As much as I like COnner I don't wnt them to bring him back, when they do that it cheapens the character in a small way. If they were to bring back Conner I would want it to be another clone but without Superman and Lex's DNA instead I think it should have Superboy Prime and Alexander Luthoras DNA talk about power house.

I believe letting a character die without realising his full potential is a bigger a waste then letting him die just to bring him back. You saw people reacting around here, they loved the kid. They wanted him to grow up and come into his own, they wanted him to make it as a full grown hero and prove himself. I think Conner deserves that chance, and I hope they bring him back.

I don't think Conner all of a sudden "grew" a soul as of the last few weeks, I think he has always had one. The fact that Raven refers to it as young and new is probably referencing the fact that Conner is, technically, like three or four years old in comic book time. Exactly. Besides, Superboy was originally a clone of both Superman and Lex Luthor but he didn't have the personality of either one of them. Same thing in this case should Robin succeed.

umm no. you know what would be really funny tho, in the panel above where the computer says stabilizer required, it reminded when lex and the doc tried to clone superman(ended up with conner) but each attempt failed and the only wy to stabilize the dna was to formit with human dna. ok sow hat if robin used his own dna as the stabilizer.....the drama.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean someone else couldn't continue his work.

I mean, if Luthor re-clones Superboy, and re-introduces him to the world, there is nothing that the public like more in the dcu than a hero returning to them.

The hero community would be suspicious, but if Conner can exist for however many years with out Batman working out who his human donner was, then I think Lex could hide his involvement in Conner's return.

So basically, Luthor would have a new version of his old sleeper agent... I can see that happening, but not for like two years or so.

Where'd you get this pic? Pencils look awesome (and have you noticed that it looks like two of the guys in the background are wearing masks? could be my imagination though). Any chance of there being more where that came from? I'm having a hard time waiting another few weeks for issue 35.

I have to agree with you guys on the cloning thing. I can't really see Robin being 100% willing to do this. I mean, Batman refused to revive Jason Todd after he was killed, finding it, I guess, immoral and knowing that it wouldn't be the actual J.T. that would be revived, and Tim pretty got his morality as a crime fighter from Batman soo....

Although, in the Spider-Man comics, during the clone saga, the jackal created clones of Spider-Man and imbedded within them the memories of Peter Parker, thus giving them a pretty similiar personality to the original. Although there experiences they had after being created altered their views and personalities, some slightly and some drastically, a few were almost mirror images of the original in both looks and personality.
So maybe D.C. will do something with Connor along those lines...(although how in the world you record and then duplicate someone's memories into another is beyond me).

Awesome first issue of Titans OYL, just really pissed to hear that Bart could possibly be retired. :(

Also, did anyone notice the mentioning of Firestorm in the beggining? Could he join the team sometime? He is around Robin's age and the others after all. And I was glad to see Aquagirl aswell, I hope her current status is with the Titans. There seemed to be some other teens in the past year who were involved with the TT.

To start off, I have to say I am a big Titans fan. I liked all the series and this one right now is just beyond great. Skipping one year later and to see how things changed is awesome. When I heard new Titans would join I really wanted to know who was in mind. When it was confirmed that Ravager and Kid Devil would be on the team I was pleased to see that they wanted to add new characters. I didn't know much about Kid Devil and who he was, so with a little bit of research I was able to find a pic of him in Young Justice and also an issue with him helping the team. I liked his suit and what it served to his name and also learning that he is a side kick to Blue Devil was very interesting. I tried to find more on him but what I had did well. Knowing how it is one year later his new look is even better. Though I thought he'd have his first suit this look fits well. I like the wings added under his arms and the yellow glow in his eyes and mouth make him really like a demon. Though it's stated that he really isn't one it's something I like. The character is cool in his own way and I really can't wait to see more about him, it seems we will in the issues to come. Power wise I think he has something to do with fire. Whether it'd be from his mouth or sometimes on his body maybe he can use fire from his hands? I don't know. Also, the whole idea of skipping one year later is great but I really want to know how he went from the suit he had to the whole demon look. I'm sure it'll be explained! All in all I think he's a great addition to the team and I look forward to seeing how he'll be in the issues to come!

