Dear Diary (or rather Journal, as I like to use)

I think I'm being watched, and I'm pretty close to calling the police. Last week, one night I heard someone breathing by my bed (and moving around in my room), and I could not move for about 5 minutes, freaked as all hell out. When I finally got up out of bed, I turned on the lights, and noone was there.

And for the past couple of days, I turned on my TV, and it was on a different channel than I watched the previous night. And it was changed to the same station.

Last night, one of my buddies I was hanging out with, told me that he saw a strange car stop outside my house for a minute or less.

squeekness
02-26-2006, 10:34 PM
I think Worthy, that you have a serious problem. Since you cannot prove anything I doubt the police will take you that seriously, although you may want to consider reporting a prowler. At least they might send a car around your house which might scare off a stalker. I would immediately change the locks in your place to deadbolts. This is very serious and I am greatly concerned. Perhaps you should have a friend stay with you at night if you can, or you stay with them a couple of days.

Uhh, worthy, thats scary, bro....

I say call the cops, tell them whats goin on, and see what you could do to prevent such an occurance...

WorthyStevens
02-26-2006, 10:50 PM
Thanks for the concern guys. I'm not sure whether to call the police, as the cops around here I think are pretty much a joke (although I'm thinking I might have to if this gets more serious).

About changing the locks, right now, since I'm only 19 and living with my parents for now (still in college), I don't know about that.

I'm hoping this is just an odd series of events, but just in case, I'll be waiting if anything does happen.

squeekness
02-26-2006, 10:53 PM
You may want to tell your folks what's going on and have them install motion sensitive outside lights which don't cost a lot of money or even install a video camera in the house. But if you're not living alone maybe it was just your folks in the house moving things and checking in on you at night.

WorthyStevens

^ I'm hoping it is Cook.

Squeek, my parents never check in on me. And this happened at around 1-2 a.m., so they're in bed.

I'm also living in the basement right now, and they rarely come down here.

Not to mention one of my two windows' lock is broken, so anyone from the outside could get in if they wanted to, and that scares the living crap out of me.

*time for Worthy to get a better room somewhere else* LOL, but seriously. Can you board up the windows or nail them shut?

*time for Worthy to get a better room somewhere else* LOL, but seriously. Can you board up the windows or nail them shut?

I do want a better room, heh.

I don't think I can board up the windows, because my windows are a bit too wide for any board I have hanging around. And I can't nail the windows shut, because my windows don't allow for that. :(

squeekness
02-26-2006, 11:09 PM
You need to at least bring this up with your folks, maybe they have some ideas about how to make the place more secure. Even if it is nothing, you shouldn't have the windows so easy to get through like that anyway. :)

WorthyStevens
02-26-2006, 11:14 PM

Also, I have no idea to fix the window problem. :p

Is this another thing I should have had in my childhood?I wish there was a way to share songs like we post pictures. Iko Iko is an old traditional folk song. If you heard it you might recognize it. It's been used in several recent movies including Elizibethtown and Skeleton Key. You could do a search for it at Amazon.com, they might have a sound bite for it.

Don't know how much longer she will be reading it. In an odd twist of fate, it wasn't the sexual content that freaked her out -- I had warned her ahead of time -- it was the violence. Honestly, I hadn't thought it was all that bad. Guess I'm so numb from TV and movies or something. She says there are TV shows she can't watch because of the violence. :(

Snow day, that was an awesome movie.
Anyways, when I lived in Seattle, if it snowed more than 6 inches, school was cancelled.
Here in Utah, it has to snow almost 4 feet before school is cancelled. It sucks.

squeekness
03-03-2006, 10:16 PM
That's funny Kazaire. I had the opposite experience when I lived in Tennessee for a while. It snowed one whole inch and they were beside themselves on how to deal with it. They closed the schools and everything. I just laughed and laughed.

Dear diary,

Yesterday we went to visit my inlaws. My father in law Frank had just come back from the doctor. He's really overweight and has diabetes and had had a couple of spells where he was dizzy and sweaty and shaky just like a low blood sugar and thought maybe there was something wrong with his insulin. The doc said no, it wasn't that. The doc seems to think that he might have just had a couple small heart attacks and that he might be due for a really big one any day now. Frank told my husband that he's really scared now, and my husband told him he was going to have to start eating better. Frank just laughed. As scared as he was to die, he wasn't quite ready to give up his bad eating habits. I wonder, just what does it take to reform a man? Frank had been hospitalized a few years ago for having fluid trapped around his heart. He was told to stop smoking and he did that. Yet when he was told he had diabetes, refused to change his lifestyle. I don't get it. Why would junk food be more addictive and alluring than smoking?

Kazaire
03-07-2006, 07:13 PM
Hmmm. He must be pretty addicted to food if he doesn't want to change. And fluid around the heart? *gag* That's why I'm not in the medical field. Anyways, did you have fun at the golfball place today squeeky?

Today was not good. :(
1. Was late for work (even though it was only 2 minutes)
2. Got asked out by, and have to turn down a girl I have no interest in.
3. Didn't hit quota
4. Didn't finish categorizing
5. Unintentionally offended a customer (I'm gonna get yelled at tomorrow)
6. Saw a teacher I never wanted to see again.
7. Accidently tore up my draft paper that came in the mail.

