Mutants Cameos for X3?

Basically is a whole mess of threads to read so I might as well start a new one here (if this has been done, I'm sorry). There are supposed to be many cameos in X3 but most are just talk (ie Gambit.) So, who knows which mutan is actually going to be in it?

I heard Dazzler and Scarlet witch were but I doubt it. And also, wouldn't it look kind of bad for these mutants to be reduce to backround (Scarlet witch being the doughter of Mags.)

Just thought I see what other mutants other ppl thought or know are going to be in X3. If you have set pics to prove it, post them.

Ok, I'm bringing this up, because it was the most recent cameo thread I could find that sort of talked about what I saw.

The woman I circled in white looks very much like she could be meant to be playing a former Acolyte to Magneto, a mutant known as Skids.

Yes, the Acolytes were another mutant terrorist group to follow Magneto.

I think that the fat guy with the sock hat on is Phat.I wonder who the tall bald guy is standing next to him? I also think I see a really blurry woman behind Phat who looks a bit like Psylocke. Aslo it looks like Gambit's playing cards are behind Magneto's left shoulder (I know I've said that before). Also the guy behind Juggernaut looks like he could be Thunderbird.

She was actually with the New Mutants at one point. She joined the Acolytes more out of gratitude than anything else, when Magneto helped get rid of a mind control device another group implanted in her brain. She joined them during the whole conflict on Asteroid M.

I know that Phat isn't always fat and his powers are way different from Blob's but as soon as I saw that guy he he reminded me of Phat. I'm glad that you agree that the tall bald guy is King Bedlam!:up:

Not necessarily. Afterall Pyro was dead in the comics when X2 came out. IIRC, Cyclops was also "dead" when X-men came.

I'm just wondering if any of these Brotherhood mutants in this scene are going to be in the movie long enough to identify them.

If they don't show a specific power for each, I think its going to be hard to locate them, especially if they are involved in any kind of battle sequence.

The bald guy? That looks nothing like Thunderbird. If anything the one to Jean's left looks more like thunderbird with his darker skin tone and one could argue that he has his hair tied in a ponytail. Though he doesn't have Tbird's build.

I would choose Thunderbird 3... I kinda liked Neal. And his power was pretty cool, but i think it´s too close to Pyros power so....

Ok so weather or not this intersts you but i worked on set of the new x-men 3 movie which looks amazing by the way. Not only for the actors and actresses chosen for this film but the sure brilliance of ratners vision of this 3rd installement. Anyway i was only hired for two weeks whilst they shot a couple of scenes in the studio. Anyway a few scenes where shot whilst i was there which where made reference to be called the Montage Scenes.. One of which had Cyclops, Beast, Jean, Iceman and Angel walking down a corridor and stopping infront of charles xavier. Its ment to be reference to the first x-men comic with the original x-men apparently. Anyway there are a few more scenes including the reuse of the bathroom set that singer had saved from the cyclops origin that was never taken, looks like the scene was filmed for x-men 3. also there was a set constructed for the alcatraz escape scene where upon i met an actor playing a doctor who works upon alcatraz staff, said his character is doctor essex. he was british and had dark hair looks eccentric but hey the movie is filled with lots of that.

I think the gang fight at the end is going to have so many cameos, no comic fan will be disappointed. Many of these characters aren't worthy of background info, so a brief acknowledgment of their existence will suffice.

Having read the comic from ' 75 - '80, I hope Sunfire and T-Bird (or Warpath) are among Magneto's army and that Banshee pops up in the "parent day" sequence. Of course, an appearance by the Sentinels would be icing on the cake.

Exactly right, man. Plus, Suplee's character Seth Ryan from AMERICAN HISTORY X... dude, that's exactly how mean sprited and dangerous the Blob is. Suplee can play that perfectly.
