Okay, I looked and couldn't believe Rosie didn't have his own thread before Erica Durance got hers, so here it is.

I just found this interview today on People (http://people.aol.com/people/articles/0,19736,1138251,00.html).com:

Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum
Sexy Lexy talks about playing evil, his ideal woman and more

Lex Luthor: heartthrob?

Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Superman's future nemesis on the WB's Smallville, has made the supervillain-to-be so appealing that fans dubbed him "Sexy Lexy." But on the Dec. 8 episode, Lex reaches a major crossroads. "A lot of people I bump into say, 'We don't want you to turn evil!' " Rosenbaum says. "But they know he's been fighting this for a long time." The actor, 33, talked to PEOPLE.com about his latest test of character and got personal – about his eccentric family, the perfect date and more.

It's Smallville's fifth season. Are you looking forward to finally playing an evil Lex?
This has been a whole journey of Lex becoming the ultimate villain in comic-book history: His mother dies, his brother Julian dies and he's got this evil dad. To watch him grow up trying to do the right thing all the time, it's like, "He deserves to kick some ass right now!" There's nothing like telling someone off or having someone killed. On the show, of course.

What else is in store for Lex?
The Lex and Lana relationship is going to really heat up. They're both kind of lonely, dark creatures, and I think there's some attraction there. And obviously the relationship between Clark and Lex is probably going to get worse. It's sad, because I think Lex really likes Clark. He's a nice kid, but he doesn't trust me. Why wouldn’t you trust Lex Luthor?

What's it like maintaining a bald head?
I get a straight razor to my head every day, and I've been doing it for five years. I once figured out I'd shaved my head like 600 times. I'm butt-cheek soft, usually, and thank the Lord almighty, it's still growing.

What's the secret to staying butt-cheek smooth?
Kiehl's cream on the head, and Kiehl's Blue Astringent after shaving. You've gotta sprinkle that on, close the pores, kill the bacteria. You've gotta spring-clean.

Tell me about Welcome to Paradise, the show based on your adolescence that you're writing for FOX.
I was such a little nerd. I was the smallest kid in my entire high school. We moved (from Long Island, N.Y.) to Newburgh, Ind., in 1980, and I had this wacky, crazy family. What's funny is the situations that this (character) is put through.

For example?
My mom once wrote me a check for 85 cents, for lunch. Do you know how embarrassing that is?

So is there a Mrs. Lex Luthor these days?
You know, there's not. It's just not easy, going back and forth between L.A. and Vancouver (where Smallville is filmed"). It'd be nice, I'd like to meet someone. I'm getting the heat from my grandparents. They're like, "Mike, come on, when do we get great-grandkids?" Every time I meet somebody: "She sounds great!" To them, if she's breathing, she sounds great.

What do you look for in a girl?
Someone who can put up with me. I'm not easy. I admit it though. Don't think you're dating Mr. Cool, 'cause I'm anything but Mr. Cool.

How so?
I mean, I've got action figures hanging up in my house. Behind me is an autographed Napoleon Dynamite poster. I have a karaoke machine downstairs, I have a conversion van – I'm a 33-year-old, some people would call it loser, but I have fun.

What's your idea of a perfect date?
The perfect date would probably be going to Disney World and riding Space Mountain and the Aerosmith ride and the Twilight Zone ride until you're about to hurl. Then you'd probably go to Epcot, where you can go to, like, 10 different cities in the world! How many girls can say, "I went to Italy, Spain, Mexico, London – all on one date!"

Forget Lex Luthor.

This man is THE FLASH.

Hes so hilarious.

I think he has the most talent of the entire cast, next to John Glover of course.

True, but I find Rosenbaum a close second. The rest are forgetable but Rosenbaum has a really cool acting range (though hes actually better playing a clown like Wally West).

And I missed Glover all of last season too, they really screwed up his character.

I think it's hard and really subjective to try and rank the actors. In this ep, we saw a lot more of MR and KK, and even Glover, than anyone else. I thought they all did a fine job. I hate to say it, but I thought Tom was kind of stiff in his first scene with Chloe at the Planet. AM is consistently good, IMO.

"One my one day off in Vancouver, on a rainy, foggy day -- no pun intended -- I went and saw 'The Fog.' When Tom was in the shower scene, I called him. I go, 'Tom, I'm halfway through your movie, dude. You look so hot in the shower.' It was hilarious.

