Holy ****, thirteen years?! At first, I was apathetic (like I am about most ended relationships,) but that's a really long time and obviously proves that the relationship was serious. That's unfortunate stuff, Cal.

I know. We first met way back in 1996. We broke up for a hot sec early on, but it's been pretty consistent ever since. Essentially we've grown up together, so it cuts like a knife.

That is terrible news LS. I can't even imagine what it's like to end a 13 year relationship.
It's harder than I thought it would be. We've been on the outs for quite some time, but it finally culminated yesterday...and it didn't really hit me until this morning when I realized I was sleeping alone. He was on the couch. So the transition has begun. I think I stayed in the shower for like...an hour this morning just dumbfounded.
The only thing that really kills me is that we're ending it on an amicable (somewhat) level, so that's why I am allowing him to stay in this house until the end of the month. Dragging it out is making it so much more painful--at least for me. Apparently, there will be no "Friends with Benefits" which I guess is for the best. At this point, I guess I'm staying and keeping the home here, and he will take the townhouse in New York. I'm not sure what we're going to do with the place we have in California. We have to sort out monies, bank accounts, trusts, wills...so much crap. When you're not really talking anymore, going through stuff like this is like scratching nails on a chalkboard.
It's...a sordid mess. And I feel like...body aches. Literally.

Damn LS I feel sorry for you. Have you tried doing anything to keep your mind off your loss? There's always music, and there's Mike Tyson too. Just reading his quotes would make you forget all your troubles, and you'd at least stop thinking about your loss for a little bit. That's really the key thing with losing someone you love. You just gotta do your best not to dwell on it during the stage of fresh heartbreak. I know it's hard losing someone for 13 years, but you gotta hang in there and not let it get you down. It's cool to feel sad about it, but you can't let it control your life. Of course I'm sure you already know that, and you're happily laughing at all the other Hypsters for not being as cool as you(and me).

Damn LS....the first of several times my ex boyfriend and I broke up after being steadily together for a year and a half I cried so hard I could barely see the road in front of me driving to campus the next day. I cried myself to sleep for the next couple weeks.
I can't even begin to imagine how I would handle the breakup of a 13 year live-in relationship.
But I guess we don't know how much we can take until we're forced to. Stay strong. Don't be afraid to vent, it does help a little.

- I have a hard time feeling esteem in my value as a person.
- I believe I've been inducted into some holy secret sisterhood. Like I've made it, and I'm a sybil.
- I met a schizophrenic at the library yesterday who told me he used to believe he was the Angel of Mercy and Judgment. Glad someone understands! :awesome:
-I came all this way to find love, meaning, and purpose. I believe I will find, though I have had many struggles and disappointments in all areas.
- I went to a scientology consultation yesterday. And left.
- I want to start developing my psychic vision, now that I understand dream imagery well. If it can be expressed in symbols, I can translate and understand it. Like you can break down any math problem into -,+,x,/. I'm kinda excited about this.
- I believe in miracles. I believe in the good in everything.
- I believe I'm allied with some of the strongest forces on earth. And that frees my soul to help others.

Having shaved pits would really itch/annoy the hell outta me. I keep the pubes trimmed where "The Wild Things Are", and I keep the abs trimmed. I don't have any hair on my back (thank God), but I do have a very, very light dusting on my glutes, legs, etc. And it doesn't bother me. Don't get me wrong: I'm not hairy i.e. Wolverine by any means but...it's just not out of control enough for me to warrant shaving all of that.
I do have a few blonde hairs between my toes though. Which...is random.

When I was 15, I was drunk and had sex with this weird guy named Stephen. A few months later we got into an arguement about something and he showed my friends at the time a diary thing he'd written about it. I had to cover for myself (because image mattered to me then) so I went to his house and beat him up. I beat up a scrawny little gay kid for telling the truth. It was the only fight I'd ever been in, or was after that. I also quit weed and drinking. I feel soooo rotten to this day.

