The WB's Official Description for "Exposed"

GOOD OLD BOY TOM WOPAT REUNITES WITH DUKES OF HAZZARD CO-STAR JOHN SCHNEIDER Clark (Tom Welling) and Jonathan (John Schneider) are thrilled when Jake Jennings (guest star Tom Wopat), Jonathan oldest friend, rolls into the Kent farm looking for their support in his campaign for re-election to the senate. However, after a young girl named Melissa (guest star Sarah Mutch) turns up dead, it is revealed that she was a stripper and Jennings mistress, which makes him the prime suspect. Searching for answers, Chloe (Allison Mack) convinces Lois (Erica Durance) to go undercover as a stripper, but things take a dangerous turn when Lois gets kidnapped by a diplomatson (guest star Woody Jeffreys) who intends to sell her into slavery.

Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, John Glover and Annette OToole also guest star.

Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders wrote the episode directed by Brad May

Here is the TV Guide "Exposed" Description

"Tom Wopat makes a guest appearance as a state senator---and old friend of the Kents---who is linked to the murder of an exotic dancer (Sarah Mutch). The woman told Chloe she had a big story, but was killed before she could pass on any details."

He was the first Anubis, when you couldn't see his face. The reason they changed actors after anubis' face was shown, was because her husband also played Sokar during the hell planet arc.

They didn't want to have to explain why Anubis' face looked like Sokar.:)

Maybe I'm complaining when SV is an elseworld's tale. The stuff you have to accept are things crammed in at an earlier age than what Superman fans are used to have seen for Clark/Supes. He's not Superman yet but here he is hanging with Lex, Lois, Perry, and out and about in Metropolis. GAH

Just SV I guess

They take alot from the silver age comics. During that time Lex did live in Smallville and knew Clark, he did meet lois, and periodically ventured into Metropolous. So alot of what they do is from the comics. :)

You are saying that he has to be Superman to hang out with these people, but I was showing that he did hang out with these people at an early age when he wasn't Superman. So its not Smallville only, they are taking from the comics ideas and not making it up themselves.

and your ignoring the fact that my issue with you isnt your like/dislike for the episodes, it's the pointless comments that are unrelated to the threads which are put there for the sole purpose of trying to stir things up. Unless of course you can explain to me what exactly 'Tom being flabby" (which he clearly isnt) had to do with Aqua or Smallville not being "in Real continuity" (as if such a thing existed) has to do with Exposed??

Your other comment about things being "Filler" dont make any sense either since we havent had a "filler" episode yet this season

In Aqua ep you could clearly see he was in shape where as Tom was looking kind of flabby in comparison.

As for the filler comment, the season has started out well and I don't want to see them going back to filler crap. That was the point. DUH

This episode sounds like not much more than an exuse to see Lois wearing skimpy outfits while pole dancing. Needless to say, it should be great. :D:up:

Don't expect her to actually get naked though. You'll have to drudge through a few minutes of the horror of Uwe Boll's "House of the Dead" for that. There are some prices that are just too high to pay, even for Erica Durance. Besides, it's not like you can't do a Google search... ;)

I honestly dont remember whether the underage comment came up then. But looking back it would have been a completely valid argument and something to seriously be considered. I dont fall on the side that says that what they did was immoral or anything like that.

I just find it to be an intriguing argument. Of course now that they are over 18 hey all bets are off.

Oh, there are still complaints. It's just that you get a little weary after a while when you know no one's going to listen. Trying to get the WB to stop using sex as a selling point is like trying to get Chloe to give up journalism and switch to a major in underwater basket weaving. Not gonna happen.

Also, a lot depends on context. I felt more comfortable with the scene in "Devoted" than the scene in "Unsafe," for instance, because the former was played for laughs, almost as a kind of spy spoof, rather than just being direct titillation for the sake of titillation. Judging by the spoilers, this scene could play out much the same way as "Devoted." We'll have to see.

I agree.

In those WB interviews he says that he is 6'3". However, there are some places that say he is 6'4" but he says his 6'3" because of clothing measurements or something.

I think JS is a reeeallly good looking man. There were pictures taken of him in person at last year's Metropolis celebration by TW4S. I'll have to see if I can rummage them up. JS looked a lot younger and more handsome in person, IMO.

I was just at Target, and I saw the funniest shirt in the women's department. It was an old pic of JS from his Dukes days, big blonde hair and all, and it said.. (shoot, I don't remember).. something cutesy though. It cracked me up to see Pa Kent on a t-shirt looking all youthful and hot. :)

I couldnt believe that they had Dukes of Hazzard costumes (JS version) available for Halloween at Target.

