House of F created a team called 'Freaks X' with new characters with the Codenames, powers and actual names listed above.

I think 'Lizard Skin' is an amphibious looking mutant that has the ability to accelerate the mutation already present in some mutants.

'Demon' is a monster-like mutant that has wings and is covered in 'Acid Flames'

'Feral' and 'Lycanthrope' are multicoloured werewolf like characters who are brother and sister.

'Chase Destiny' projects peoples consciousness into the future or past (like he said).

'Jet' - Can cover himself and his sorroundings in organic metal, and 'produce jet-like energy' (im not sure about what that means)

and 'The Bloggers' are the three brothers and one sister of Jet who share his 'Jet like energy powers' and can merge into a ball shape, presumably for defesive and offensive combat.




I think that's right. Anyway, when it comes down to it, I don't really like the idea and the characters. It's just nothing I would really be interested in.

X-CELL

Phaser
Full control over his vocal chords allow him make his voice sound like anything he wants. This includes sounding like other people, and Michael Winslow-esque sound effects. He can also increase the frequency of his voice to enduce sleepiness and nausea, and shatter glass. Cannot alter the volume or intensity of his voice like Banshee or Siryn.

Spectral
Full light manipulation allows her to create illusions, turn invisible, and perceive the infared and ultraviolet light spectrums. Also makes a handy human flashlight.

Psionica
Has the ability to shed her physical form and become pure psychic energy. In this form, she can only be seen and heard by living beings receptive to telepaths. She is highly receptive to residual psychic energy, can eavesdrop on other people's telepathic messages, reads minds by phasing into the heads of others, and requires concentration to physically (see also: telekinetically) interact with solid objects.

Pullback
Through physical touch, he can place a unique magnetic field around a metal object. He can then manipulate this object any way he pleases, including using it as a magnet of either polarity. He lines the bottoms of his boots with steel, allowing him to simulate flight. He also wears steel wristbands, which he uses to attract in nearby metallic objects.

Fold-Out
Teleporter. Folds the universe around him to create a sub-spatial rip that he can enter and exit at any location. Leaving these portals open exhausts him, and runs the risk causing a dangerous yet small explosion.

Chip
Feral. She has enhanced senses, strength, and agility. Her codename comes from her chipmunk-like buck teeth.

It's the not too distant future and a new generation of X-Men has emerged...welcome to Age-X: Children of the Atom.

Crimson/Katherine-Anne Summers: Daughter of Cyclops and Emma Frost. Named after her grandmother. Has a strong disdain for her mother after discovering her sordid past. This has prompted her to dye her hair red in order to anger her even more. A huge flirt with few inhibitions and a lust for life. Has the ability to manipulate the same energy her father's optic blasts consist of.

Harbinger/Charles Summers: Crimson's twin brother. Named after Xavier. A mutant supremicst and anarchist who has taken Magneto's old views to the extreme. Has left the Institute to start a new brotherhood. His powers are a mix of his father's and mother's. Whenever he makes eye contact with someone without his ruby-quartz shades, he psionically enters their mind, causing extreme chaos.

Blitz/Nileena Munroe: Daughter of Storm and Wolverine after a brief past relationship. Like her mother she is kind, graceful, and serene, but like both her parents she is a ferocious force of nature in battle. Has the ability to manifest claws of pure electricity resembling her fathers'.

Cain Neramani Xavier: Son of Xavier and Lilandra. Named after his step-uncle. Grew up with his mother on the Shi'Ar homeworld. Strongly resented his father for leaving him at such a young age to return to Earth. Looks up to Gladiator as a father figure. At his mother's urging he has travelled to Earth and joined the X-Men. Though he is a fierce and proud warrior, Cain possesses no mutant genes.

Cajun/Ettienne LeBeau: The son of Gambit and Rogue. Nobody is quite sure of how Ettinne was born or even conceived for that matter, and his parents have kept that a tightly guarded secret. Leads the X-Men however he has a bit of a rebellious streak that worries his parents. His body continuously generates kinetic energy which grants him superspeed, agility, and limited flight.

Brit/Brittany Braddock: The daughter of Captain Britain and Meggan from an alternate timeline. She is sweet, honest, and kind, the definition of a good girl. Finding that both her parents were deceased in this timeline, she fell under the custody of her aunt, Psylocke. Has the ability to create powerful illusions, levitate, and speak with the earth.

Ajax/Peter Rasputin Jr.: The son of Colossus and Nereel, the Savage Land tribal warrior. In a fierce battle with a rival tribe Peter was the only survivor. With nothing left for him in the Savage Land, he travelled to the Institute where he now lives with his father who is now married to Shadowcat. Very willing to please his father as best he can, Peter quickly learned all he could and is a very studious young man. Has the ability to grow to towering heights.

Actually back in the day I wrote a little fanfic team idea Called Exodus.

Storyline: long before HoM about an alternate future timeline 30-40 years in the future where a group of mutants hellbent on superiority essentially erradicated most of the population of humans and mutants alike by combining the powers of two super mutants whose abilities reacted with each other creating a doomsday type scenario. One had the ability to essentially catalyst another mutants powers temporarilly making it much much stronger but doing so drained his life force and the other one had the ability to sap the power of all mutants in an certain area and turn that into pure energy then all the superheroes come in being tricked by a powerful psychic mutant into thinking that they needed to attack this mutant in order to prevent an explosion this mutant is enpowered by the catalyst mutant costing that one his life but he saps nearly all the x-teams and super hero and fellow super villian mutants in a massive upheavel of power and the power gets so great that he essentially explodes in a massive energy explosion (imagine something like 10 nuclear bombs igniting at once . In a moment of necessity a very aged and battered wolverine (and facing bouts of senility) locks away a small group of young x-kid survivors in an old bomb shelter . They come out a day later or so and see the aftermath of the world.

Characters:

Logan: The same one we all know of course, yet he has a more beaten and ragged appearence. His hair is white, his movement slower and less refined. He is overwhelmed again with grief over what happened after realizing his son (who was found, had similar powers as his tho more feral and furry and no metal) was lost in the fight. After so many years of dealing with trauma he is slowly going senile. His heightened senses, agility, and such are dulled. He is still strong and a great fighter but no where near his hayday and that is another thing he is finally having to deal with. The fact that he is getting old and will eventually die and has nothing to show for his life, everyone he ever cared about or loved is dead, again and with the world in it's current state it doesn't look like things will be changing any time soon.

and then the new members:

Absynth: A small, attractive female with green skin and hair. Pixie like wings capable of short flight or gliding. Able to cause someone to go into a sort of awakened lucic dreamstate. They are still awake but reality and fantasy sort of collide into one confusion of hallucinations. A very mischevious and pucklike character.

Wailer: The offspring of Siryn and Cannonball. She essentially has the ability to force propel herself by directing sonic energy from her body. She does not have the invulernability of her father , but she does have the ability of turn that kinetic energy of her being hit or crashing let's say into a directed thermal energy she can expel through her hands. Sort of your depressed teen angst, average teen girl.

Shiva: a blue skinned, four armed mutant with the ability to essentially manipulate life force. Cannot create it at will, but can sort of move it from one place to another. Also very skilled with a trident weapon. A very rage filled individual bent on vengence.

Eyesore: The ability to shoot a thermal energy beam from his eyes. When he first developed this ability the process literally burnt his eyeballs right out of their socket blinding him. Because he is blind his other senses are enchanced, though not to a superhuman level. He does have a sort of thermal detection ability that allows him to sort of sense body heat of things around him which allows him to aim or target but he cannot actually "see" them. Think of a non-martial artist daredevil with flame eyes.

Cronus: Ability to grow to abnormally large size. Sort of your basic bruiser character although he is actually the youngest and least trained of all the characters. Only about 13 years old or so but with immense strength and power. Imagine the hulk during a temper tantrum. haha

ahh... I don't feel like typing this all out again. There was another that could control the flow of anything liquid and a telepathic feral fur girl. And then all the bad mutants. Anyway it sort of was written like a mad-max/fallout meets x-verse.

Funny thing is that it ends up only half the world is decimated and they have no clue, and the other half who found out about what happened are essentially walling themselves off, killing mutants, and arming themselves thinking that the destruction of the other half of the world was just a first wave attack.

It was actually rather well accepted but I just never got around to writing it further than the initial story and plot summaries for future stories.

D.A.N. (day and night) -ability to absorb and discarge light molecules.Can create total darkness by absorbing all light molecules witin an area. Can fire light molecles (light beam) and fire blast that pushes away light (dark beam).Can fly by controling the light molecules aroung him to lift him up creates a glow around him.