Yeah, that Zatara was a boy. Why waste time creating a new character that no one cares for yet, when you have a great character that is perfect to use (in this case Misty, Zatanna's sidekick in Seven Soldiers)

Plastic Boy would almost have to be Plastic Man's son. He was introduced in an issue of JLA.
From Wikipedia:

I believe DC intentionally made "Plastic Boy" look like Offspring from The Kingdom. Although, Offsprings name is Ernie, and Plastic Man's son in current continuity is named Luke.

I've thought for a long time that, for whatever reason, DC is moving closer and closer the Kingdom Come Universe. From the Kingdom Come Superman in the Public Enemies arc from Superman/Batman, to this Offspring lookalike, not to mention Zatara, where the hell did he come from?

I looked it up, Firestorm is a college student and Blue Beetle is a teenager. Personally I wouldn't want to see them in the Teen Titans. I like the Teen Titans to restrict themselves to sidekicks

No that was the role of Katsumi and I beleive that Green Arrow was one too (I forget, but he opposed the methods of the Justice League Elite), the Flash actually supported what the Justice League Elite was doing.

But, I agree with GL, I don't think he should pull double duty with the Titans. Just put most of those Titans on the JLA. It's time they were in the big leagues anyway.

whos to say something didnt happened to star labs during the whole crisis, mightve been destroyed.

and it didnt take him a year to defrag, he was remembering what had happened when he came back from space. then he starts to reboot his system remembering things that were said o him or saw.(like family members visiting a loved one at the hospital, plus he was probably in some sorta coma.


wondergil could but it would remind her to much of conner and thier last intimate moment, and she probably wanted to be surrounded by her friends instead.(like how teengers dont like going to the mall or whatever and prefer to go with friends)

Star Labs = Plural,... There are supposed to be more than a dozen around the free world,... Firestorm worked at one before they closed,.. Daystrom Labs (I think?) was affliated with them and also worked with cyborg and his tech.
I've already added salt and swallowed the idea that for reasons of their own,.. the Titans have decided to keep cyborg in house.

Wonder girl,.... I don't get how even if she wanted her down time that the remaining titans on her team let her,...

I remember how in Young Justice,.. something bad happen and the team acted like a basket of puppies dumped onto the one with a hurt paw.

This will be harder for me because I finally started liking her just before Young Justice ended and now we have someone who seams more like Raveger used to be. The only good would be to see the rematch between herself and super,... girl.


I guess I'm just a little bummed on Conner not making it. They finally got him right,.. then killed him.

Does anyone think Lagoon Boy should join the Titans? I know has far as powers goes he's pretty useless, but I've always liked his design. I'd like to see him mutate or something and powers of the animals of the ocean (like a specific and permanent Animal Man of the ocean) So he could do the squid's ink and eel's electricity and a few other defnese mechanisms of ocean life.

me:I own almost every dc book you have ever written, i'm a big fan and you're my favorite current writer, but if Wendy and Marven dont go away real soon i'm droping this book. That isnt easy for me to do since i love every issue you have written on Teen Titans (the lifield ones dont count, Simone wrote them!) and it is my favorite book. Wendy and marven better have some power, or join another team or get killed or something but if they are the superfriends counterparts then i'm leaving

Sorry to say they aren't going anywhere. If it makes you feel any better they aren't actually team members - as someone else said they're the equivelant of Ma Hunkel in JSA. Caretakers, normal kids (all but geniuses) with ties to another DCU character that will watch over the day-to-day maintenance of the Tower.

Plus, they have the files on every Titan that was a member during the missing year...which where QUITE a few.

Hush's look wasn't really an original design. There was the negative people, the Unknown soldier, and DKR Harvey Dent that had very similar looks. Probably more that I'm not aware of.

I think it's Elasti-Girl for sure. But remember, there are Titans who've joined the DP during the past year for their own reasons. So there's a chance it could be her, though I hope not. Besides, isn't Elasti-Girl Beast Boy's adoptive mother?