I really think JS is tons better-looking now than when he was young. I first saw him as Jonathan and didn't see any of "Dukes" till later, so maybe that explains it. But then, some men just get better with age!

Welling's cute and all, and I understand why so many women go for him, but to my mind, he's just too boyish still. Give him a few years, and we'll see. :) (Ducks hail of rotten eggs and tomatoes and runs like the dickens)

I think Welling's larger eyes and shorter chin will forever give him a more youthful appearance, which, considering his profession, can't be all that bad a thing. The 'Dukes' of 'Smallville'
By Kate O'Hare

For going on five seasons, John Schneider has played Clark Kent's foster dad, Kansas farmer Jonathan Kent, on The WB's teen-Superman drama "Smallville." That whole time, the question has been raised: When will Tom Wopat, Schneider's co-star on the hit 1970s-'80s series "The Dukes of Hazzard," make a guest appearance?

"Somebody finally heard you," Schneider says, calling in from the show's Vancouver set with Wopat at his side, "and here we are."

An episode called "Exposed," airing Thursday, Nov. 3, reunites Wopat and Schneider, who played cousins Luke and Bo Duke, a pair of modern Robin Hoods in rural Georgia, in the classic series.

Wopat plays Sen. Jack Jennings (a nod to the "Dukes" balladeer, Waylon Jennings), an old friend of Jonathan's who comes to Smallville to seek his help in an upcoming campaign.
"That was a great idea [to pair them up]," says Tom Welling, who plays Clark. "They were like two kids in a candy store, being together. You could tell that a lot of the old gags came up again.

"I used to watch 'Dukes' all the time growing up. John's going to hate me for saying this, but I caught it in syndication because they began that show the year I was born."

"The difficult part is," Wopat says, "they're yelling for 'Tom' on the set, and we've got two TWs here."

"I only work with TWs," quips Schneider.

For "Dukes" fans, the episode contains a few inside jokes. "The senator's taste in cars is a bit classic, shall we say," Schneider says. "He drives a '69 Dodge Charger. Imagine that."

But fans expecting to see a twin of the Dukes' orange Charger, the General Lee, will be disappointed.

"It's blue," Schneider reveals.

"It is blue?" Wopat says. "I thought it was green."

"It's bluish-green, aqua," Schneider says. "They can't be ridiculous [and make it orange]. They wanted to nudge. They didn't want to shove."

"We had a line today talking about Chickasaw County," Wopat says, "so there was another one."

"And of course," Schneider adds, "the door on the passenger side of the senator's car has been broken since he got it, so he has to climb in."

"It's not bad," Wopat says. "It's tough when they change windows, make us go out the wrong window."

Apparently, one of the hazards of being a Duke cropped up again, forcing Schneider to take action.

"I had to have them remove the door-lock mechanism," he says, "so that my buddy wouldn't get his back ripped open again like he did 27 years ago."

"The door-lock thing," Wopat says, "when you take the plastic piece off of it, it's just a little spike."

"A piece of threaded metal," Schneider says.

"You can impale yourself pretty good on it," Wopat says.

"I had them go in with a pair of bolt cutters," Schneider explains, "and get rid of it. They didn't want to. At first, they put a piece of black tape on it. I said, 'No, no, that's not good.'

"And they jumped the car the other day. It should be cute. It has the potential of bringing in the entire 27 years' worth of 'Dukes of Hazzard' audience to 'Smallville,' which is great."

Asked what he thinks of Jennings' story line -- which includes a bit of a scandal -- Wopat says, "It just kind of hits the low points."

This elicits a hoot from Schneider.

"I actually ended up paying more attention to the 'Dukes of Hazzard' stuff than to the story," Wopat continues, "because I show up, everything's so compressed. It's almost a B-story in a way."

The two also say that it wasn't hard to get the old juices flowing. "We fall into a rhythm, Tom and I," Schneider says, "and it doesn't seem like work at all. We have so much fun reminiscing and talking. It's the easiest work that I ever do, the years with Tom on 'Dukes of Hazzard' and the reunion movies we did together.

"Even when we toured with music, it was like sitting in a hotel room playing a guitar, and there just happened to be 10,000 people in the audience."

Wopat's visit did get Schneider a little special treatment on his own set.

"The first day," Schneider says, "we had lots of people taking pictures that I've known for years. I said, 'You never wanted to take my picture before. What's going on here?' It was fun."