Cure- can heal or posion people. Can abosrb bacteria from infection and diplace it in other orginisims. Can Also distroy bacteria. Can hold viruses and bacteria in her body in pockets in her arms. Also able to speed up healing procees of others.

Element- Can Create fire and water and can manipulate The eath and wind . can fly (just think storm ) by controlling the wind around her. Uses japanesse characters of the element she uses to (summen) her powers

Guns- has abnormaly large arms and fist(think ludas video "get back") in credibly dence skin and bone in his arms makeing them near imdestructable but leaveing torso vulnerable.

i also had one i thought of named Druggie (yeah i know its cheesy) who could alter his brain chemistry at will and essentially make himself feel any type of "buzz" he could think of this would come in handy in certain situations where if he was fighting he could make himself feel the effects of say pcp and then would have superhuman strength and a very high threshold for pain

These elemental types seem a bit too powerful even for the god-like mutants that came out of marvel back in the day.

Belladonna Boudreaux - Due to the events of HoM, Belladonna's powers have drastically changed from her previous plasma blasting abilities. She is now capable of shredding space around her, causing "rips" in reality. When causing a rip in one location, she can manifest another rip in another location, connecting the two rips through an unknown dimentional continuum. (Imagine her poking an interdimentional hole through thin air, punching through it and then watching her fist punch out somewhere else.) She can also offensively use the concussive force of her rips. I havn't thought up a new codename for her. Help, maybe? :)

Tarot - Marie-Ange Colbert. One of Emma's original Hellions. The only one to have survived the Trevor Fitzroy debacle that killed off the other Hellions. HoM has also modified her powers. While keeping her precognition, her initial mutation of giving images physicality has severely evolved. She can now manipulate the molecules of any inorganic object, rearranging them and altering their overall texture. (Think of Tarot taking... lets say... a pencil and reshaping it to look like a sword. Size, texture and all. Or maybe taking a shoelace or something and reshaping it into a whip.) With this ability, Tarot is the ultimate weaponist. She still uses her trademark tarot cards.

The story

Initially, Emma sends Domino to locate Belladonna after realizing that she holds omega-level potential. Emma assigns Domino to Belladonna as somewhat of a bodyguard, fearing that many will seek Belladonna for her power. Domino then decides to utilize her partnership with Belladonna to *omgcliche* carry out Xavier's dream as a traveling X-Corporation of sorts. Emma adds former student Tarot to the team and the trio is off handling mutant affairs throughout the country. Tarot holds a grudge against Emma because basically, she has come to the conclusion that Emma far too often leads the innocent to their demise. Overtime, the team discovers that one of Tarot’s former Hellion comrades, Catseye, has been revived by HoM. Still naïve about the world around her, (considering she grew up thinking she was a cat) Catseye follows Tarot, develops a dependent sister/sister relationship with her and acquires the same grudge against Emma. On a mission in Canada, the team is joined by Sunpyre and together they discover that Diamond Lil is still alive and incapacitated by the Weapon X program. Domino’s team rescues Lillian and out of gratitude, Lillian decides to join. The stories go on…

Vapor (Good Ol Corny Marvel Name)
He is the son of Iceman and Firestar.

He is called Vapor because of the fact that he can take the form of a heavy mist. While in this form he can enter a person (or mutant's) body and take control.

While he can take control of one's mind, he cannot stay long. If he surpasses more than an hour at a time inside, he loses his identity and actually becomes a part of that person. This power usually only works on weak minded individuals, as the strongest minds must first be weakened to allow his entry.

Crystal/Courtney LeSalle: Has the ability to condense trace minerals in the air into super-hard diamond-like structures. A spoiled little rich girl from Beverly Hills, extremely flirtatious and arrogant. Currently dating Rebound, completely aware of Adrenaline's feelings towards him.

Sensor/Kashi Toyomaka: Has super-enhanced senses, including x-ray vision, thermal vision, and the ability to sense other mutants, along with a limited sense of precognition. A zen buddhist trained extensively in the martial arts in order to keep his abilities from overwhelming him. A calm and meditative man.

Baggage/A.J. Clemmons: Has the ability to bring forth all of the negative and emotional memories of a person, essentially overwhelming them with depression. Leads the red team, but isn't very confident in himself and is very insecure about his hidden homosexuality.

Viral/Tanya Danner: Has the ability to infect other living creatures with a replica of her own genetic structure, temporarily transforming them into a fully sentient clone of herself. Somewhat unstable and dangerous considering her abilities.

Armor/Zacharias Dj'aiut: Has the ability to transform into a set of living, bio-metalic armor, adaptable armor. In his natural state he is nearly invincible Usually allows his teammates to wear him during battle. An exceptional team player who relies on the mental connection with his wearer to communicate for him since he only knows his native tounge of Swahili.

Amnesia/Terry Gershwin: Has the ability to temporarily induce a state of amnesia on any person, jamming the synapses that connect to the part of the brain responsible for memories. Leads the Gold Team. Still very wary of her abilities and feels like she needs to bare the weight of her entire team.

Blindside/Victor Carson: A blind mutant, has the ability to run at superhuman speeds, in addition he can only see when he's moving at superspeed. Jocular, and cocky but in a good natured manner, lifts the spirits of his fellow X-Men.

Ghost/Tommy Gold: Has the ability to become completely invisible to the brink of nonexistance. He can become undetectable to sight, scent, and sound. He can become completely intangible, as well as heat negative, radar negative, and psychically undetectable. Somewhat distanced and aloof, doesn't care what others think of him.

Juice/Amanda Jefferies: Has the ability to gain super-strength and speed when she drinks a certain brand of fruit juice. The effects generally last two hours or so. Generally an easy person to get along with, unless her burgeoning addiction to the juice is brought up.

Flatscan/Bo Crenshaw: While he has been confirmed to possess the x-gene designating him a mutant, Flatscan has no detectable powers. To the common eye he is by all means a baseline human. Despite much protest, he has earned a place on the team. Suffers from a serious issue of underconfidence and depression.

Those are really good ideas. For Flatscan though if he didnt have any powers i think he would need to be overconfident to compensate for his lack of ability, i mean otherwise hes just a guy with no powers and no confidence, why would he be there? Rebound sounds the best, he could have really good offensive and defensive moves.

Update regarding my earlier posts with full character designssss.


Belladonna Boudreaux - Due to the events of HoM, Belladonna's powers have drastically changed from her previous plasma blasting abilities. She is now capable of shredding space around her, causing "rips" in reality. When causing a rip in one location, she can manifest another rip in another location, connecting the two rips through an unknown dimentional continuum. (Imagine her poking an interdimentional hole through thin air, punching through it and then watching her fist punch out somewhere else.) She can also offensively use the concussive force of her rips. I havn't thought up a new codename for her. Help, maybe? :)

Tarot - Marie-Ange Colbert. One of Emma's original Hellions. The only one to have survived the Trevor Fitzroy debacle that killed off the other Hellions. HoM has also modified her powers. While keeping her precognition, her initial mutation of giving images physicality has severely evolved. She can now manipulate the molecules of any inorganic object, rearranging them and altering their overall texture. (Think of Tarot taking... lets say... a pencil and reshaping it to look like a sword. Size, texture and all. Or maybe taking a shoelace or something and reshaping it into a whip.) With this ability, Tarot is the ultimate weaponist. She still uses her trademark tarot cards.

Powers/Abilities: The atoms of Halle's body vibrate at a much higher frequency than those of normal matter. As such her body is constantly vibrating at such high speeds that she is perpetually blurred to the human eye. Whenever she is in contact with an object or person her vibrations will pass into them, causing inorganic objects to shake to the point of breaking or living creatures to shake to the point of going into shock. Since Halle's vocal chords vibrate at a much higher frequency than those of normal humans her voice is incredibly high pitched, when she speaks she can cause headaches as well as unconcioussness.

Equipment: Halle has been provided with a special pair of boots that keep her vibrations from disrupting the ground beneath, as well as a pair of gauntlets that do the same for when she touches other objects or people. She is able to release the vibrations through the gauntlets should she choose to. Halle has also been provided with a special voice modulator, bringing the pitch of her voice down to a more audible level.

Rather then create new characters i've expanded and developed a new X-Team out of the students at the school.