Lex Luthor is a very fluid concept. I think it's silly to compare performances. each of the big three actors that played Lex Luthor in recent years each had a different side of Lex, a different concept or idea of who Lex Luthor is depending on the nature of their MEDIUM. Cartoons are generally closer to the comics, TV shows mean plenty of time to develop characters and movies = cranking up the entertainment.

The best comic book Luthor is Clancy's Luthor because he is closest to his comic book counterpart. But that's because Superman and JLU are cartoon shows and you can do a lot of things you can't do with live action.

The most dramatic Lex Luthor is Rosenbaum's Luthor because he got plenty of character developement, but that's because Smallville is a 5 season (going on 6) TV show. OF course you got plenty of time to develop a character.

The most intense Lex Luthor will probably be Spacey's Luthor because he only has 2 hours to shine and he has to appeal to a mass audience. And oh yeah, it's freakin SPACEY! :)

"ppl like me"... nice...

It makes you look stupid because you are comparing two different types of mediums in terms of the portrayal of Lex Luthor. No one with any logic would make such a claim.

And for your information, I enjoy how Michael portrays Lex (even though at times I don't like how they write Lex), and when I see the movie, i'll let you know if I liked Spacey's portrayal as well.

Rosenbaum is my favorite television actor and I like his movies as well. Hopefully, once Smallville is finished we will see Rosenbaum make a smooth transition into films having bigger supporting roles. I know there are alot of actors who have made a transition from television to film- and I personally think Rosenbaum will definitely be one of them. He's just a great actor, especially when he's playing evil Lex.

Things are a little different over at blue tights because it is made up of people that like both SV and SR so you can do that here but post a picture of Welling in the SR suit or a picture of Routh with a member from SV or ask if SV fans will see SR and you have hell to pay and get banned.

BT isn't made up of people who like both SV and SR, they exist obviously, but BT is the same as here, the only thing different are the mods, BlueTights, Singularity, MJZ etc.. they don't care so much, they let people say what the hell they want without any problem, and it's just more peaceful there.. I think, but BT is not that active.

^^^^ I think Pat's saying that it depends on the intent of posting the picture originally. If you're posting a picture of Michael Rosenbaum within the Michael Rosenbaum Thread and he just happens to be standing next to cast members of the movie, then so be it.

However, alot of the time such pictures are posted just to incite a heated debate or at least to get a rise, which is when things have a tendancy to get out of hand, which is why the Mods have enforced a NO POSTING WHATSOEVER rule.

PS...

1. SHH's SV forum IS busier than BT's SV forum. Look at the amount of users on line in those forums at *any* time and compare. That fact doesn't make one better than the other however, just more trafficked, that's all. Besides, most users who post and read here post and read there too, so what does it matter?

2. Rosenbaum has been called "Rosie" on various SV forums for a very long time. Even the SV cast and crew call him that. It's not a slam; it's a term of endearment. And like other annoying I-Net "speak," it's shorter to type. Just deal with it folks, kay?

Same here . But also like him in Teen Titans "Lightspeed" was a funny episode , Rosenbaum went to town with that role. I wished we got to see more Kid flash in teen titans {heck I wished we got another season } .:( Still it was good to see him in the series finale episode "Titans Together" [even thought he had a very small short role in the episode, it was still cool to see him .]

Me too. I don't really like Bart, I would've prefered to have seen Wally West character in smallville episode "Run".

Rosenbaum went to town with as Wally West/The Flash in JL/JLU, he was without question he was hilarious throught out the enitre series. His portrayal of Wally West/The Flash in JL/JLU was 100 % accurate to The comics . He went from The wise cracking, glory hound with HUGE ego and a big mouth to a legendary Superhero.

That wasn't SV's fault. DC Comics demanded Bart be the Flash. They were essentially planning ahead because DC knew Bart would take over the mantle post-Infinite Crisis.

Michael Rosenbaum interviewed by Gamespy:

http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/project-j-sega/730190p1.html

Rumblin' Rosey (PS2)
Actor Michael Rosenbaum discusses his role in Sega's beat-'em-up spectacular, Yakuza.
By Greg Edwards | Sept. 1, 2006

Actor Michael Rosenbaum is not Japanese. Of course, he's not superhumanly fast or a complete joker either. It's called acting, kids, and it's what Rosenbaum does, whether its as The Flash in the Justice League cartoons, as Lex Luthor in Smallville, or as Nishiki in Sega's Yakuza, the American version of the Japanese beat-'em-up Ryu Ga Gotokui. It's a game that not only appeals to his Galaga-loving fingers, but one that has him co-starring with Mark Hamill, Rachael Leigh Cook, Eliza Dushku and Michael Madsen, which is just one reason he was so eager to yak about Yakuza.

http://ps2media.gamespy.com/ps2/image/article/730/730190/yakuza-20060901114506162.jpg

GameSpy: How did you get involved in this game?