"It was out of context," adds Wopat.

"We become special," Schneider says, "because they were watching us before they were going to school. It's a privilege on one hand and makes me feel very old on the other."

As for the "Dukes of Hazzard" feature film that came out this year, starring Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville, Schneider says, "I saw it. It was cute. The car stuff was great. The guys had a terrific, infectious kind of chemistry, albeit a different kind of chemistry than Tom and I had, but still it was there."

There aren't a lot of country folk like the Dukes on television right now -- except for the Kents, of course.

"'Smallville,' for all of its science fiction," Schneider says, "still has a family that walks down a dirt road to the mailbox to get the mail. People in New York, L.A. and Chicago forget that not everybody has a doorman."

Finally, to re-establish their country cred, Wopat and Schneider launch into a harmony rendition of a song from the countrified variety show "Hee Haw," ending with, "I searched the world over, and I thought I found true love. You met another, and" -- insert raspberry here -- "you were gone."

I was never a fan of the original DoH show... but I'm looking forward to seeing this ep, moreso after reading this article. These behind-the-scene insights always enhance my viewing pleasure, I guess. When he gets arrested in Exposed they could finger print him and they could then match his finger prints to finger prints that they lifted from the ATMs, the bank etc. that he left in Exile.

In all of Clark's B&E's, has he *ever* wore gloves? Ever? Even once? Nope. Not that I can remember. In Rogue alone, his prints should have been everywhere, not the least of which would have been the home of the IA chief as well as the rooftop panel of the Metropolis Museum, which he clearly ripped from its mount barehanded. actually there'd have to be one hell of a need for troops for them to take a 16 year old. Technically, you could enlist at 16, but they'd most likely talk you out of it until you finished high school.

I am too, but mainly to see Clark in the suit and more Lex/Clark/Fine scenes.

I'm kinda missing seeing Clark and Lex scenes. Having them pull away from each other is going to be tough. Although I like BadboyLex, I miss the interaction they had. Hopefully they'll still have some, it'll just be more hostile. That may work too though. ;)

I'm going to Tivo it, but while I can transfer and view my Tivo recordings on my PC, I still can't figure out how to share them. I don't think it's possible.

Are you serious? Transfering your TV stuff to a PC IS the hard part. You've got Windows, so you have Windows Movie Maker on your pc. That program is like "video encoding for monkeys."
Then use a site like Rapid Share to transfer the file to anyone that wants it.

You have been learned! :)

Sorry, but this monkey needs a bit more help than that. :)

For one thing, I don't think I have WMM on this PC.. I think my dad may have deleted it. My dad's nuts, long story. The problem is, the Tivo Desktop transfers the recording, but then you use WMP10 to play it... and I think they have it safeguarded so that it can't be shared. Or maybe I just can't figure out how to.

I'll go look around Tivo.com.. Maybe I can get some answers there.
(edit: so after looking around it seems that I need to d/l something that will unlock the .tivo files and convert them to .mpg. Wish me luck)

See, this episode got across the major theme of the season: what it means to be a hero. And it did it a hundred times better than Aqua, all because it was subtle and not throwing it in our faces. Sure Lois dancing was a total joke (how experienced strip club members could be hooting after someone standing and not realize something is amiss still is beyond me). And where have a seen the lady that played Sawyer before? I could have sworn I saw her in some episode. The only thing that really bothered me about this episode (beside Chloe's half assed reporting, although I'm thinking the writers actually intended that to forshadow Lois and Clark), was Clark going back to Lex. Every goddamn episode he goes to him yelling at the guy and its really starting to annoy me. And is Lex actually old enough to run for Sentate? At most would be house of representatives.

I agree on the Clark-Lex point. He always shows up ragging on him and then as soon as Lex does him a favor he's thanking him and being nice. No wonder Lex doesn't care so much for him anymore.

Good question--where WAS Martha? And, for that matter, where were Lana and Lionel?

(Ah well, Lana may have been recovering from her ordeal in "Thirst." Kristin can't be in every episode.) ;)

Here's my take:

The Good:

- The original "good ol' boys" reunited! The scenes with John Schneider and Tom Wopat were well-done, most notably the one with Jonathan and the Senator in the car (and Bo Kent driving like a maniac :D ).

- All three future reporters (Clark, Lois, and Chloe) in the Planet at one point or another.

- The helicopter scene at the end. The minute Chloe told Clark that there was a heliport (and Lois about to be taken away), he gave a very Superman-like glance above and then proceeds to take the copter down. (I thought for a moment he was going to do a shirt rip or something.)