Phoenix Alone / Celeste Cuckoo: The last of the Stepford Cuckoos and leader of the X-men. Celeste was revealed to have been the sister that was chossen by the Phoenix force as it's new host. This caused a rift between her and Phoebe who became jealous of Celeste great power. Phoebe then defected to Apocalypse and became his horsewoman Death. During her attack on her Celeste, Mindee got in the way trying to stop the fight between her sisters but was killed by Phoebe. Angered Celeste turned on Phoebe, but unable to kill her remaining sister, she used her powers to absorb Phoebe's mind into her own keeping it locked away inside her and leaving her body a vegetable. Her powers are now that of an Omega level telepath, along with those of the Phoenix, but she is a troubled individual as influences of the now evil Phoebe tend to come out in her personality and actions from time to time.

Hellion / Julian Keller: Co-leader of the X-men, and lover of Celeste. During a battle with former teammate turned enemy Wither/Kevin Ford, Hellion became the victim of his death touch. Through the sheer will and concentration of his personality he was able to use his telekinetic powers to hold his conciousness together and 'house' it in a new body made souly of his telekinetic energy, despite his real body crumbling to dust. Though he is happy to be alive, this new body of his is unable to feel any sensation which causes a problems between him and Celeste.

Dust / Sooraya Qadir: After years of growing up in America Dust has culturalised to life in the west and has abandoned her burqa infavor for an X-men uniform and Hajib scarf that she wears with pride. She has come to realise that her desire to be hidden away from the eyes of men was due to underlying homosexual urges within herself and is now an open lesbian. She experience a brief and loving relationship with former student Bling/Roxy Washington until she was killed in an explosion during one of the X-Mens battles. Sooraya still keeps a small fragment of Bling's crystaline body that is now dust and holds it within herself to remember her by.

Wolfsbane / Nicholas Gleason: Adopted his new codename in honour of the original Wolfsbane/ Rhane Sinclair, after her death at the hands of the returned Dominant Species that came to recruit both him and Rhane. He has seriously gotten into body building and is known as the muscle of the group, though he is a sensitive soul despite his lycan outburst. His lycan mutation has also developed that when he bites other people with compatible blood types, he temporarily gives them slight werewolf-like characteristics and are under his control.

Trance / Hope Abbot: The only person present at the death of Emma Frost and Cyclops at the hands of a deranged Wolverine, leaving her permenantly suffering from post-traumatic-stress-disorder. Though curcumstancs of Wolverines escape are unkown, her fellow teammates are sucpicious that Hope knows something. Felt left out from her teammates she secretly leaves each night in her Astral form (which is immune to psychic as wel as physical attacks, and is capable of posession, as well as psychic and energy disruption) and joins the New Hell Fire Club as their White Queen in hopes of solving some big mystery regarding Emma and Cyclop's death.

Elixir / Josh Foley: The only surviving memeber of the New Mutants squad after the rest of his teammates were killed during the attack by Wither. He has become even more of a hard arse and lost all of his humours attitude. His powers have developed further to the point that he can control all human metabolic functions, as well as heal disease and injury upon physical contact. Though he has a fondness and slight romantic interests in Trance, unlike the rest of his distrusting teammates, he is deeply depressed and blames himself for not being able to save his former teammates and commits suicide every night in the privacy of his room, but his mutation kicks in everytime healing him and bringing him back to life.

What do you guys think? I know its a bit depressing for alot of the character but Hey!! post M-Day the kids have a though future full of heartache ahead of them. Let me know if u wanna hear more...

Actually back in the day I wrote a little fanfic team idea Called Exodus.

Storyline: long before HoM about an alternate future timeline 30-40 years in the future where a group of mutants hellbent on superiority essentially erradicated most of the population of humans and mutants alike by combining the powers of two super mutants whose abilities reacted with each other creating a doomsday type scenario. One had the ability to essentially catalyst another mutants powers temporarilly making it much much stronger but doing so drained his life force and the other one had the ability to sap the power of all mutants in an certain area and turn that into pure energy then all the superheroes come in being tricked by a powerful psychic mutant into thinking that they needed to attack this mutant in order to prevent an explosion this mutant is enpowered by the catalyst mutant costing that one his life but he saps nearly all the x-teams and super hero and fellow super villian mutants in a massive upheavel of power and the power gets so great that he essentially explodes in a massive energy explosion (imagine something like 10 nuclear bombs igniting at once . In a moment of necessity a very aged and battered wolverine (and facing bouts of senility) locks away a small group of young x-kid survivors in an old bomb shelter . They come out a day later or so and see the aftermath of the world.

Characters:

Logan: The same one we all know of course, yet he has a more beaten and ragged appearence. His hair is white, his movement slower and less refined. He is overwhelmed again with grief over what happened after realizing his son (who was found, had similar powers as his tho more feral and furry and no metal) was lost in the fight. After so many years of dealing with trauma he is slowly going senile. His heightened senses, agility, and such are dulled. He is still strong and a great fighter but no where near his hayday and that is another thing he is finally having to deal with. The fact that he is getting old and will eventually die and has nothing to show for his life, everyone he ever cared about or loved is dead, again and with the world in it's current state it doesn't look like things will be changing any time soon.

and then the new members:

Absynth: A small, attractive female with green skin and hair. Pixie like wings capable of short flight or gliding. Able to cause someone to go into a sort of awakened lucic dreamstate. They are still awake but reality and fantasy sort of collide into one confusion of hallucinations. A very mischevious and pucklike character.

Wailer: The offspring of Siryn and Cannonball. She essentially has the ability to force propel herself by directing sonic energy from her body. She does not have the invulernability of her father , but she does have the ability of turn that kinetic energy of her being hit or crashing let's say into a directed thermal energy she can expel through her hands. Sort of your depressed teen angst, average teen girl.

Shiva: a blue skinned, four armed mutant with the ability to essentially manipulate life force. Cannot create it at will, but can sort of move it from one place to another. Also very skilled with a trident weapon. A very rage filled individual bent on vengence.

Eyesore: The ability to shoot a thermal energy beam from his eyes. When he first developed this ability the process literally burnt his eyeballs right out of their socket blinding him. Because he is blind his other senses are enchanced, though not to a superhuman level. He does have a sort of thermal detection ability that allows him to sort of sense body heat of things around him which allows him to aim or target but he cannot actually "see" them. Think of a non-martial artist daredevil with flame eyes.

Cronus: Ability to grow to abnormally large size. Sort of your basic bruiser character although he is actually the youngest and least trained of all the characters. Only about 13 years old or so but with immense strength and power. Imagine the hulk during a temper tantrum. haha

ahh... I don't feel like typing this all out again. There was another that could control the flow of anything liquid and a telepathic feral fur girl. And then all the bad mutants. Anyway it sort of was written like a mad-max/fallout meets x-verse.

Funny thing is that it ends up only half the world is decimated and they have no clue, and the other half who found out about what happened are essentially walling themselves off, killing mutants, and arming themselves thinking that the destruction of the other half of the world was just a first wave attack.

It was actually rather well accepted but I just never got around to writing it further than the initial story and plot summaries for future stories.

Rebound/Deshawn Washington: Has the ability to surround himself in an invisible force-field of hyper-accelerated electrons, enabling him to bounce off of objects at near sonic speeds. Allows for a degree of super-strength and super-speed. A strong leader and fierce combatant.

Adrenaline/Andrea Thompson: Has the ability to greatly increase her adrenaline flow throughout her body granting her temporary boosts in strength, speed, agility, and stamina. If she pushes her power too far for too long she grows extremely tired and risks serious damage to her respiratory system. Kind and genuine, she has a serious crush on Deshawn who is unaware of his best friend's feelings towards him.

Migrane/Adam Peters: Has the ability to gather concentrated amounts of psychic energy within another person's brain until it is released in a psionic explosion. The effects range from extreme pain to unconciousness to death. A shy, withdrawn boy, he ran away from home after his power accidentally caused the death of his grandfather.

Crystal/Courtney LeSalle: Has the ability to condense trace minerals in the air into super-hard diamond-like structures. A spoiled little rich girl from Beverly Hills, extremely flirtatious and arrogant. Currently dating Rebound, completely aware of Adrenaline's feelings towards him.

Sensor/Kashi Toyomaka: Has super-enhanced senses, including x-ray vision, thermal vision, and the ability to sense other mutants, along with a limited sense of precognition. A zen buddhist trained extensively in the martial arts in order to keep his abilities from overwhelming him. A calm and meditative man.

Red Team
Baggage/A.J. Clemmons: Has the ability to bring forth all of the negative and emotional memories of a person, essentially overwhelming them with depression. Leads the red team, but isn't very confident in himself and is very insecure about his hidden homosexuality.

Viral/Tanya Danner: Has the ability to infect other living creatures with a replica of her own genetic structure, temporarily transforming them into a fully sentient clone of herself. Somewhat unstable and dangerous considering her abilities.

