Batman Beyond Character Creation Help

[Silver Sable]

Hey guys and girls.I made up a sidekick for Terry/Batman and I need some help/suggestions.I think the outfit I made for her doesn't look too amusing and I'm having a hard time thinking of a name for her.I was thinking of Glow but it's too short and corny.If you can think of anything, please feel free to post.I'll explain a little more about her background soon.Thanks.

why does she have such a bright, and almost disco looking costume?

I would think that if this girl was gonna be a Batman sidekick, she would either have a Robin like looking costume, or a Batgirl like costume... OR something dark and sleak. This is way to flashy...

I didn't mean it in a bad way. She just kind of looked like a jokerz because of all the bright colors and stuff. I actually think it would make a good story if he got a sidekick that used to be part of the jokerz, cause you know how all the robins and such have messed up pasts.

So, um it's not that we don't like her, we're just trying to understand the character and why she looks the way she does.

I explained what her powers are all ready.She transforms by putting her gloves on.Come to thik of it, she does look like a rip off of Rogue and Dazzler a little :o :(

well, here's my go at it. I used a pic of the animated Batgirl and just sort of built your girl out of that. I changed the colors around to better reflect those of a Batman sidekick. the jacket I think really says 'Robin'. The body suit is supposed to look sort of metallic as if Bruce made a techno-suit for her. i kept the stars but moved them to the leg and I got rid of the 80's type bands and belts that don't really serve any function. I also changed the hair but kept a sort of 'Streak' but tried to make it look less like Rougue. You had said that she gets her powers from her gloves, but they looked just like biking gloves, so I evolved them into techno-gauntlets. Anyway these are all just suggestions and I had fun coming up with this, so...ok. Bye.

hmmmm.... i can see what ur getting at with this character Sable. Since Terry in BB is more upbeat than bruce used to be, u wanted a character to accent his younger, more adventurous side. quick question. Is her skin really white? I just noticed that her skin was white and was wondering if it was just like you didn't have the color for it, or it really was meant to be white.

Here's my shot at your character sable. I kind of got the stars on the side idea from campbell's one. As you can see,something i tried to do is put a mask but still have that moon she had over her eye. I also made the main suit color be black cause i thought i'd look better with batman beyond. And by the way, i know the coloring is pretty messy, but it'd be too much work to go in and fix it all.

thats a pretty cool design baby webhead. There is some good input goin into this. The jacket and hair WAS i little rogueish, it looks better with one or the other instead of both. But hey, thats just my opinion, dnt take it to heart. In the end, it's your character sable, do what you wish with her.

Costume-wise... I like the stars down the sides of the legs. Keep those. Perhaps the belt, if it's purely decorative, could be a belly chain of little stars. I don't like that vest-thing she's got, though. She could have a long, deep golden star on the front of the shirt, or perhaps only the outline of one with black inside of it.

I was thinking that the sleeves could be three-quarter-length, meeting the gloves at her elbows. The gloves could have a yellow band at the top, and a simple golden star could be on the tops of her hands. I can't really think of anything for the mask right now.

Yeah. I hate to say it, but I very much dislike that first costume design. It's like Rogue raided Jubilee's closet and decided to go to a disco or something. I have agree with earlier comments; she just doesn't belong with a costume like that. She can have a bright personality, perhaps whatever powers she has can illuminate her when she uses them, but I could never see her fighting beside Terry.

A good way to brainstorm ideas for names is to put a keyword into a thesaurus- you'll get a whole lotta words that you may not have thought of otherwise

I think it may have a sexual conotation that may not lend itself well to a Batman Beyond Character. That name may better suit some sort of seductress or sometning. Great name, but maybe not suited for this characterIMO.