Michael Rosenbaum: One of the producers had worked on the game Gladius that I did a voice for a few years ago. We had a good time doing that game, so he called me to be in this one.

GameSpy: What was it about the game that appealed to you?

Rosenbaum: Before I signed on, they showed me the game, which was pretty much done at that point, and just blew me away. It's like a little movie. It's the kind of game I'd want to play. Honestly.

GameSpy: Does that actually matter? Like would you not do a game you wouldn't play?

Rosenbaum: It's not really about that, it's about whether it's an interesting game or an interesting character.

GameSpy: So would you do a game that looked like it was going to be a good game, even if it was a game you'd never want to play?

Rosenbaum: Sure. But it's much better if it's a game you'd actually like to play. Like with Yakuza, I felt like I really had to step up because I knew that I was going to be playing the game, and so would my friends. I also think this is going to be a big game, so I think I put a little more work into it.

GameSpy: Speaking of work, has there ever been any talk of doing a Smallville game?

Rosenbaum: No, but I actually went to the producers when we were doing the first season and suggested it to them. I think it would be a really good game. I don't know why they didn't do it.

GameSpy: A few years ago, when you did a voice for the LucasArts game Gladius, your co-star and love interest in the game was Linda Cardellini from E.R. and the Scooby-Doo movies. But at the time, you two had never met. Did you ever get to meet her?

Rosenbaum: Yeah, we finally met. We saw each other at a Golden Globes party, and we were totally like, "God, it was so good working with you." We just went into this whole thing. She started telling her friends, "Michael is such a giving actor..." Though after about ten minutes of that we told her friends that we'd done a video game together, and had actually never met before.

GameSpy: Did you have a chance to meet any of your Yakuza co-stars?

Rosenbaum: I've actually worked with Mark Hamill. He does a great Paul Lynde impression, so we'd do dueling Paul Lynde impressions. He's a very animated, funny guy. As for Madsen, I saw him in the gym one time when I was working out in Vancouver, but we never met. And I know Eliza Dushku, who plays the girl my character's always been in love with, and actually ran into each other at the studio. She was leaving when I was coming in to do my session.

GameSpy: Don't you think it would be better to do your sessions together?

Rosenbaum: When you're doing a movie or TV show, it helps when the other actors are there for support, when they're giving you something and you can react to it. But with video games, the sessions are four or five hours long, and you have tons of dialog, so you couldn't do them together because it would take you twenty hours by the end. You'd probably end up killing each other.

GameSpy: So if Yakuza is the kind of game you like, what are some of your other favorites?

Rosenbaum: I'm a big hockey fan, so I love hockey games, but I also like older games like Galaga. I actually have a Galaga machine. Though lately I've been really into The Warriors.

http://ps2media.gamespy.com/ps2/image/article/730/730190/yakuza-20060901114505631.jpg

GameSpy: You just shot the movie Kickin' It Old Skool. Did you play any games with your co-stars Jamie Kennedy and Debra Jo Rupp?

Rosenbaum: I didn't know Debra was into video games!

GameSpy: Yeah, she's a big Nintendo 64 fan. She goes on eBay and bids on N64 cartridges.

Rosenbaum: Wow! That's pretty freakin' cool. I had no idea.

GameSpy: Did you also not know that Maria Menounos, who's also in the film, was in the James Bond game From Russia With Love?

Rosenbaum: No, I didn't. Though I don't know how that would've come up. And I actually like the Bond games, though when I play Agent Under Fire and Nightfire with my friends, I always end up getting a bazooka to the back.

GameSpy: So aside from yourself, is there anyone who'll be wildly impressed that you're in Yakuza?

Rosenbaum: Yeah, my friend Christopher McDonald. Not the Christopher McDonald who I just worked with in Kickin' It Old School, the one who was Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore. He's great, but he won't give a ****. But another Chris McDonald who's a good friend of mine. He's a huge gamer. Sometimes I'll be home and I'll hear something in the basement, and it'll be Chris, playing my PlayStation. He's the guy who kicks my ass in Bond. He kicks my ass in Halo. He'll be really impressed, especially since it's a game he's really going to want to play.