Armor/Zacharias Dj'aiut: Has the ability to transform into a set of living, bio-metalic armor, adaptable armor. In his natural state he is nearly invincible Usually allows his teammates to wear him during battle. An exceptional team player who relies on the mental connection with his wearer to communicate for him since he only knows his native tounge of Swahili.

Pockets/Keisha Hopkins: Has the ability to shrink objects and place them into small pocket dimensions surrounding her body, pulling them out whenever she wants. A rational, well-educated young woman who is still uncomfortable with her mutancy.

Shotgun/Will Emmery: Has the ability to shoot powerful concussive blasts of "energy shot", that burst like those of a shotgun from his forearms. Extremely proud of his abilities, but also an extreme biggot, who is very antagonistic to his ethnic teammates.

Hey guys I'm a little new here and I hope to be a regular and will try to avoid stepping on anyone's toes. Anyway, I'm a big fan of New X-Men and I like the whole racial mix of characters they have. I'm also a fan of Maverick(Maverick not Agent Zero). I wish Marvel would bring him back. Anyway,if Maverick were to mentor a bunch of young Mutants in New X-Men, he'd probably name them Team X after his old team with Wraith,Logan and Sabretooth and probably would go all military on them. I can just imagine people calling him Colonel Klink behind his back on account that he's German and all.

Cauldron
Yusuf Abdullah,a young Malaysian kid who suffers from Iron deficiency anemia. His X-Gene allows his body to absorb materials such as metals and rocks to take in Iron but filters out the rest in the form of Kinetic energy bolts. At certain times experiences light-headedness from his condition.Smart,calm and mature for his age, he more or less is the leader of the group but often doubts himself because he isn't a fine physical specimen(weighing in at around 99 pounds and 5"4 in height). He's not a fancy dresser, usually a plain shirt or T-Shirt with a pair of cargo pants.Has a thing for the Autobot/Maximal symbol.Dark complexion(a little Hispanic looking,most Malays look like Hispanic peoples) and has long black hair to his neck that he ties in a rough tail. Sharp Asian features, a small guy by most standards.

Edge(Yeah probably used I know)
Yaron Spichowsenburgski(prounounced Spi-cow-sen-berg-ski), a New Yorker with a unique ability to concentrate the molecules about him into 'blades' of sorts.Throws them around like invisible shurikens. A little cocky and reckless but has a good heart and a lot of courage. Also is cursed with the ability to calculate incredibly difficult calculations with his mind ala Rainman on account that both his folks are Mathematicans. Has this whole nerd-denial thing going. He's a blondie with Thor-like hair(yes...Thor-like).Likes to dress like a punk with torn jeans, faded denim jacket and all. Sometimes wears glasses(very very seldom).Probably the best looking of the group since he's a player.

Kim Sung Li, a young North Korean girl with an introvert personality. Was a member of the N.Korean Junior Gymnastics team but was forced to quit when her mutant power manifested. She's able to cover herself in a diamond-hard bone carpace of sorts that spawns from her petruding spine. Has natural acrobatic skills but holds back because of her shyness and shame of her physical appearance(which isn't so bad...but hey,girls).She dresses in very discreet outfits.Long skirt,plain blouse and a brown woolen sweater she wears because she's afraid people will notice her spine. I envisioned her with this cute mousy look, always avoiding eye contact and such.Has long black hair that she ties in a ponytail.

Koyote(hey it starts with a 'K' right?)
Marcus 'Mack' Kingsley, a Mississippi-born 800 pound 7 foot Werewolf-like miner with an odd taste for Bob Marley and Jamaican hair beads. A real laid back guy despite his appearance, well-liked by his townsfolk despite being a mutant(the only gripe they have with him is the Reggae thing and the beads). Like Wolvie and Sabertooth has acute senses and animal-like instincts but prefers to just chill(think Grunge from Gen 13 minus the whole idiot complexity). Cares deeply for his friends and only goes totally beserk when they are threatened.Ever played Vampire Hunter?Or seen Darkstalkers?You know that Werewolf guy Taleban?Yeah,something like that. Mack prefers to go bare-bodied with nothing but his black-silver fur with some beads in the back of his head(Buffalo Soldier style) and wears a pair of tight fitting trousers.Sometimes he wears an unbuttoned bright orange Hawaiian shirt for kicks.

Maria Clemente, born in the Barios of East LA with the power to change the perceptions of others and cast mind-boggling illusions. She has some telepathy but avoids using it as it causes her some pain. She's the spirit of the team, the glue that keeps them together. She's the one who tries to help out Sung Li by making her more open or shows confidence in Yusuf's de facto leadership. She dreams of being a documentary maker, growing up on National Geographic as well as MTV. Maria has a thing for leather.Leather pants,leather jacket leather boots...the works.She ain't Goth mind you, she just likes black leather. Like a good Catholic, she wears a silver cross pendant and has a 'Madre Dios' insignia on her jacket. She's wild and flamboyant.The partying kind of girl but with dignity.

As with my previous post on page 4 of this thread, i am creating future X-Teams consisting of the future selves of Xavier's remaining students (as seen mainly in New X-Men). Here is another X-Team from that world i've created and their called Squadron X...

Anole / Victor Brokowski -
Aside from his established powers of camoflauge, wall climbing, and prehensile tongue, Victor had previously trained with and learnt the X-men Nightcrawler's style of acrobatic combat. He has also developed night vision, and an instinctive (non psychic) form of pre-cognition where he can predict the outcome of an opponents actions or attacks, just seconds before it is carried out. Very similar to the sensor perceptions of certain reptiles when hunting.

After graduating from Xaviers, Victor tried to enjoy a civilian life as a lawyer working for Evangeline Whedon. However, one day while researching, he came across information regarding his old Alpha Squadron mentor Northstar, and the SHIELD coverup regarding his HYDRA brainwashing. After further research Victor discovered that Northstar, still not deprogrammed, had recently escaped from SHIELD custody and suppossedly returned to HYDRA with a top secret SHIELD weapon. Suprised at the information that Northstar was alive, since being told by Emma and Cyclops that he was dead, Victor contacted the remaining powered members of the old Alpha Squadron Indra, and Loa, as well Indra's wife Pixie (former Paragon). Out of respect for their old mentor they have begun a search from him, in hopes of helping him, and retrieving the stolen weapon before it can be used.

Loa / Alani Ryan -
Alani's molecular distortion powers allowing her to 'swim' through solid matter, leaving it crumbled behind have developed so that she can distort energy fields such as force fields and telekinetic fields as well, but only during extreme concentration. She can also project this distortion power in the form of small energy bolts that can temporarily distort energy & electrical fields in a similar way to Shadowcat's phasing ability. When projected at people, this distortion wave temporarily distrupts the moleculer cohesion of a person's molecules causing them extreme pain and can even knock them out.

After transfering to a normal school back in her native Hawaii, from Xaviers in her final year, to care for her mother dying of cancer. Alani become a hard as nails individual due to being the only powered mutant on the island, and faced constant prejudice. Yet she endured it for her mother's sake, until one night mutant protestors set fire to there house while she was grocery shopping killing her mother inside. Angered Alani participated in various acts of mutant terrorism with former Xavier's classmate Match until she recieved a call from her former Alpha Squadron leader Anole to help him find the long believed dead Northstar. Feeling that this was sign to save herself from a path of anger and hate (after killing several people during a terrorist attack), Alani saw this as her path to salvation, so she answered Anoles plea for help. Her teammates are unaware of the extent of her terrorist activities, and she worries about how they will react if they find out, and because of this fear she tends to shut her self away emotion from her teammates, dispite a growing friendship with Pixie.

Indra / Paras Gavaskar -
Has the ability to produce retractible bio-armor, that can be either sectional or cover his entire body. He has also learnt how to shape this armour into a variety of protruding shapes, including; wolverine like claws, a long sword, and a large shield.

Indra is known as the silent warrior as he became mute upon manifestation of his mutant powers due to one of his tractible armor plates residing where his voice box should be when retracted (we've never seen him speak in the comics so far), and communicates through sign language. While at Xavier's he developed a relationship with fellow classmate Pixie. They got serious and upon graduation he proposed and they married. They settled down in the quiet countryside of Snowdonian Valley in Pixie's native homeland of Wales, UK, where they ran a small pub and bed & breakfeast. They were content with civilian life until Indra recieved the call from Anole regarding Northstar, out of respect and honour for his original mentor Indra answered Anoles call for help, and Pixie joined him.