- "The runner got caught in the cable"--nice nod to STM. And speaking of nods...

- With Clark, Chloe, and Lois in the club, I was reminded of the L&C episode "I've Got a Crush on You" (the one where the duo go undercover at a club), even though it was Chloe and Lois doing the UC work.

The Not-So-Good:

- No Lana, Martha, or Lionel.

I know I'm just saying that after four seasons don't you think things should change. Sooner or later he's going to see Lex's true colors and give up which was hinted in Onyx. After next weeks episode with the sliver kryptonite it could be a turning point but I fear it's just going to be another Pariah case with no continuity after that and I felt that Clark is disallusioned by his "friendship" with Lex, like Chloe said "you must really be kidding yourself".

I hated that they CONSTANTLY kept saying that Clark, Chloe, and Lois were minors.

Clark and Chloe are in college. That means they're PROBABLY at least 18. Isn't that legal age? Lois is older than both Clark and Chloe. She's legal.

Anyway, it was an alright episode, but there were SOME Dukes of Hazzard references that I didn't like. Lex's "good old boy" comment made me CRINGE. I half expected Wopat's charger to have the special honk.

The preview for Splinter looked amazing! I can't wait to see that one.

I enjoyed tonight's ep..more for some of the individual fun stuff though. ED is just too gorgeous for her own good. I liked how her strip dance started out all dorky, but then she kicked it into high gear and really owned that pole. ;)

I had a premonition that they were going to use that song for her dance. Seriously.. I heard it in the car a few days ago and I thought - *that's* the song they'll probably use for Lois's dance. I am not kidding. Pinky swear even.

The Duke boy stuff was sorta, meh, for me. I thought the talk in the car was really awkward. They were having this serious dialogue about friendship and honesty and there's silly Duke music, for lack of a better term, in the background. It was fine though, the boys were kinda cute together in a nostalgic way.

Where the heck was Martha? We haven't seen her in what? 2 or 3 eps now? A throwaway line about why she wasn't there, like we had for Lana, would have been nice.

Jonathan's such a big jerk to Lex. I know Lex is the bad guy.. one day.. but still, Jonathan was annoying. I noticed they had Lex accuse him of being on a pulpit.. only to have Jonathan refer to himself that way as well later in the ep. I guess he agreed.

Lex is still walking that line... a little bad.. a little good. MR wears LL like one of his custom-made suits, perfectly.

I can hardly talk about Clark in this episode. I think my retinas actually burst from the beauty of that man in this episode. Good LORD! At the end, when he was standing on the roof with Lois and looking up, we had yet another CLASSIC vision of Superman. I can't wait for the screencaps from this one. I think I can even get some myself now.. ;)

He was so very funny ordering that Coke. Straight up, with ice. LOL! I'm not sure he got the whole "lapdance" thing though, he was adorably uncomfortable.

I also loved his closing scene with Lois.. SO much better than that cheesy one at the end of Aqua. This was not as in-your-face.. but it showed more chemistry and potential future romance between them than I've ever seen. And some of you know how much that means coming from me. ;) "Aye, aye, sailor," perfectly delivered too.

I always think AM does a good, and usually above average job, but her early scenes seemed a little rough, to me. Not sure why.

I liked the helicopter scene, or at least the part where Clark was holding it like a balloon on a string. Nice movie nod, but again, not too overt as to be annoying.

Oh, and Lois kicking that guy's butt in the apartment was awesome. I kinda like violent, don't-mess-with-me Lois.

Did anyone else think the scene where the girl (Melissa?) was run over was suprisingly graphic? I swear, it looked like we saw her hit and run over by both sets of tires! And I'm pretty sure that street scene is the same one they used for the scene where Alicia revealed Clark's abilities to Chloe.

Damn.. sorry this is so long. It's the beer. :D

18 means you can vote an' are considered an adult, but you still need to be 21 to be in an establishment that serves liquor or of an adult nature. 'Sides, nobody said THEY were th' specific minors, although they did not belong there.

Well, where I live you can get into strip clubs and regular clubs at 18. So when I watched the episode I thought it was weird they kept calling them minors, especially Lois who is a year or two older than Clark and Chloe.

And can someone please tell me what happened in that first Chloe/Lois scene? Or the last conversation b/w Clark and Lex? I missed both parts.

She said serving minors, as in alcohol.

Except none of them had any alcohol. Where I am you can get in at 18 and as long as you don't drink its ok.

Listen, they were in a strip club. Strip clubs serve alcohol. There were other minors there. Hence, they were serving minors alcohol.