^^ You know.. I'm not really sick of Lex. But I think there is a growing frustration because we're all disappointed with the lack of Clark this season. I KNOW he's been in every episode, and aside from Static, I've really been enjoying the episodes in general, but it's still not the level of Clark that people have come to expect and want. It just feels like they've strayed from the mark a bit in their focus this season. BUT.. I'm very optimistic that they will find it again.

People complained for so long about these characters not progressing, and now they are. But I would have preferred to see the progress of Clark getting the bulk of screentime - and the other characters shown as their orbits intersect with his.

There I go.. armchair quarterbacking. LOL.. :)

I'm not sick of Lex either. I'm sick of the Lex/Lana story, mostly because I become increasingly bored each and every time they are on screen together now.

Then having most of an episode devoted to that story just almost ruined a great introduction of the Martian Manhunter.:cmad:

Ooooooooooooooh, I like that! But I don't think Clark would do something that Lexish. If he were to run into her in Metropolis, or at the Talon, or elsewhere, though, and *talk* her into it indirectly, that'd be somewhat more heroic. Point her nose/greed/interest in Lex's direction and hope she picks up on it, rather than asking her outright. Sophisticated, worldly, long legs, short skirts - just Lex's type.

Hey, Mike's going to skate in a celebrity Hockey match:

http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3426555

2007 Hockey Challenge Celebrity game participants announced
02/14/07 - Western Hockey League (WHL) Seattle Thunderbirds

Seattle, February 14, 2007 - The Seattle Thunderbirds, in conjunction with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington and Alaska, are pleased to announce the names of the celebrities playing in the 2007 Hockey Challenge Celebrity All-Star game.

Celebrities scheduled to appear include: Tom Arnold (Pride, True Lies), Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills, 90210; Tombstone), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), Paul Guilfoyle (CSI), Jason Thompson (General Hospital), Cameron Bancroft (24: Day 4, Hockeyville on CBC), Brian Basset (Red and Rover and Adam @ Home cartoonist), Kelly Stephens (2006 U.S. Women's Olympic hockey bronze medalist), Bill Wixey (KCPQ news anchor).

Former T-Birds alumni that will participate include Corey Schwab, Jamie Huscroft, Pat Smith and Al Kinisky. The Hockey Challenge, in its ninth year, will take place on Saturday, March 3 at KeyArena. Over the past eight years the Hockey Challenge has raised over $3 million for the Seattle Ronald McDonald House.

Hockey teams formed by sponsors such as Microsoft, Washington Mutual and Starbucks, along with celebrities appearing in the Celebrity Game on March 3, skate to support the children and families served by RMHC.

A ticket to the Hockey Challenge gives fans access to all Challenge events on March 3. Events include the Celebrity Game and autograph session, all other Challenge games and the T-Birds game that night against the Portland Winter Hawks at 6:05 p.m. The Celebrity Game is scheduled to start after the T-Birds game ends. The Celebrity autograph session will commence at 5 p.m. and last until 5:30 p.m.

All proceeds from the Hockey Challenge directly support operations of the Seattle Ronald McDonald House, which provides a "home-away-from-home" for children and their families during medical treatment, making each day a little easier. In fact, last year the Seattle Ronald McDonald House provided accommodations for 1,200 families.

To purchase tickets to the Hockey Challenge call the Thunderbirds at 206-448-PUCK or go online at www.seattlethunderbirds.com.

Note: Tom Arnold is a really good friend of Rosie's...

yeah he's a big hockey fan, unfortunately he likes the NY Rangers ( I was raised a HUGE NY Islanders fan).

some of you know already but I grew up playing hockey all the way up through college (Division III). I actually was supposed to play goal for my friend's team (He's a NYC cop) in a charity game in 2003 against some celebrities. At the last minute, their normal goalie was able to make to it, so I never got to play. Rosenbaum was one of the celebrities that laced them up. Apparently he took pictures with and signed autographs for EVERYONE, and I'm not kidding when I say "everyone" in the building. My friend told me that Rosenbaum made a ton of fans that day out the cops.
I think I told this story back when it happened, but it always bears repeating. :)

Maybe I'm just in the Valentiney mood, or maybe Michael Rosenbaum was just that darn charismatic in our latest chat, but after talking to him I just can't get this George Michael-meets-Weird Gal Veitchovic song out of my head. It's called "I Want Your Lex."