Pixie / Meggan Gwynn -
Insect like mutatation has granted her butterfly like wings enabling extremely menuverable flight, they also produce a 'pixie dust' that originally caused hallucinations to whomever breathed them. However, Pixies can now produce 'pixie dust' that induces both fear, sleep, infatuation, and paralysis. She also has the ability to see all wavelengths of the electro-magnetic spectrum, just like insects.

Meggan is the wife of fellow teammate Indra (see above). Though not an original member of the Alpha Squadron team, she joins the mission to search for Northstar so as to keep an eye on her husband. She wishes to return to civilian life and is eager to start a family, but Indra's desire to help his former mentor prevents this. She is a reluctant member of the group, yet her positive and caring nature is what often keeps the teams spirits high. She is also developing a friendship with Loa, whom she suspects is deeply troubled and is keen to help her. Eventually during the search for Northstar Pixie realises that she is pregnant, and is now battling with the decision to whether or not leave the team or stayby her husband. She is the only member of the team who understands sign language, and thus is Indra's only means of communicating with the team.

So what do you guys think of this one? I know they aren't the most exciting characters in Xavier's but thought i'd try to work something with Alpha Squadron finding out that Northstar is alive.

He looks down and he sees his hands are fine, but the claws remain. He uncurls his hands and the claws retract, leaving scars around his knuckles. After a few months of understanding he controls when the claws come out. But now a new batch of powers arise ... Psionic powers emerge ... he can create molten plasma. He then starts to research his life and his parents and he does a DNA test. He finds out his father is alive and mother deceased. He finds out who he is, the name haunts him ... Wolverine.
He goes on a journey to find him ... the mansion at Westminster, NY.

Sorry can't take the credit for that. My characters are actual characters in the X-Comics, they are students studying a Xavier's, mostly seen in New X-men. The majority of them have only been used as reoccuing background characters (such as indra, pixie, etc) with no character development whatsoever, while other like wolf cub, anole, quill have had some character development, but not as much as the main student characters of New X-Men.

What have doe is created backstories and developed their powers to where i think they would be after leaving Xaviers. So i haven't really created anything, just created what i think the future of the x-men will turn out. After all these students are the future or the X-men.

Name: Mina "Moi" Bijou

Eyes: Reddish/golden

Mutation: Ability to make the molecules go faster and create an intense heat (1000º-3000º). Her body produces a purple-reddish energy that can incinerates or explode almost every organic element... including herself. She is able to incinerate or explode her body to ashes in a couple of seconds and regenerate herself in a few minutes, what makes her a Walking Fire Bomb. She can incinerate telepatically anything organic in a field of action of 3-5 m and throw fire bombs up to 10-12 m. Due to this energy, her body is always at a very high temperature (from 100º to 500º when not using her powers), being uncapable of touching anything organic without burn it. Because of the intense heat, her liquids become vapor and for this her body is very light, so she can float 2-3 m from the floor.

Costume: A special dark-black purple suit made of fireproof materials that covers her full body. Purple face mask made of the same materials.

Character: Kinda sarcastic and hot-headed (pun intended), despite her isolation due to her powers, she is a very friendly and talkative person. She loves punk music, books and get into troubles in and out of the Xavier Institute. Being a bit immature, she loves hanging out with the younger students and driving the older X-Men mad.

Her powers appeared in her late teens: a bunch of young hooligans tried to stole her MP3 player while she was taking a walk, making her explote because of the wrath and tanning a bit their skins... After that, she could not wear any clothes because she burnt them due to the heat she produced. She tried to hide it wearing a firefighter's suit (fireproof, stolen from a fire station) under big clothes, so people thought she just had got fat. Her parents knew it and, although sad because they could not touch her daughter anymore, they accepted and cared for her. Mina tried to live as a normal student, but became a loner to avoid her secret being discovered and suffered a lot.

When she was 20, Mina received a letter: an important American institute for gifted students was very interested in a student exchange with a well-known Spanish university. They had chosen her because of her good marks and "gifts" and asked her to join their school as a student and trainee teacher. Even tough she was afraid of leaving her country, her family and the safety of her home, she decided to go.

When she arrived to New York, she took the bus to Wechester but made a mistake and went down in a wrong stop. Mina wandered for hours, looking for someone who could help her. At nightfall she was really tired and leant on a old wooden sign. She read it:

SALEM COUNTY, WHERE WITCHES WERE BURNT

Mina shuddered. Suddenly, she heard a noise. She screamed and floated up to a tree, but one of the books she carried in her bag fell down to the ground. When she looked down, she saw two figures: a big furry "thing" and a tall man. She listened to them:

- Mmm, Mayfair's Witches. Interesting book, very appropiated for this part of the country. What do you think about this discovering, my mate?

- I think moidemoiselle should go down from dat tree and come wit us to the house. It's gettin' too cold for her, no?

Mina realized that both people were mutants like her: the big man was furry and... blue, and the tall man had got red eyes that shone in the dark. Still afraid, she went down.

- Look who is here -the blue man said-: a stunning floating witch that burns instead of be burnt -he smiled- has come to Salem county. How should we name this astonishing event?

- Well, she's afraid of Salem, no? -she looked to her and smiled, Mina blushed- So... what about Salem itself as a name for dis?

Both laughed. Mina looked to them annoyed, but understood they were there to take her to the institute safely. Salem... afraid -and feared- women, fire, magic powers...

Yeah, it could work. :O

Im new but just wanted to get down some of my hero ideas
X-Men

Janine Roberts/Gluttony: Gluttony is 23 years old and is the duaghter of Phat and a mutant shapeshifter called Bodyform. When she was little she battled with childhood obesity which was due to her fathers bad example in leading a healthy lifestyle. She was morbidly obese until her mutant powers kick in which allow her to change her own and other poeples weight, size, and metobilc speed. She can also create eating disorders such as bulimia, anorexia and compulsive over eating aswell as making people obese, anorexic or just alter their weight. However, Gluttony's powers have side effects when she effects other peoples bodies such as heart attacks, liver dammage, clogged ateries, burst vessels, broken bones and high or low blood pressure. She is often asked to help others shortcut in losing weight but she does not belive she should help them and recommends they diet the proper way. Her template form is that of an obese person but uses her powers to slim herself down for practical purposes in battle. Janine used to change her body for her boy friends, such as increasing her breast size but now believes people should accept her for however she is or what size she is. For porm she went in her template obese form and caused controversy. When asked why she didn't slim herslef down she responded 'Because I shouldn't have to, dollface'. Janine was visioned to become the new Horseman Famine by Destiny but it is yet to happen.

Andrew Thompson/Epath: Andrew is 18 and comes from a messed up life in England. His mother was an alcoholic and his step father beat him and his mother up daily. Andrew used to wish he could make his father happy so he wouldn't hit them anymore and then one day, when Andrew was 14, it happend. He had developed empathic abilities that allowed him to conrotl they way people felt in a combination of pheromones and pyschic based empathic powers. He sued this to control his fathers mood swings and used his powers to inspire his mother out of alcoholism. However, his powers kept growing in strength and soon he could create extreme emotions but also bring out the pyhsicality of emotions such as paralysis (scared stiff), blindness (blind rage), heart attacks, bladder burst and in extreme cases spontaneous human combustion. After accidentaly killing his step dad he fled with America, manipulating poeple when needed to get where he wnated. He joined the X-men after he started to think he was abusing his gift. He took the codename Epath and "won" his place as the leader of the team. Some of his teamates see him as being cold, uncaring and has no empathy but if anyone understands how you're going through it's him, probably because he's doing it to you.

Raven Frost/ The Stepford: Raven is a pyschic mutant of unbelievable strength. She was formed when the Stepford Cuckoos were russerected and merged into a single vessle and is said to hold the secrets to everything. Raven choose the surname Frost to show respect and thanks to Emma. Her abilities include telepathy, telekenisis, psychokenisis, precognition and the ability to heal, one ability for each cuckoo.

That's all I got so far. Any improvements? I'll think of some more heroes and add them later.

Springer has an innate sense of direction and intent, meaning although this may not sound like much, but she has a knack for finding useful items and persons to her benefit and pitch perfect 'spacial awareness' to the point that she can tell her position and place and that of others blindfolded. Her willpower and concentration allows her to accomplish amazing physical and mental feets that border on enhanced human, she can master any skill within hours.

Her name 'Springer' is because of her knack for surviving or escaping or figuring out any problem that comes her way.

Note: Her ability is a combination of limited telepathy and enhanced brain functions.