We had this conversation earlier in this thread. There are SOME clubs that allow 18 year olds in because they don't serve liquor. But, you can bring your own liquor in (if you're 21) and they will serve it to you, for a ridiculous fee no doubt.

The club in this episode looked like it definitely served liquor, therefore I would assume it was a 21 and over club. But Clark ordered a Coke.. so they weren't serving alcohol to a minor.. technically.

HE WASNT THE ONLY MINOR THERE!!!!!!

Enjoyed the ep, but clearly not as much as a lot of other people. I probably should have enjoyed it more given that there was no fotw, it centered around real crime, and had solid acting.

Still this whole season has been good to great so I can't complain.

The line I didn't like was where Jonathan said he'd never liked Lex much. That wasn't just harsh, but also it didn't quite fit continuity. ("Exodus" and the wedding gift, anyone?) Other than that -- no, Jonathan wasn't at his best in the scene (see, I CAN admit that my most beloved character has flaws :) ), but he does have good reasons for finding Lex untrustworthy. And I really felt for him when he learned the truth about his best friend. That would hurt.

As for Jonathan being sorry later for having been on a pulpit (no, Lex, not a "pull-pit," a pulpit. Why didn't someone teach MR to pronounce the word properly? ), that was perfectly in character. One reason I'm so fond of Jonathan is that he does realize his mistakes and learns from them -- he's done that in any number of episodes.

The "Dukes" stuff was fantastic for me. And props for whoever thought of putting JS in a blue shirt and a baby-blue car -- really brought out those gorgeous eyes of his. :D But you're right, where was Martha? These unmentioned and unexplained absences are just getting weird. And this episode could really have used her -- to have a slightly different opinion of Lex from Jonathan's, for example, or just to see her interact with an old friend. That was a major mistake.

Great Dukes of Hazzard references throughout. An example of how small one of these references got was the angle of the car slightly jumping off of a dirt mound and back onto the road. Same angles of the car as used in the DOH show. But, for any major DOH fan were some of the occasions that Jonathon and Mayor(Tom Wyatt) talked about occasions from the show, or just made up?

Great episode, the look of surprise on Clark and Lois' face was priceless when they discovered each other at the bar. Very funny.

Also great continuation of the Daily Planet and next week's ep is definitely going to rock. That TV promo spot was off the hooks amazing.

I laughed my butt off at Lois's attempt at dancing and Clark's order. The Dukes of Hazzard mean nothing to me but my husband loved it. I don't mind not seeing a character with such a large ensemble show I'd rather that then a throwaway scene just to fit someone in. Besides if they are going to continue for a few years it wouldn't hurt to give their actors a little time off once in a while.

Put glasses on Clark and we have our new Lois and Clark Part Deux. lol

I think this episode did a great job showing why Lois will be a star reporter as opposed to Chloe. She outdid her with her observations in the scene with Lt. Sawyer at the Planet.

Speaking of the Planet, did anyone notice that the elevator door at the Planet in tonight's Smallville look very similar to the one that is in Superman Returns (Bryan's Blog "Clark Returns")?

ANY PICTURES WITH SCENES FROM THE CLUB??

Ok this one what kind of meh for me. I enjoyed it but several things seemed kind of forced and out of place, while a few others didnt make sense.

The Dukes were great. I loved the references but looking at the storyline some of the stuff including the car ride just seemed forced.

Chloe at the Planet. This still bugs me. She's really over shadowing Lois though Lois did come up with the trump card on what the girl was wearing. Seems like they missed the spot for some character development for her. We still dont know her major or if she's even in college. Also why the hell is she hanging out in Smallville.

This ep seemed to setup JK's run for Senate(?) but that's all the further the story got pushed.

The helicopter scene. Why wasnt Clark lifted off the roof? He cant fly yet he shouldnt have been able to stay put. Though I did notice the field around him when he jumped.

Overall this one gets a 3/5. I'm wondering when we'll get back to the caliber of episode the first 3 put out. Also with the way they Lois was touting Chloe's feelings for Clark early on she's so dead in 100.

Which character do you think is going to die? Chloe or Lois?? I couldn't quite tell from this statement.

I completely agree that this was just a 'meh' episode. It just *felt* weird to me. I'm going to rewatch it, however, to see if I just needed to get used to the Metropolis feel of it.