Dear diary,

Today we went to go see our financial advisor and I am was pleased to see that so far our investments for retirement are doing very well. We are doing better than we had thought after we looked back over just two year's progress. It looks like, at this time, that we may both (my hubby and I ) retire early and go ride roller coasters. I am not saying this to brag, dear diary, but I am hoping that the young ones out there will learn and understand that you shouldn't wait until you're 40 to think about retirement. Invest in your 401Ks as soon as you get hired and put in as much as you can afford. Talk to a financial advisor, one who gets paid by how much money he makes for you, not one on commission. If you think ahead now when all of you youngin's are still young, you'll have a lot less stress when you're old like me. :)

It's about two rival crime lords --Ben Kingsly and Morgan Freeman. One them sends a hit man -- Bruce Willis -- to kill someone and he starts harrassing Josh Harnett in what appears to be a case of mistaken identity. Lucy Lu plays Harnett's love interest. It looks to be sarcastic and clever like Pulp Fiction but hopefully not as violent or bloody. :) Sleven is the last name of Harnett's character.

The animation was awesome. You don't question what you see. I was quite partial to the centuars myself. :)

I'm glad they didn't dress up Santa like you usually see him (the big red coat with white fur) that would've just downed the whole movie for me. The White Witch could've been a little more sinister. But it was a good movie (my favorite part is when the archeress fires the arrow that turns into the Phoenix :D)

Saw Ice Age 2. It was okay. Quite a few crude themes for a kids movie.

Dear diary,

Fruity is attempting to keep this thread alive. Okay, I miss my bf, he went to Goldcoast for a couple of weeks. *Sob*, At least I got my cute little dog here, Magic, with me although he's trying to escape from my constant hug. Lol. Yet everytime I got myself any type of food he'll be right there next to me. Lol. Hmm....still feeling a little off but I'm getting better. I better be. After all that yucky porridge that I made (can't cook) and ate (Blech).....................Hmmmmm..............Oh Yeah, Halcohol, The answer is I don't know, I don't use deo, I don't need to, I smell fruitilicious all the time. LMAO.....cough! cough! Ehem.....yes.

Anyway..........my bathtub is filled and I'm off. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f351/fruityemen/Gif/Bubblebath____Collab_by_spiralki.gif

Dear Diary

Mood: Apathetic

My life is spiraling downward. I couldn’t get enough money to go to the Blood Red Romance and Suffocate Me Dry concert. It sucks cause they play some of my favorite songs like “Stab my heart because I love you” and “Rip apart my soul” and of course “Stabby rip stab stab” And It doesn’t help that I couldn’t get my hair to do that flippy thing either…like that guy from that band can do….some days you know...

I’m an emo kid, non-conforming as can be
You’d be non-conforming too if you look just like me
I have paint on my nails and makeup on my face
I’m almost emo enough to start shaving my legs
Cause I feel real deep when dressing in drag
I call it freedom of expression, most just call me a ***
Our dudes look like chicks and chicks look like dykes
Cause emo is one step below transvestite

Stop my breathing and slit my throat
I must be emo

I don’t jump around when I go to shows
I must be emo

I’m dark and sensitive with low self esteem
The way I dress makes everyday feel like Halloween
I have no real problems but I like to make believe
I stole my sister’s mascara now I’m grounded for a week
Sulking and writing poetry are my hobbies
I can’t get through a hawthorne heights album without sobbing
Girls keep breaking up with me, it’s never any fun
They say they already have a pussy, they don’t need another one

Stop my breathing and slit my throat
I must be emo

I don’t jump around when I go to shows
I must be emo

Dye in my hair and polish on my toes
I must be emo

I play guitar and write suicide notes
I must be emo

my life is just a black abyss... ya know..it’s so dark. And it’s suffocating me, grabbing a hold of me and tightening its grip, tighter than a pair of my little sisters jeans...which look great on me by the way.

When I get depressed I cut my wrist in every direction
Hearing songs about getting dumped gives me an erection
I write in a live journal and wear thick rimmed glasses
I tell my friends I bleed black and cry during classes
I’m just a bad, cheap imitation of goth
You can read me “Catcher in the Rye” and watch me jack off
I wear skin tight clothes while hating my life
If I said that I like girls I’d only be half right

I look like I’m dead and dress like a homo
I must be emo

Screw xbox I play old school Nintendo
I must be emo

I like to whine and hate my parentals
I must be emo

Me and my friends all look like clones
I must be emo

My parents don’t get me ya know. They think I’m gay just because they saw me kiss a guy…well, a couple guys …but still, I mean it’s the 2000’s, can’t two…or 4 dudes make out with each other without being gay. I mean, chicks dig that kinda thing anyways. I don’t know diary, sometimes I think you are the only one that gets me…you’re my best friend. i feel like tacos.

Dear Diary,

Girls suck. I mean they do. Really. Even though I am one too. I've been setting up and playing the Elimination games over at the XVerse and everything seemed to go fine until this little ROMY clique came on and took over. They nominated lists that included Gambit or Rogue and to be fair I had to play them, but their little clique would come on and en masse, wipe out everyone else. It's really not fair. The last game was so bad, that I complained to Ted about it even though I'm a mod there. I simply couldn't find a legal way to bust them for cheating even though they are blatently ganging up on people. The last game got closed and the suck of it all, is that we probably won't even be able to play the elims over there anymore because of one bunch of losers who can't even play fair. Maybe it's becuase most of the players here are guys, but I have never once seen anything like that over here. Yeah, the same guys always play here, but the alliances change with each list no one is ever really ganged up on. Not like it was there. It's a real shame that some people have to be such jerks.

Dear Diary.

Today was an awesome day. I went to see Inside Man. This is one of the best movies I've seen this year. We also got a quote from James Marsden saying he was in an X-Suit. On a sadder note one of my best friends grandads died. I know what they are going through. During 2003 I attended 7 funerals :(

Ah, poor Aiden. If we had pictures every day they would lose their appeal I think. These days I often worry that the spoilers are catching up to me and I will walk into the theater and not be surprised or dazzled by anything because I will have already known it was coming. :)