Looge: Vilhelm Sigurdsson

Powers&Abilities:

Looge has an extremely dense skull and skeletal structure on par with the strongest titanium metal, and superstrength (class: 25 tons)

Note: Looge usually use his head as a battering ram, as a matter of fact his skull is so dense he can break through a 12in. cement wall.


Rocko!: Lars Von Brutal (He changed his name; originaly:Lieber)

Powers&Abilities:

Rocko's mutation is sort of an oddity, by virtue of the fact it was formed by his love of Heavy Metal/Punk (music in general) somehow when his powers first manifested a mental block was formed and his ability is dependent upon the listening of and being amped up buy 'rock&roll'

Rocko has a bio-electric field which makes him a living 'livewire' and grants him hyper reflexes and shocking touch.

Note: Rocko's power limitation is mental and seems irreversible, the pathways of his brain that inact his ability is dormant unless he's (In his own words) Amped! by music.

My X-Team

Blast (Leader)
Powers: Absorbs solar radiation which Blast can release as subtle nudges or powerful concussive blasts from his arms enabling him to simulate supertrength when in h2h combat. He can also release it from his lower body enabling extremely short bursts or 'flight' which he used to reach
higher areas or cover short distances extremely quickly. As a side effect of continuous avsobtion blasts body constantly generates a bio-electric field granting him a slight incease in durability though not enough to enable him to blast himself through solid concrete without injury. A militant leader and cunning strategist he appears very serious and discompassionate dut to the responsibilities that being a leader burden him.

Focus
Powers: Telepathic and empathic, limited telekinesis. Focus continously employs his telepathic abilities to increase the concentration and focus of the team to enable better teamwork. He also uses his abilities to induce confusion into his enemies . His telekinises is extemey limited but it can enable him to open locks with it or move small objects.

Shimmer
Powers: Can shimmer out of this dimension and re-appear up to 100 metres away. Can also transorm into shimmered state, ressembling constant vibrating, enabling her to phase throug solid matter.

Blast (Leader)
Powers: Absorbs solar radiation which Blast can release as subtle nudges or powerful concussive blasts from his arms enabling him to simulate supertrength when in h2h combat. He can also release it from his lower body enabling extremely short bursts or 'flight' which he used to reach
higher areas or cover short distances extremely quickly. As a side effect of continuous avsobtion blasts body constantly generates a bio-electric field granting him a slight incease in durability though not enough to enable him to blast himself through solid concrete without injury. A militant leader and cunning strategist he appears very serious and discompassionate dut to the responsibilities that being a leader burden him.

Focus
Powers: Telepathic and empathic, limited telekinesis. Focus continously employs his telepathic abilities to increase the concentration and focus of the team to enable better teamwork. He also uses his abilities to induce confusion into his enemies . His telekinises is extemey limited but it can enable him to open locks with it or move small objects.

Shimmer
Powers: Can shimmer out of this dimension and re-appear up to 100 metres away. Can also transorm into shimmered state, ressembling constant vibrating, enabling her to phase throug solid matter.

Molly was a normal teenage girl, until the night of her accident. A drunk driver hit her with his car, leaving her completely paralyzed. She was awake and she was aware but she had no control of her body. She was destined to live the rest of her life trapped in a useless husk.
But there was something more inside her. Dormant abilities that awakened in her time of need.
Molly found that though her eyes couldn’t see she could see everything around her. She found that even though her ears were ruptured and useless, she could hear every a pin drop in the next room. She found that although her hand would never move on their own again, she could hold a glass of water to her lips. In fact, she found that, with her mind alone, she could lift herself, her gurney, and the ambulance they transferred her in.
When her body died her mind awakened, and she was suddenly so much more.

Ragdoll’s body hangs limp and useless, but she has great psychic and telekinetic powers.
She wears a porcelain mask to hide her mangled face, and uses a variety of deadly metal objects as weapons.

Big Rig- Was once a normal trucker with a good demeanor, but that all changed on a trip through Nevada. Got too close to radioactive sites that had once been used to test radiation fall outs from Nuclear Weapons. Became fused with his cargo (Pork N Beans and Beer) and his rig. (As well as a Nascar cap and an issue of Auto Trader).

-Able to convert into Rig form, but only for short amounts of time as it drains his energy quickly.
-Converts Beer and/or Pork N Beans into Fumes/Sludge.
-Emits Gaseous Fumes from his behind comparable to fuel exhaust.
-Vomits Poisonous Sludge on Command.

OKAY Don't know if you've guys have read my previous posts about my future X-Team made up of the New X-Men kids. But here my own created X-Men Team. Check out my character Grimm at the bottom who i'm really proud about.

FINESSE (Molli Lombere):
TEAM: Excalibur
POWERS:
Psionic based powers that has altered the brain chemistry and energy patterns of her brain, making it completely immune to any psychic or telepathic reading or attack. She can generate a 'psy needle' of sorts that can shutdown the powers of any individual with psionic based powers for a period of time, the harder she concentrates the longer this effect lasts, her record so far is 48hours.
BIO:
Born and raised in small village outside of Lyon, France until her mutant powers manifested at the age of 11 which resulted in every person within a 5 mile radius suffering from brain anurisomes. She was taken into French Secret Service custody and eventually trained to use her powers and became an agent. After an encounter with the UK based Excalibur team she discovered that the deaths of her fellow villagers had been orchastrated by the government who had already indentified her as being a mutant. She has since left France and joined Excalibur.

Moss (Rhys Van Geten):
Team: X-Men Team 4
POWERS:
Plant based mutation that gives his skin a 'light' green tinge, and produces a layer of plant matter around his upperbody. His mouth and nose has closed up due to the fact he longer needs to eat and breath through lungs, his body chemistry now functions souly on photosynthises. He communicates through a telepathic link when in contact with any part of his plant body. The 'mossy' layer around his body is also able to generate vines that can be used offensively and secrete various plant toxins, and antidotes. Psionic affinity with plant life allowing him get a feeling of an area (is danger nearby, is shelter nearby, who is in the area...etc), but as long as he is in physical contact with it (includes walking on grass).
BIO:
White South African born Rhys lived a spoilt and pampered life in Cape Town and always looked down upon the black community. Upon the manifestation of his mutant powers and his own skin colour change he became a target by both White and Black people. Realising how superficial he was he fled into the jungle to find peace. After travelling through Africa he found his way to Wakanda where he encountered the newly wed Storm and the Black Panther. Putting his past racism aside he became friends with the coupled and aiding them in several conflicts, soon after Storm arranged for an introduction for Rhys with the X-Men and he now acts as a member of a newly formed X-Team.

Silk (Li Cun Kuan):

Powers:
Generates and can manipulate thread thin strands of undistructible fibre (one of their consituting elements is adamantium). She can use them to travel like climbing rope, but also offensively as they are soo strong and thin that they slice through almost anything. Can incapacitate opponents, or protect herself and other by generating a coccon.
BIO:
The daughter of silkworm farmers in Hangzhou, China. CK as she is called by friends hoped for the day that she could move to Shanghai and become a successful fashion designer. Yet her overprotective parents would barely let her out of the farm estate. It wasn't until her mutant powers manifested that she understood (It has been established in the Comics that the Chinese government enforces pregnant woman to undergo X-Gene screening and the children are either aborted or killed at birth). Not wanting to live her life hidden she realised that staying in China was no longer an option. She was eventually illegally smuggled into the US, and when the smugglers (that shared links with Singularity Investigations) tried to sell her into prostitution she ended up helping X-Factor investigations expose them. She has since joined the ranks of X-Factor, but they are unaware that she was one of the trafficed people and that she is illegal immigrant. Except telepathic M, who isn't bothered because CK designed and made her a fabulous dress.

Grimm (Edvard Schruer):
Team: X-Team 4
Powers:
Reality bending powers that can temporarily alter environments up to 1 mile in raidus and generate figures that are under his control. All of these however are limited (so far) to that of fairytales. For example he can alter an environement to appear like neverland, alice's wonderland, oz, etc. He can also generate figures such as the queen of hearts, little mermaid, the wolf from little red riding hood, etc. to do his bidding or fight. It is not entirely clear whether or not these individuals created by his powers are sentient or not, and they seem to display facets of his own personality upon interaction. Also the physics and natural laws of these 'fairytale' worlds are not entirely understood. He often can lose control of his powers when he sleep and dreams.
BIO:
Danish born Edvard grew up in Coppenhagen and loved literature, especially fairtales and mythology. He dreamed of becoming a famous author and attended Empire State University in New York. While reading a book of fairytales one night he fell asleep and his mutant power manifested and his subconcious started to alter his room into a version of Alice's Wonderland. His girlfriend Alice who was asleep next to him woke to find herself in this strange land and was eventually attacked and killed by the Queen of Hearts. When Edvard woke up he found Alice's mutalated body next to him, not understanding what had happened he suddenly came face to face with a version of his Alice, dressed as Alice from Wonderland (really a generated figure from his powers) who explained everything. He subsequently left Empire State University and enrolled into Xavier's (circa Chamber mini-series time) and has since joined the X-Mens newly formed forth team. He still carries alot of guilt about Alice's death, and his power generated 'Alice' still pops up from now and then and seems to represent his guilt and anger with himself.