This episode was... so so. Kind of middle of the road, though the chopper scene at the end *was* exciting. There were a couple of things that bugged me. The train trestle location is overused at this point. They should find another location to shoot, but I suppose they have good reason now. Apparently, they chose not to use the original footage with all the explosions due to the stunt man being injured by the fall. Ah vell. But the woman getting hit by a car was pretty visceral, so it still worked.

Acting from the principals was top notch, though I think Welling could have chosen better reactions in a few scenes. Clark still has that SOS look on his face sometimes ("Stuck On Stupid" LOL). For example, when Jennings tells Clark that sooner or later you can't hide your super powers any more (or something along those lines - I only saw the episode once and need to rewatch it for proper quotes), I EXPECTED at *least* a raised eyebrow from Clark. But he just stared back, expressionless. Meh. C'mon Welling. I KNOW you can do better than that.

Acting from the guest bad guy (Mr. "Diplomatic Immunity" - nice homage to Donner's Lethal Weapon 2, BTW) was good. All the other guests were poor, ESPECIALLY the dancers. Were *any* of them "real" actresses, I wonder? And honestly, I think Wopat has lost his spark. He seemed to be phoning in a few scenes, though I loved the introduction of his character in the iconic Charger. That was well done and put a smile on my face. "That the best ya got?" Hee!

The redeeming value to this episode I feel was in the subtext: Every hero has their flaws - and it's not easy being one. A nice metaphor was when Chloe put on the dancer's angel wings and said they're heavier than they look, and then promptly took them off. Jennings points out that heroes are envied, but people are constantly looking for them to fail. It's wincing commentary on how people relate better to heroes with flaws. When a hero makes a mistake it knocks them off their pedestal (pulpit?) and makes them more like everybody else.

In that context the most interesting revelation by far was Lex's point about David. Clark says they conveniently leave off the non hero parts of David's tale, something that SV as a show about Superman - the greatest hero of all time - never does. In fact, they revel in it. ;)

PS: I can't WAIT till next week's episode, Splinter. Now THAT is gonna be phenomenal, I'm sure.

WOLVERINE25TH

Of course they revel in it; it's th' formula that made Marvel #1 so Mr. Supes needed to be corrected to take advantage of it. At least this show didn't happen pre-Crisis, otherwise nothin' woulda ever hurt him an' he'd be Mr. Perfect Puss.

I thought the episode was good, its good to see them mix things up with a real crime story. No being a Dukes of Hazzard fan, I didnt get alot of the references, but understood some and thought they were funny.

It actually didnt bother me that they made no mention of Martha, she does work at the Talon remember, but I thought it was good that they explained where Lana was. Is that the first time that Kristen's never been in an episode? I think so.

Lois, Clark, Chloe were all great and I really liked how they showed Lois to be the one with the smarts and a real compassion for what was going on.

I definitely liked it better after a second viewing, I think I was so wound up before it came on, mostly from the WB promo for it, that it took a bit to adjust to the ep's fairly low-key feel, and the being mainly in Metropolis was new too, so I spent the hour adjusting as well as following the story, so I missed quite a bit during the first time.

I still think they need to perfect the transitions from Metropolis to Smallville. Not sure why Clark and Lex and back together, but thats Clark, wanting to trust so much he'll give you as many chances as it takes.

I know Lex didn't do what he accused him of, and it was damn rude of Clark to come barging in making accusations, but it doesn't erase everything else Lex did do. I was happy Lex told Jonathan off, though I think Jonathan has every right not to trust Lex, and never should, but to assume guilt with no proof is wrong, no matter who you;re dealing with, but thats Jonathan.

I loved the Clark and Lois foreshadowing, and was it just me, or was some attraction hinted at, subtley but I thought it was there, in the end scene (which I loved) especially.

And do I even need to mention how ridiculously gorgeous our superboy was? Good god, I thought my tv would melt.

Overall, its been a pretty good season thus far, and even though this isn't my favorite ep, I enjoyed it, and there was lots good about it. And Lana, didn't even miss her really...would have liked to see Martha, but its not the first time she's not been there. She does provide a nice balance to Jonathan though, which would have been cool to see.

And can we please stop editing the hell out of promos for next week's show, I dont know what I seeing, I think it looked pretty cool, but whos to say? lol. Anyone know who's directing Splinter?

Good episode, just left me wanting a little more, Lois is smoking, but her dancing did nothing for her. I know she was supposed to feel awkward up there, but guys were looking at her like she was the most fantastic thing to ever take a stage. Love when Lex and Jonathan are in the kitchen and Lex calls Jennings a good ole boy. All in all I enjoyed it. Next week looks to be a great one.
