. Why in the world would a dark brooding figure take along a snot nose kid in a bright red and gree costume along with him to fight crime?

I think the 'smile' theme would work better if Joker were holding a pic of Batman, and drew a smile on him with red lipstick or something. That little splotch of whatever there doesn't fit. I'm very frustrated by the fact that most of the Batman stock shots are all of the same poses, frontal-posing images that really don't offer any variety in creative poster making. I've been searching to death for a top-down back-view shot of Batman, so I can have him imposing over the city, or perhaps some more variation of the cape flapping or at least a shot where he's looking down or grim because in most of these shots Bale is looking straight forward without any real expression at all. No real iconic or dynamic Batman poses to work with.

wow, i like that one a lot. My only problem is the two tiny burns on his "good side". The one on his forehead is alright, but not the one on his cheek. I can't see how the acid would cover that entire side of his face, and a little spot on the opposite side, and nothing in between. Other than that, amazing manip. That's how I want to see two-face in the next film.

It may be possible to do it wiv prosthertics, make-up has come along way since Batman Forever. They might be able to fold back the actors lip and build the deformed lip over it and insert some false teeth. or go the T3 way and use a mix of green screen under the make-up then track it in later on. i guess we'll have to see wot happens.
and the eye is supposed to look kinda hazed over :)

That's very smart. It kinda looks as if the acid has cancelled the nerves connected to that side of his face. Like a stroke victim but done in such a way that it gives off a sinister look. :up:

Well its not perfectly symmetrical, the scarring crosses over partly to the other half of the forehead chin and nose. He wouldnt be TwoFace if he didnt have one good side and one disfigured side. Harvey did manage to protect some of his face in the incident.

Also, I wouldn't expect him to have an extremely warped looking face. My guess is that the burned side of his face will just be scarred looking. Some people hoping for a melted away looking CG monster shouldn't hold their breath. But it's OK with me, because I welcome a different approach.

I do however agree with some of the others that perhaps Harveys scars should be noticable but not extreme, and then show his view of himself as being more towards the disfigurement in the comics.

Check out Ed Harris from History of Violence. I think that we could expect something along these lines for Two-Face, except alot more and all over the left side of his face.

An overly scared, oozing, bloody face is not something they'll put in this film, they still need the young child audience and it'll be a PG film. The manips in this thread are so well done, they make me feel a little sick just looking at them. I don't think WB will want kids seeing that.

The problem is just as much with his mind as it is with his face, so I don't see why we need to have it look like his face got turned inside out. Just some scarring to mar his face with will be more than effective enough to get the job done.

I thought I read a Two-Face comic that stated that explicity. Dent had grown up fighting to repress his mental problems, eventually finding the best cure was to focus that dedication with the law and becoming a prosecutor. But after the acid, he went the other way.

Do a Google image search for Acid Burn and you come up with some truly horrifying images much worse than the 2 Face manips posted here.

Yeah, I know, I did it already. But you can't have a Two Face that's so nasty that it distracts from the movie.

Looked more like you used the texturizer in photoshop or the craquelure tool.

Neither. After I was done with the basic stuff I used a very slight Stucco to give the scars/pock marks depth.
