They may merge this with other Holdiay threads in time but, I wanted to wish you all a happy holiday. Not that I hate the rest of the hype or anything; I just know you guys far more than the others. Figured it would be nice to have a little holiday thread for us to chat in while we post this weekend.
I hope you all have a great holiday weekend and get lots of cool things... not that this time of year is about that. It's about family and traditions. The gifts are just the bonus.
Be sure to let us know if you get any cool Ghost Rider stuff this year. I doubt I'll be but, ya never know...

Just got back from a nice family Crimbo in Wales, so apologies for the lateness. Anyhow, Merry Christmas and Best Wishes to all y'all. I love spending time discussing ole Ghostie with you and I'm looking forward to spending even more next year as we accelerate towards the release of the film.

no problemo...
resolutions? ...nah....never do them myself...since i never could keep at them...lol
FlameHead
12-27-2005, 02:44 PM
Yeah, I hear ya. I quit smoking one year and stayed quit for almost 2 years until picking it up again late last summer. Resolutions suck.
My resolution this year is to spread to the word more about humans destruction of our planet. As corny as that sounds, it's become a very important issue for me... so much so that I've decided to run in the next federal election as a Green Party Candidate (here in Canada of course). I doubt I'll win but the spread of the message is what's important, not winning.
Other than that... I have to get more in shape, which is the harder of the two to do.
BIGGUN

Other than that... I have to get more in shape, which is the harder of the two to do.
i thought getting into shape would be really difficult...but i found its quite easy once you get into a routine. you almost get addicted to working out...and the diet isnt so bad once you find that you eat in moderation but never go cold turkey. that screws most people up. watch your carbs, drink lots of water, work out every other day and youll be fit in no time
i lost about 50 lbs since last march and still losing a pound a week.
its all in the mind...
FlameHead
12-27-2005, 02:56 PM
Indeed it is, like most things. If you have the determination to achieve, then it'll be fine. It's breaking your current routine that's hard.
I am determined though. I mean, if I ever wanna be Danny Ketch in the sequal, I have to get in better shape than I am, hehe. Not to say I'm in horrible shape now. I'm just not a 'hollywood' type as of yet... though I do hate that hollywood never looks at 'real' people.
Mr Nick
12-28-2005, 04:28 AM
Hmm. New Year's resolutions...
To not give up, no matter what crap life throws at me. Besides, I've got to hang on til Feb 2007.
Way to go with the weight loss, Biggun (or is it Minigun now?). 50lbs is very impressive indeedy.
;)
FlameHead
12-28-2005, 03:47 PM
LoL. MiniGun. Funny.
That's a great way to live my friend; never give up. I believe in that as well which is why I'll never give up on my career as an actor, no matter how pour I'll be someday. hehe.
Yes man, hang on till Feb 2007 at the very least...
Mr Nick
12-29-2005, 03:56 AM
Ah, we have similar aspirations, Flame-O! All the best with yours. Good luck with the Green Party thing too.

thanks for the encouragement Mr.Nick...only problem that ive had since losing the weight is the fact that everytime i buy new clothes 3 months later they get too big for me to wear...lol
not to give up is a good one to have...think that is the key to pretty much everything in life. nothing good ever comes easy and you gotta work like a dog to get it sometimes

Strange...
a few minutes ago, I began to read this thread from the beginning without watching the date, when I stumbled onto my last year's post, I was quite surprised that I already wished you a merry X-mas without recalling my own action...that's when I realized a whole year had gone by, but the thread survived and I was reading last year's greetings...okay:
The GR-movie now feels so near ,when a year ago you wouldn't dare to say out loud it will really make it to the screen...all the news we got this year...all the signs of "life" from GR (movie clips & trailer, new ongoing series, ltd. series, essentials etc.)...it just feels good to be a GR-fan, esp. at this time.
So I wish all of you HAPPY HOLIDAYS, have a peaceful and enjoyable time.

Man, those collectibles ARE gorgeous! I'd say Western GR looks just a bit better than the regular GR, but they're both fantastic! Oh, I've been meaning to ask you Mark...how big of a role does Western GR play in the film? Or better yet, how long is he onscreen?

Well Christmas is over and I'm back from my parental units home. It was a really nice time; relaxing, quiet, wonderful. I hope you all had an equally great couple of days.
Now that the holidays are over (well, quickley ending) and my flu/infections have cleared up, I can get back to posting here. We're getting really close to the release date now and it kinda blows me away. It seems like just yesterday we were getting the first look at Ghost Rider in motion and that was a year ago now, around this time. Now, 2007 is nearly here (which is crazy enough. 2007. Wow) and I can almost taste the ashphalt burning.... and I'm excited. Really excited.
So, Happy New Year folks. 2007 is going to be a special year. Bring it on!