Trust me, there is good reason to be Smallville-ainy giddy right now, 'cause Michael Rosenbaum (aka Smallville's Lex Luthor) directed an episode that airs tomorrow (Thursday) night on the CW.

In honor of this special event, Michael and I spent some time talking ‘bout divas on set, that big wedding right around the corner, his character's "darkest moment yet" and why Lex's days in Smallville are definitely numbered.

So, Mr. Big Pants Director, tell us, how did you like running the show for the first time?
It was amazing. Honestly, it was the biggest challenge of my life. It was a crash course in filmmaking. I’m not the most decisive person in the world, but it forces you to be that person. The prop people are coming up to you and asking, Do you want this gun or this gun? Wardrobe wants to know if you want this shirt or that shirt, and then you have actors [needing your guidance]. You have to know what you want. You have to know the story. You actually have to read the script this time!

Who was the biggest diva?
People always ask what the hardest part was and I say, "Directing myself because I’m very hard to work with." I like that little joke. No, everybody was great. I told myself that if I fail at this and if I don’t get good performances, I won’t do it again. But I was really happy with the way things turned out, and I honestly think it is a great episode with exciting twists in it.

Give us scoop on the ep.
The story in a nutshell is there is this kid who was blinded by the meteor shower a couple of years ago and he now has the ability to see other people who are meteor freaks or meteor infected. Lex Luthor hires this doctor to kick the kid around and find all the meteor freaks in Smallville, so Lex can do all these tests on them. Eventually, Clark, Chloe and Lana start to unravel what the hell is going on and we find out that one of them is… well, let’s just say somebody is found out. One of our beloved characters is involved in a big twist. I can’t give too much away, but it’s cool, really cool.

Of course, I have to ask you about the Lex and Lana relationship. She’s pregnant now, which is huge, and the wedding is coming up. Should we be happy for them?
I, personally, think Lana found the right man. I think Lex loves her more than anything. He’s getting as honest as he can be. Lots of people think Clark is the right guy, but look at Clark. I mean, Clark lied to her throughout their whole relationship. It was a sham. Why wasn’t he honest with her? He’s supposed to be this great guy, but he’s not such a great guy if he lies. Everyone looks at Lex like he’s the bad guy. Why is Lex so bad? If you ask me, Lex is trying to do the best he can. He is trying to protect her, just like Clark was, and I think if something happens and he loses Lana, there is no telling what Lex is capable of doing. But there is a big wedding scene coming up in a couple of episodes...

Yes, tell us about the wedding!
It was beautiful. A big, beautiful, rather archaic wedding, and I’ll tell you what, there were a lot of fans in the beginning who were saying they didn’t want to see Lex turn evil, but four years later, they are like, "I can’t wait till he gets really bad!" Well, the wedding is the biggest moment of the series for Lex. It’s the darkest moment ever, and that’s the honest to God truth. We shot it yesterday. Let me tell you, it doesn’t get more sacrilegious than it does on wedding day.

There are some weird rumors surrounding Lana's pregnancy. Have you heard them?
There are stories, people are talking, and that‘s cool. I don’t want to say they’re completely wrong, but they’re not all right. There is a big twist coming with that. At least I hope so, otherwise the writers are going to piss me off! They have me going. I’m a viewer, too, so I hope there is a big payoff at the end.

It seems like the show has gotten a second wind in the last year or so, no?
Yes, people say that. There was one year when I thought, This is it, we are going to end the show. And then, all of a sudden, last season just took off and I don’t know what happened, but the story became really interesting and they amped everything up. I think we are getting some of the best ratings ever this year, and it’s amazing.

Do you feel like one more season is a sure thing?
I think next season will definitely happen. I think we are pretty much the favorite on the CW. Well, one of the favorites—I don’t want to piss anyone off.

Alexis Bledel is going to come and kick your ass.
Yeah, people love the Gilmore. But there is so much girl power, sometimes you need some superhero and super violence.

So, are you in it for the long haul?
Next year will be my last year. I had a great run. I loved it, but that will be it for me.

Really? Is that how the whole cast is feeling?
No, I think other people have longer contracts. I’m not going to say who, but I know that next year is the last for me. So, it will be very sad when it happens, but all good things must come to an end.

