Sometimes I wish I had an easy job where I go in, do what I need to and then when I leave I am done everything I need to be done. No worries about long term projects, excessive workloads, staying late or working weekends to complete work, tight deadlines, etc
I have also found myself reflecting back to when I was younger when things were simpler and I was more happier.

I confess that I'm sometimes wound way too tight when it comes to grammar. It's not structural things like sentence fragments, misused ellipses, or run-on sentences that get me. I'm guilty of a lot of those. It's bad wording. If you ever hear me speak in person, I'm actually one of those people who repeats my sentences if I notice I've worded it wrong.

She might be better off not driving, depending on where she lives. For example, if she's from New York, there's no point in learning to drive. Just take the bus and subway for long distances across the city, and walk (quickly) everywhere else.

Did you ever go out with her or at least get to bang her or did she just reject you from the beginning & never got to have an actual relationship with her? Pining over a lost love can be difficult at times but at least you aren't stalking her at the moment are you?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2211085/Pining-for-lost-love-can-be-physically-addictive.html
Pining for lost love can be physically addictive
It may be hard to recover after grieving for a loved one because the human brain becomes addicted to pining, neurologists have discovered.
By Keith Perry
Published: 12:39PM BST 28 Jun 2008
Scientists say pining for lost love can turn into a physically addictive pleasure and have dubbed the condition the "Miss Havisham effect" after the jilted bride in the Charles Dickens' novel, Great Expectations.
While it is natural to feel devastated when a loved ones leaves or dies, many people never manage to move on from their grief and feel it over and over again for years.
Long term grief activates neurons in the brain's reward centres which may prompt an addiction-like response.
The report, in NeuroImage, compared the brains of 23 women who had lost sisters or mothers through cancer: 12 had gone through the normal grieving process normally while 11 had got stuck, feeling "complicated grief".
They were shown pictures of their lost relation while their brains were scanned. Both groups showed activation in the pain regions of their brains but only those stuck in grief had raised activity in the nucleus accumbens, which plays a part in both reward and forming social attachment.
Mary-Frances O'Connor, the lead researcher, says that this reward system helps to keep our bonds strong with current lovers or living loved ones.
"Those who adapt to their loss stop getting this reward. But those who don't adapt continue to crave it because each time they see a cue, they still get that neural reward."
She hopes that the research may lead to the development of better therapies for "stuck grief".

That's a shame :csad::csad: Do you think she may have to become permanently wheelchair-bound?
Mine concerns me because she really hasn't had a lot of problems, so I can't help but wonder if it's just a "ticking time bomb" situation. She told me on the phone today that she'd been out shoveling snow earlier this week  My dad lives really close by and checks on her every day, but he can't prevent her from being stubborn and trying to do everything by herself. i dont think she'll become wheelchair bound, nor does she. she's honestly as fit as someone 20 yrs younger than her. she's having the knee done and then going into rehab/physical therapy for a month.
the only thing she's really nervous about is going under, but i'm optimistic she'll be ok. she's just worried because of her age.
she's also worried about my grandfather, but i told her we'll keep an eye on him. he's 91, and he still cuts his own grass, golfs on occassion, etc. they're both very independent, so he doesn't want to come stay with anyone, he wants to stay at his house. he built it after all. so i don't mind stopping by and visiting him after work or when i'm off, or even staying over a night or two, nor does my dad or anyone else.

OK I have to admit it. I've been dating a guy for over a month now and I've felt the most comfortable I've ever felt with someone. Now, he has been acting all weird as if he's not interested anymore. Not returning calls, always saying he's busy and such. I've been feeling very, very blue recently because of this I really don't know how to react.
This is the first time I've been dating a guy, but naturally I think I should treat this like "normal" dating. However, he already has ruffled up some feathers. My last relationship didn't end well so I've spend the last 3 years enjoying being by myself, wanting to be alone really..but now, I'm tired of being lonely :csad:

You should contact the water company, and tell them the leak and bill were caused by someone who prolonged the repairing process.
Unless it's an independent company. Then tell them you're paying an outrageous bill for their prolonging of a problem. Still tell the water company though, they might work with you.

I see you've never heard of the Sock Gap.
"Get them off right after your shoes and before your trousers. That's the Sock Gap. Miss it, and suddenly you're a naked man in socks."
Never heard of that. Hmmm.
better make sure it aint that lil old lady neighbor lol
LOL Poor thing is gonna have a heart attack from what she hears upstairs tonight. I can hear her calling 911 right now:
"Heavens help! There are two men upstairs, fighting really bad. I think they are breaking the furniture! And there might even be a lion or tiger loose too, I hear lots of growling!!! Oh my stars!!!!!"
Her ass should've moved out when she had the chance. :hehe:
Your poor neighbor...

However, footies are acceptable.
Yeah, wearing footies during sex is erotic as hell. Although for some reason wearing them makes me break a sweat a lot faster? At any rate, I'm going to go put some on right now. These wood floors are chilly.

Ah, forget her ass. LOL :oldrazz:
Although I bet she does wonder why I have a cop coming by my crib so often. She probably thinks I'm a criminal of some sort since I always have a police squad car parked out front.

It's from the British TV show Coupling. There's a character named Jeff who had a lot of scenes where he'd be dead serious while explaining some ridiculous stuff: When to take your socks off before sex (The Sock Gap), the dread of becoming self-conscious before having sex with someone you care about and thus ruining your erection (The Melty Man), and the danger of laughing during a moment of silence at a funeral (The Giggle Loop).

That sounds quite humorous actually. LOL

I remember watching reruns of that show back in the summer. Just another example on why British comedy is the best.

Coupling was pretty good.
However, just tell the neighbor it's your parole officer.
Also, at least please wear clean socks. :(

LAWL...meh, I don't think so. She once saw us having breakfast in front of the bay window. He was shirtless and I was wearing a wife-beater (probably the same one I've got on now), so she's gotta know he's not over here to check if my goddamnn tether is still working. :oldrazz:

They are clean. But...I've got a big-toe hole in one of them though. Not very sexy, huh? :csad:

Anti-sexy? Meh, I wouldn't got that far. For instance, what if he suddenly develops a foot-fetish? A big-toe hole would certainly provide easy access to the goods. It'd be like...Ling-geree for feet. :down:up:

You do realise that you're just perpetuating the stereotype of homosexual men and their penchant for "cut-away" clothing now, right?

In other news, a grisly murder took place earlier today when a sarcastic Aussie was found decapitated in a garbage bin. Witnesses say the suspect was a late 30s, tall bisexual black man. More on this story when it develops.

Bad luck for Lightning Strykez... someone must have caught him at the scene.
Because if this were really news there would be no way they'd be able to limit suspects to one unless they had a witness en scene...