OKAY Don't know if you've guys have read my previous posts about my future X-Team made up of the New X-Men kids. But here my own created X-Men Team. Check out my character Grimm at the bottom who i'm really proud about.

FINESSE (Molli Lombere):
TEAM: Excalibur
POWERS:
Psionic based powers that has altered the brain chemistry and energy patterns of her brain, making it completely immune to any psychic or telepathic reading or attack. She can generate a 'psy needle' of sorts that can shutdown the powers of any individual with psionic based powers for a period of time, the harder she concentrates the longer this effect lasts, her record so far is 48hours.
BIO:
Born and raised in small village outside of Lyon, France until her mutant powers manifested at the age of 11 which resulted in every person within a 5 mile radius suffering from brain anurisomes. She was taken into French Secret Service custody and eventually trained to use her powers and became an agent. After an encounter with the UK based Excalibur team she discovered that the deaths of her fellow villagers had been orchastrated by the government who had already indentified her as being a mutant. She has since left France and joined Excalibur.

Moss (Rhys Van Geten):
Team: X-Men Team 4
POWERS:
Plant based mutation that gives his skin a 'light' green tinge, and produces a layer of plant matter around his upperbody. His mouth and nose has closed up due to the fact he longer needs to eat and breath through lungs, his body chemistry now functions souly on photosynthises. He communicates through a telepathic link when in contact with any part of his plant body. The 'mossy' layer around his body is also able to generate vines that can be used offensively and secrete various plant toxins, and antidotes. Psionic affinity with plant life allowing him get a feeling of an area (is danger nearby, is shelter nearby, who is in the area...etc), but as long as he is in physical contact with it (includes walking on grass).
BIO:
White South African born Rhys lived a spoilt and pampered life in Cape Town and always looked down upon the black community. Upon the manifestation of his mutant powers and his own skin colour change he became a target by both White and Black people. Realising how superficial he was he fled into the jungle to find peace. After travelling through Africa he found his way to Wakanda where he encountered the newly wed Storm and the Black Panther. Putting his past racism aside he became friends with the coupled and aiding them in several conflicts, soon after Storm arranged for an introduction for Rhys with the X-Men and he now acts as a member of a newly formed X-Team.

Silk (Li Cun Kuan):

Powers:
Generates and can manipulate thread thin strands of undistructible fibre (one of their consituting elements is adamantium). She can use them to travel like climbing rope, but also offensively as they are soo strong and thin that they slice through almost anything. Can incapacitate opponents, or protect herself and other by generating a coccon.
BIO:
The daughter of silkworm farmers in Hangzhou, China. CK as she is called by friends hoped for the day that she could move to Shanghai and become a successful fashion designer. Yet her overprotective parents would barely let her out of the farm estate. It wasn't until her mutant powers manifested that she understood (It has been established in the Comics that the Chinese government enforces pregnant woman to undergo X-Gene screening and the children are either aborted or killed at birth). Not wanting to live her life hidden she realised that staying in China was no longer an option. She was eventually illegally smuggled into the US, and when the smugglers (that shared links with Singularity Investigations) tried to sell her into prostitution she ended up helping X-Factor investigations expose them. She has since joined the ranks of X-Factor, but they are unaware that she was one of the trafficed people and that she is illegal immigrant. Except telepathic M, who isn't bothered because CK designed and made her a fabulous dress.

Grimm (Edvard Schruer):
Team: X-Team 4
Powers:
Reality bending powers that can temporarily alter environments up to 1 mile in raidus and generate figures that are under his control. All of these however are limited (so far) to that of fairytales. For example he can alter an environement to appear like neverland, alice's wonderland, oz, etc. He can also generate figures such as the queen of hearts, little mermaid, the wolf from little red riding hood, etc. to do his bidding or fight. It is not entirely clear whether or not these individuals created by his powers are sentient or not, and they seem to display facets of his own personality upon interaction. Also the physics and natural laws of these 'fairytale' worlds are not entirely understood. He often can lose control of his powers when he sleep and dreams.
BIO:
Danish born Edvard grew up in Coppenhagen and loved literature, especially fairtales and mythology. He dreamed of becoming a famous author and attended Empire State University in New York. While reading a book of fairytales one night he fell asleep and his mutant power manifested and his subconcious started to alter his room into a version of Alice's Wonderland. His girlfriend Alice who was asleep next to him woke to find herself in this strange land and was eventually attacked and killed by the Queen of Hearts. When Edvard woke up he found Alice's mutalated body next to him, not understanding what had happened he suddenly came face to face with a version of his Alice, dressed as Alice from Wonderland (really a generated figure from his powers) who explained everything. He subsequently left Empire State University and enrolled into Xavier's (circa Chamber mini-series time) and has since joined the X-Mens newly formed forth team. He still carries alot of guilt about Alice's death, and his power generated 'Alice' still pops up from now and then and seems to represent his guilt and anger with himself.

i thought a good idea to have in comics would be to have a cult, that believe that the world isnt random, and that events in their lifes are all being orchestrated and written by some kind of creator/writer.
So that, on some level, the characters are actually aware that they are being written in a comic.
Would be very difficult to write but could be very interesting.

Powers: Mutant superhuman strength, and durability, self propelled fligh, as well as the ability to generate force waves through objects and air. For example, when performing a punch or a kick even though it hasn't hit anything, the impact of the attack continues in the same direction through the air until it collides with a target, the longer the 'wave' travels the bigger the impact. Military trained in various hand to hand combat techniques including Taikwando.

Bio: Soong was born and raised in Pusan, South Korea and is the youngest of 4 sons to decorated General Ken Jin Park. His mother died giving birth to him, which has always placed a rift between him and the rest of his family. Like his brothers, Soong entered the Korean military as part of his required military service in hopes of making his family proud. He was an exemplory soilder and earned much praise, but didn't nothing to improve his family relations. During menuevers he manifested his mutant powers and has since been transfered to the AMDF as Koreas foremost superhero. However he is still at odds with his family and nothing he does seems earn him their praise and acceptance.

Powers: Mutant ability to generate and surround herself with two types of energy spheres that have a current maximum radius of 100m. Her white energy sphere spiritually cleanses and heals all physical wounds and illnesses of those within it, also any act of aggression that occurs within this white energy sphere results in them suffering immense pain. Her black energy sphere causes all those in it to succumb to dispair and intense pain, but the longer she generates this black sphere the more she succumbs to her dark side.

Bio: Orphaned at a young age in Kyoto, Japan the young Chaigi was taken in by an elderly Shinto shrine priest. From a young age she displayed the uncanny ability to spiritually purify areas and heal people, resulting in the Priest making Chaigi the shrine's Miko (Temple Girl). One night robbers broke in and attempted to steal the shrine's artifacts. The priest tried to stop the robbers, but ended up being killed after they beat him. Angered, Chiagi for the first time manifested her black energy sphere and killed the robbers. This energy release attracted the attention of the Japanese government and offered Chaigi a place on AMDF to defend the region, which is hopes is a noble enough cause that will save her soul.

Powers: Limited control over mutant teleportation based powers, which is to teleport people and objects within the line of sight. However this movement charges the teleported objects with the displaced kinetic energy that would have been required to physicaly move the object, resulting in it exploding. As a result of this, any living beings teleported will explode upon re-emrgence. He also carries giant Buddhist rossary beads, which he teleports to locations that then explode, like dropping mines.

Bio: Born and raised in Alice Springs, Australia deep in the Australian outback to her Opal Mining father. Kersty never knew her mother and her distant and strict father rused to talk about her. One evening coming home from her night job she was attacked by a man who attempted to rape her, which triggered the manifestation of her mutant sonic cry. From this day she increasingly began to refert to an avian form and sprouted wings. Realising he could no longer hide the truth, Kersty's father brought her deep into the outback to the site of a crashed Shiar space ship, and explained that a group of genetic recessive Shiar (the ones with wings like Deathbird), fled percecution from the Empire and crash landed on earth back in the 60s. They had made the australian outback their home and even made friends with some of the locals, including himself. He ended up falling in love with the lead Shiar and she fell pregnent and laid an egg. However, before the egg could hatch Shiar trouppers from the Empire had tracked down the winged Earth Shiar and forced them back to the Empire. All except Kirsty's mother who fled never to be seen again. When the egg hatched Kerty's father thought it would be best to hide the truth from her to keep her safe. Since discovering this Kirsty has joined AMDF as Australias canidate in hopes that she can find out what became of her mother, and why pictures of an X-Man named Lifegaurd previously based at the Singapore branch of X-Corps has such a strong resemblance to herself.

