Okay so I took the 'Hush Jason Todd' and modified it here and there:

Here are the changes incase you do not notice:

- Added the Red Hood Mask and darkened it.
- Took the boots from his Red Hood outfit to this one.

I think it looks great...I would have that as his current suit or his suit for Season 5 but I have so many scans from the comics that I editted and cut here and there of Jason doing some badass stuff in the Red Hood suit that it wouldn't match up.

For Ollie, he'll be joining the League. That's mainly where I'm going to have him. The OYL gap won't really do anything for him. Though sometime during next season, I'm probably going to have him run for mayor. To reconcile with the people of Star, as well as taking care of the remaining damages. Which of course, is happening currently in OYL.

Okay, since I'm a GM here, I'm going to make a proposition:

It seems that everyone is casting opinion based on nothing that's been proven as of yet. Some people feel it would be good without knowing if the quality would suffer. Some people feel it would be bad without knowing if the RPG would improve.

So, I say we only do it for a trial basis. Nothing more, nothing less. If people like it, we'll keep it. If they don't, we don't do it anymore, and the RPG goes back to the way it is now.

I'm not saying this out of bias. twy gave me the go ahead, since I'm playing Superman only until LT returns, to keep Nightwing aswell, so it's a non-issue for me now. I'm doing this because I want to be fair to everyone else, because I don't feel right doing it when other people obviously want two characters. :(

But rather than make the rule an official rule, due to my position, I'm offering this to side with the people against it, aswell. I don't want to come off as an ass to anyone... I never have wanted to.

Anyway... What do you guys think? Trial-Basis... Sound plauseable?

I never really understood why we didn't have it in the first place. Marvel gets along just fine with it. Of course, I guess this is different from Marvel... But if this was passed, I'd get to keep Nightwing next season. :D

I've discovered that concentration wavers when people play more than one character in any rpg. Pen and Paper included. With just one character per person, the rpg wouldn't be as "busy" and the arcs would be more cohesive. Plus if one player has some downtime the multiple arcs they are involved in aren't as impacted by their absence.

Just my opinion.

Yep, as much as I would like to play as Catwoman and Batgirl, I don't want that.
No offense to Marvel RPG, I mean I love it and all, but this one has much better stories. I see two characters bringing down the quality. People will have to think of two different stories for their characters and not be able to take breaks without holding people back. We already have enough of that here.

The only reason it's up for vote now is that it was almost unanimous among the GM's, except for one.

Also, a trial run is a good idea.:up: And that's what it'll be. :up:

We'll see how it goes this next season if it's passed.

Okay, since I'm a GM here, I'm going to make a proposition:

It seems that everyone is casting opinion based on nothing that's been proven as of yet. Some people feel it would be good without knowing if the quality would suffer. Some people feel it would be bad without knowing if the RPG would improve.

So, I say we only do it for a trial basis. Nothing more, nothing less. If people like it, we'll keep it. If they don't, we don't do it anymore, and the RPG goes back to the way it is now.

I'm not saying this out of bias. twy gave me the go ahead, since I'm playing Superman only until LT returns, to keep Nightwing aswell, so it's a non-issue for me now. I'm doing this because I want to be fair to everyone else, because I don't feel right doing it when other people obviously want two characters. :(

But rather than make the rule an official rule, due to my position, I'm offering this to side with the people against it, aswell. I don't want to come off as an ass to anyone... I never have wanted to.

Anyway... What do you guys think? Trial-Basis... Sound plauseable?

This is the DC RPG. We are the BIG LEAGUES. This has been the most successful RPG on these boards, and that in part is because of the caliber of role-player we have here. Everyone on the roster at the moment can handle playing two characters with no trouble at all. (And not everyone will play two anyway.)

We allow two characters in every other RPG, except this one. Why? What's the reason? It started in the Marvel game, and spread to the others as they were made. There's no reason to disallow it here. If you don't want to play two characters, then don't.

And if it's a problem, we Gamemasters can impose rules on it to prevent what Frankie's warning against.

My vote is Abstain, for now.

It may seem like the coward's way out, but I just haven't made up my mind yet. Two characters seems good, especially if we're doing it on a trial basis. That fact is swaying my vote. But I'm still keeping in mind what Franklin said and can see this being especially true for new players. If we do it, I'd like to see new players (those we've never seen in an RPG before) be limited to just one character until they prove themselves. What does 'prove themselves' mean? I don't know, I haven't given it much thought, but that can be hashed out later.

SF, They didn't allow it here because at the time the GM's wanted to keep this the 'Classical' RPG in the sense that only one character was allowed per-person, also at the time the worry was about the down fall of arcs and lack of character development in leu of more action and characters playing characters between just themselves.
Also at that time the vast majority of the major league players were against it.

As of the two-characters stuff--I'll say yes, but with condictions, so it doesn't turn things for the worst.

First, I'd say you should post a bit as one character at first, to see if they can keep up with one character, and if they do, they can apply for a second character.

I think that would be a fair way to do it. :)

I'm okay with the nice, steady pace that the season's had so far; things haven't been really rushed, and as a result, there's been more time focused on great character development. However, I won't deny that the season has had its exceptionally slow points that do take you out of the "zone" that a good story should put you in, but we have to remember that our players do have lives outside of the game and some of these delays can't be helped.

Due to the fact that BnK hadn't played him in a year and was playing someone else, Twy made an executive decision and decided I could play Hal. After all "reserving" a character in a game where only one character is allowed seemed a bit unfair. Plus infusing new blood into the RPG seemed like a good idea.

But don't fret. I'm not stingy. If it means that much to him, I'll just cough him up. I put that "memory wipe" in for just such an emergency. I didn't want to screw up any continuity.

Oh yeah. Apprentice, I want Wonder Woman back. I did play her first.

Unfortunately, I'm a Marvel Zombie. Not that I don't read DC but my knowledge of the characters doesn't extend outside of The Justice League, The Green Lantern Corp, and the old Perez Teen Titans.

To clarify this Hal Jordan stuff.

SF, BnK was NOT notified, because it wasn't his character, plan and simple.
I didn't know he had plans, all I knew what that he wanted Hal on the back burner.

In all honestly if someone had wanted Dinah last season I would have given her to that player. And I would have used a different character for this season.

I made a judgement call. Hal was an unused character at the time and the roster says 'first come first serve.'
The policy for holding characters is a bit wishy washy, however the ones we're presently holding characters for the next season aren't playing anyone else this season, and BnK was.

What happens at the depth of page 5? the threads dissolve? Fall apart? Stop patting yourself on the back with that.

Sorry it's fallen to the back of the page, it was an experiment, one that we love doing but we don't have time for. No one has come up to plate to take it over, and sadly, those who have, don't share the same goals as BnK does.

As for the Jordan/Sinestro plans next season, whoever's playing Jordan is fine with me. BnK and I already talked about it, so if he's Jordan, we're cool. If Frankie keeps him, I'll just talk to him about it. That's why I didn't complain against Frankie getting Hal because even with the mind wipe, it didn't effect my plans much.

And now that BnK's looking at Wally, I guess it doesn't matter that much now...
