Other then the BANG gun in the comics, this was definetly a cool gun in the movies

i think the gun was rolled up but when he took it out of his pants it "extended".

that dont sound right.

Actually if you notice after that Scene you can see the Joker push the Gun back to Normal when they are going up the Stairs.

I thought the Jokers long-barreled gun was retarded when I was six. Since then the gun *and* myself have grown considerably less cool.