No, none at all that I knew of. My dad had managed the store a few years prior and never experienced anything. Strangely enough, my then-manager said that people only started to have experiences after I did. But everyone who worked there did. Even customers complained of some freaky ****. One guy came in and told my coworker that "[she needed] to tell [the] manager that everytime [he] came in [he] heard voices in his head." Aside from that, things would mysteriously disappear, like change that was dropped in my hand by a customer - it was suddenly just gone. She and I were totally baffled. Various items would fly off of shelves. All of us heard voices. The cooler door (a heavy, air-tight door) opened and shut by itself. Stuff like that. It was absolutely ridiculous.

A lot of that kind of stuff happened in our house. Sometimes everyone would get this odd feeling of being watched by something not friendly, we constantly heard a car pull in our drive way when no one was (we called it the ghost car), things turned themselves off/on all the time, and everyone of us saw this same old woman. After my brother saw her, everyone was freaked out cause they saw the exact same looking thing. My bro was also frozen in terror one night cause there was a huge ball of light glowing in his room, and it stayed there for like a minute, and when he screamed one of his figures he had on display fell to the ground.

I remember when I was round my mates house ages ago. Some big mini mansion in the middle of nowhere.
He had a phone upstairs and downstairs. And say you are on the phone downstairs, and someone picks up the phone upstairs, well if the person upstairs puts the phone down it hangs up both phones, if you know what I mean?
Anyway we was round there, just me and my mate. He was on the downstairs phone talking to our other mate. He then passed the phone to me and I was having a chat to him. Then I heard a sound, like someone had picked up the upstairs phone. Then the line went dead as though someone picked up the upstairs phone and put it down.
I don't believe in ghosts but there is no other way to explain that.

Well I was working late shift and was there working with a small group of people. And the newest one is always flirting with me. And standing up against my usual anti social behaviour.
I don't know what came over me but I decided to hint at having some fun while I was cleaning up the back room. She had to take a hour lunch while I had to take a 30. I'm seriously not a very social person but I don't how I swung the odds in my favor to get what I needed. I got the manager since the store was quite dead to overlap are breaks. We got in her car parked in the back of the dark parking lot. And wa la.
I was constantly paranoid while in the car, looking for drivers passing by.
Went back to work we had awkward moments for about 2 weeks afterwords. Then I quit and flew out to LA

There was nothing awkward about that. Opportunities like that are moments to be bragged about and vividly remembered when those opportunities fail to resurface anytime in the near future.
Unless she was strictly a person with a face only a crotch could love.
Yea man you should savour this! Not complain about it!
Skiving off from work to go have a bit of the ol "hows your father". That's quality!

Thats the last time I have had any sort of "special attention" given since last December. And your right oppurtunites do fail to resurface.
Also being a naturally quiet person doesn't help my chances either

People wear snuggies in public?
Yeah. There was a story on the news here a couple of weeks ago about a 'Snug-crawl'. I can't remember if it was for any specific cause or not, but all of these people were wearing their snuggies on a pub crawl. Supposedly, the bars were giving free drinks to anyone who showed up wearing one.

Sometimes when me and my ex Mark and his best friend Kristin go somewhere out of the area where no one knows us, we like to pretend we're foreigners, just for our own entertainment.
Tonight we went to Grove City, Pennsylvania and they went as English brother and sister named Aiden and Adelaide, while I was their German friend Werner.
Mark and Kristin have both fooled actual English people into thinking they're English, but I can't do an English accent to save my life. I can however, apparently pull off a German one (and also speak just enough German to sound like I know what I'm saying).

I am quite disappointed by our cast for Les Miz. Our Jean Valjean can barely sing and is basically clueless, our Javert is a dick and can't sing at all, our Eponine can't belt, and our Cosette can barely squeak a high C. The major leads are going to be upstaged by me as Fantine, the 10-year-old playing Gavroche, and the featured factory girl.

Let me guess, they were mostly cast due to their physical appearance? Type casting is the worst. :down

Valjean looks like a younger, even more annoying Hayden Christensen, but without even the sometimes adorable angst... Javert looks kinda like a jock... Eponine looks... well, kind of Lea Salonga-like... Cosette is actually a blonde.
