X-men Elimination Game Nominations

Here is the deal. There will be 5 rounds of elimination. After five rounds, we will take the best two from each round and have a championship. Round one has already started. http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201707 We now need nominations for the 4 future rounds. Nominate as many characters as you want. The most nominated will be chosen. If we don't have many nominations, I'll pick the characters... you don't want that.

If you ask me, it should be spread out more, started over. The first "round" had most of the big hitters in it, so the few that are left and stuck in subsequent rounds will automatically go on, while some of the others won't because they are up against other big characters.

I would say that maybe these games aren't such a good idea if they drag on and on like this, but then I was thinking I might not participate after these first two rounds. It's exhausting being so vigilent. In both games I'm pretty much on my own, tho I've gotten some help in the X-men one for which I am very grateful. I'm thinking that if I don't play in any new games and keep holding things up, the games will go much faster.

Actually, it wasn't the voting that was irking me, it was the comments on my playing method and you weren't the only one commenting. I was feeling like crap yesterday so I vented a little. It gets a little stressful when I'm working that hard and the other team is having a pep rally against me, especially since there is no garuntee that Gambit is going to win. I scored big yesterday because for a long time, no one else played, I was gaining points by being persistant. I fully expected the multiplayer Wolverine team to come last night and remove my gains. Oddly it hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure it will. There's at least two steady Wolvie players that skipped yesterday, I'm sure they will be back unless I've finally bored them out of playing. It's not over until it's over and I hope you and BigMac don't change your voting just because I had my litttle hissy fit yesterday. I got that out of my system and I feel better now. :D

Do you think that we should have everyone else vote on who to include on the list? Because Beak, while he was a big part of the team, I know not all may want him on, and Spider man and Power Princess are still relatively new additions, so it may not be fair for them to be included yet.

There were four prequels for the first movie - I only have two, plus I have the comic adaptation and I don't remember him at all. It is general knowledge that Spike is a modification of Marrow. Are you thinking of Quill from New X-men?

Well, generally, they're considered to be Canada's answer to teams like X-Men, since a lot of them are mutants, and they've worked together with the X-Men alot and they have that big connection with Wolverine, so you could use that as their connection to the X-verse. I'll put a list together and then you can decide for yourself if you want to use it.

I remember Genosha, but not that she would have trouble if she stayed human. I am not as familair with her character. Do you suppose that will be brought up in X-Factor at all?

Probably not unless they do a story with something else about that. She was actually later healed from that ailment. That's why when the original X-Factor team started with her on it, she was always at least in partial wolf form, because if she turned fully human, she became a mindless drone.