Bio: Not much is known about the past of the man named Tuan, other then he was a pirate in the south china seas and indonesian seas, and raided merchant vessels. He was eventually apprehended by the Indonesian authorities and offered amniesty if he served as the Indonesian candidate on AMDF. He is socialy distant from his teammates, but seems to have a respect for them and is developing a rapour and protective instinct with Ki, whom appears to remind him of some he may have lost, possibly a daughter, but he won't reveal exactly.

Codename meaning: The Ganges is the holiest of rivers that runs through India, ironically it is also one of the worlds most heavily polluted.
Real name: Shegarti Patel
Nationality: Indian

Powers: Elemental mutation that allows her to turn to her body into a water like state. Ingestion of any of this water by another person allows her to temporarily possess and control their actions until it leave their system either through urination or perspiration.

Bio: Shegarti was a child prodigy, born in Mumbai, India to a poor family. If it had not been for a British missionary who noticed her igenuity with electronics and engineering she may have lived poor for the rest of her life. She eventually one a place a Oxford University in the UK to do Engineering at the age of 16, and embraces western culture. She has a very European manner about her, and feels slightly shamed and embarrassed about her poor origins, and hides this with a pretentious attitude. Upon her return to India from university she worked within the Indian Ministry of Defense in developing new technologys. During a hindu pilgrimage to the river Ganges that she was forced to take by her family her elemental mutant power manifested when she came in contact with the water. She has since been transfered by the Indian government as the Indian candidate to AMDF.

Few ideas I had

Rupture: Son of Avalanche and an unknown mutant. Rupture has similar abilities to his father, and can blast vibrations into the groud causing small scale earthquakes. However, he can also effect organic tissue, unlike his father, and cause ruptures in peoples bodies. These ruptures can range from bruises to broken bones.

G-Force: G Force is a young mutant who has control of gravity in limited areas. He can use his powers to negate or increase the strength of gravity aswell as use it to make him fly and increase his strength.

These portals are ususally only large enough to fit him, though if he concentrates hard enough he can fit one or two other people. He can also teleport to nearby locations he can't see if he's seen them in the last hour or so, and if he can picture the place in his mind. He is extremely adept at using his portals in combat, allowing him to attack in multiple places at once. His secondary ability allows him to intuitavely know the location of any person he's had physical contact with in the last 24 hours. He doesn't psychically locate them or track them with some extra sense, he just knows where they are at any given moment.

Hybrid/Andrea Pratt: Gene-synthesis ability allows her to absorb and store the genetic information of any living organism upon physical contact. She can then realign her genetic template to fuse her own genes with the genetic information she absorbed so that fifty percent of her dna is her own and 50 percent is that of the other organism. This physically mutates her into a hybrid depending on the organism. If she absorbs an animal she takes on the creature's traits such as fur, fangs, claws, scales, feathers, gills, etc. If she absorbs a human she is transformed into an amalgam of the two people, retaining traits from both. If that person happens to have superhuman abilities she takes on those as well but only at half their potency. When absorbing a male organism, her female chromosomes override the incoming male ones, allowing her to maintain her own sex.

Armor/Zacharias Dj'aiut: Skin is composed of an unknown, impenetrable, sectioned material of purple coloration. This being his natural state, he is practically invincible and possesses formidable super-strength. Secondary ability allows him to open up and reform his sectioned body around an individual as a form of bio-morphic armor. While in this state he shares a telepathic link with his wearer and is able to restructure parts of his armor-form as weapons such as blades, clubs, etc.

Ghost/Tommy Wilks: Phasing ability allows him to alter the vibrational frequency of his atomic structure to varying degrees. Depending on the level of vibration he can render himself intangible, invisible, sound-negative, scent-negative, heat-negative, and psionically undetectable. He has mastered the alteration of his atomic structure and can use all the effects at once at which point he borders on non-existence. In his invisible state, Tommy cannot see since the light that would normally be absorbed by his eyes simply passes through him. Similarly in his intangible state, he cannot breathe since the oxygen molecules he would normally inhale pass through his body. As such he wears a special mask in these states which has special optic and respiratory systems.

Migraine/Adam Peters: Psionic absorption ability allows him to gather psionic energy in the brain of another living organism in condensed forms until the victim's mind is so saturated that the energy bursts out. Depending on the strength of the "brain-bomb" it can cause dizziness, pain, unconciousness, seizures, a coma, brain-damage, or death. Upon release of the energy Adam momentarily sees the memories of the victim, the clairty and duration of these memories also depends on the strength of the "brain-bomb."

Flux/Lillian Dellacoix: Constantly generates an invisible energy field around her body that in its natural state has no effect. This energy has an unstable vibrational frequency, so that when it comes in contact with another energy form it draws on that energy and instantly shifts its vibrations to match that energy. This allows Lillian to take any energy she comes in physical contact with, manifest it, and redirect it. She can do this through contact with the energy itself, allowing for the strongest effect or through a generator source of the energy. For instance if she came in contact with an electrical generator she would be able to discharge electrical bolts. If she comes in contact with a superhuman who posseses any type of energy based ability she can manifest that type of energy. This ability also renders her immune to almost all forms of harmful radiation and energy.

i dont have a code name for this mutant.

can conjunct mutant powers together to make a brand new one. he can turn on and off a special vision that can see the field around a mutant like a giant energy bubble. when he is inside of that field he can get that mutants power. when more than one field(the size of the field are quite large expanding about 100 feet from the mutant) interlap with each other then his body conjuncts the two powers into a new one. like um around emma and angel he could gain diamond wings. other things like that but if the powers are way too different to conjunct he could either get no power or just gain one of the powers until he leaves the field of that power.

His parents were physicists working on producing small black holes in the lab and inventing technology to use them for scientific purposes(such as storage,transport,time travel etc.).With their first success,(the ivention of limitless,retrievable data storage) his father began to grow power hungry,seeing as they were sitting on billions of dollars.Unknown to his wife,Louie's father began to design black hole weapons and attracted military attention.A secret meeting was set up between him and the military.During this meeting,he displayed the power of his weapons,but this went horribly wrong and caused a severe "space/time distortion".30 scientists and 9 government officials dissapeared.This caused the goverment to cut the funding of all code:Nexus (black hole) projects.The mother became depressed and the father descended into into insanity.When the goverment officials came to oversee thye closedown of the facility,Louie was helping his mother pack up her research.It was then that his father attacked with his black hole bomb ,ripping open a black hole that began to devour everything in range.Louie was no exception.He and his mother,along with all others present were sucked into the hole.He knew he was being torn apart,but felt no pain,and then realised how odd it was that he was still thinking.He began to feel like he was moving in every direction at once,as if he were becoming one with the hole,and mustered every bit of his strength to stop it.Louie ejected from the hole, unsure of what had happened, but was overjoyed that he was alive.This joy quickly faded as he realised that he was the only one who survived.(or so he thought).Louie espcaped the facility before ayone could arrive,and ended up roaming the streets.He quickly drew the attention of the x-men,his new powers difficult to cotrol.Louie became high priority as he could easily cause a disaster.He was found in an abandonned house by Storm and Prof.X,along with Forge who had a temporary device to keep his powers in check.Daron enrolled at the institue and became friends with Emma Frost,and later on Ammo.

Quirk:The disturbance the X men detected was a small scale space/time distortion.This distortion occured in the abandonned house he was staying in.This distortion caused things that should not be physically possible to happen in the house,and persisted long after Louie was found.This lead many townspeople to dub the house "haunted",and has become somewhat of a mecca for paranormalists.

Well i could go the "his mother is a physicist and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time when one of her experiments went wrong" angle or the "he was caught in the attack of a villian with a black hole bomb." angle.The villian can also have black hole powers and try to recruit him after he sees what he has created.

The 'Fliers' are razor sharp and can rend flesh from a bull in under two minutes. Rodney can hover and fly short distances via the 'swarm' he cannot fly on his on.

Note: When one of the 'Fliers' are destroyed it takes three days until another one regrows within his skin.