You’ve done a few films already. Is that what you want to pursue after Smallville?
Yeah, I’d like to have the opportunity to do movies all year, and not just in a span of two months over the summer when I can grow my hair. Every hiatus I have gone off and done a movie, so I can’t wait to have as much time as I need.

You have a movie coming out soon, right?
Yes, it’s called Kickin It Old Skool, and it comes out Apr. 20. It’s hilarious. Jamie Kennedy, Maria Menounos and I are in it. I play this guy, Kip Unger, and I host a dance contest called Get to Steppin‘. My mantra is "I’m just Kip, Kip, Kippin’ it real."

Will you direct another episode?
During the process, I was saying, "No way, I won’t do it again," but as soon as I saw my cut, I wanted to do another one. We’ve already talked about it a little bit, so why not? We’ll see what happens. If the fans like my episode, I will do it! This year, it’s a good year for me. I’ve directed my first episode, I’ve got a big movie coming out, I’m working on getting my first script made. It’s like, all right, I can’t be more excited about all of this, so I’m just gonna keep it going.

Craig just posted a new interview with Rosenbaum, he mostly talks about Kickin' it Old Skool but here's the SV related stuff:

So what made you decide to come to your fans directly to tell them about Kickin' It Old Skool?
I think that my biggest fans are Smallville fans, and thanks to the show, and the fans, I've actually got to be recognized. The fans have been great all these years, and they've been watching the show for six years, and I thought to myself "You know, I want people to go see this movie. It's fun. It's definitely the demographic of the people who watch Smallville," and I think if they're looking for a fun comedy, something that's light with a lot of fun dancing and 80's references and 80's icons, and laugh out loud moments, I think this is definitely the movie. So what I wanted to do is speak directly to the fans.
Hey, I've been playing Lex Luthor, I hope the fans have been enjoying it, they seem like they have, and I'm just asking for them to support me in my next endeavour which is the movies, and I hope that they'll go see Kickin' It Old Skool, and hopefully the movie will do well.

Once your time on Smallville is over, would you like to be doing movies full time?
Yeah. That's what I've always wanted to do. I've always wanted to be a comedian. It's just something I've always desired. As a kid, I used to do impressions. My parents used to go out on a Saturday night and I'd babysit my brother, and they'd come back and I'd recite every moment from Saturday Night Live back in the 80's. The Church Lady, the Hans and Franz, Fernando... I would do impersonations of all of them. I'd re-enact the whole thing, and I always knew as a kid that I had to do something in comedy. It's kind of ironic that I ended up being one of the most complex characters on TV, as Lex Luthor. For me, it's great. It's been a real great career. I've done a little bit of both. Comedy and drama. For the last six years, I've been doing Smallville.
I think next year is probably (see now he doesn't even know for sure :p) my last year [of Smallville]. It's my last year on my contract. I'm ready to move on, and it's going to be a really sad moment when it happens. A lot of people, they look at me and think "Oh he's bald!" I have a full head of hair, and I'm kind of a nerd.

So you have hair in this movie?
Yeah! They let me grow it out for about three and a half weeks. So I have a nice buzz cut. It's cool. I think that the fans of Smallville appreciate the contrast to Lex Luthor, and I think they'll have a lot of fun with this character and the movie, and they'll appreciate that I can do other things. They've been supportive in the past, but this one especially, I think it's a movie that everybody - from 13 to 45 or 50 - could really just get a kick out of. I'm excited about that.
I need every fan that watches Smallville to go out on the weekend, and have a good time, and go see Kickin' It Old Skool!

Rosenbaum without question gave the best preformance last night episode "Prototype" . He's almost close to Lex Luthor of the comics . (I hope to god that next week in the season finale of season 6, He cross the line beyond the point of no return, Where Lex is just pure evil .)

Oh Rosey..

Opening Weekend: $2,484,624 (1,816 theaters, $1,368 average) % of Total Gross: 63.5% Widest Release: 1,816 theaters In Release: 14 days / 2 weeks

Looks like all the promoting he did didn't serve much of a purpose. I really think he should stop doing these comedies.

I wonder if it was made cheaply enough to have still made a profit?

And I wouldn't count him out for future comedies. From all his recent interviews, it sounds like that's exactly where he wants to go post-Smallville. I hope he doesn't walk away from good dramatic roles if they are offered to him, I think he great at EVOL guys.
