My major critisism with Callisto casting is that she's MUCH to attractive. Calliso was leader of the Morlocks, in the 90s animated series she looked more like a man than a woman and I was under the impression that she was supposed to be deformed (hence why she was a morlock).

I'm not sure if the Morlocks will be formed. I don't see a lot of Magneto's army escaping or making it out alive. That said, it would be nice to see a break off group go into hiding, though in this case, it would be for very different reasons than what we know goes for the Morlocks usually.

I think Callisto's meant to be more of a rough, street fighter type unlike Deathstrike so I'm not too worried, imo that kick looks fine, it looks like it has some power behind it.

i think i just figured something out. after reading callisto's profile and doing a search of the morlocks on the official site, i think we will see the morlocks and their underground sewer community. Remember that pic of callisto, arclight and psylocke and callisto is smirking? ok so i think magneto, mystique, pyro (madrox and juggs possibly) go down to the sewers and try to get the morlocks to join them and callisto, the leader, refuses at first hence her smirk but then joins after he says something (you and your people will no longer live in fear if you join me or something.) if you notice in that pic, they appear to be in a underground like area and there is weird people behind him. So i think Mags goes dowsn to the sewers and rounds up the morlocks for his team. I guess they just crossed out that prison break scene and thaught rounding up the morlocks would be more interesting.

I've always thought that the Morlocks were not yet formed during the movie. Magneto gathers mutants from everywhere and gives them the good ol' speech. They go to war. They lose. And then the aftermath, some of Magneto's mutants survived and they go into hiding (the sewers) and form a group called the Morlocks with Callisto being their leader. If it's true, it'll probably be in the ending. Showing a sign of hope.

So, for plot purposes, they've used "them" as inspiration and instead, they've substituted them for an even larger band of mutants, apparently, the "Omega Muties"...Presumably, Psylocke, Quills, Arclight, and quite a few others will be a part of them...
