Heh, Stan's still got it and the artist is pretty good, if he'd draw Peter just a tad younger then he'd be great on Amazing. Of course, I wouldn't mind if Stan came back and took over Amazing as well. :)

I subscribe to www.dailyink.com and read the Amazing Spider-man by Stan Lee, the first thing every morning. It's cute.

Will Spidey get his suit back before disaster befalls the imposter or others? I'll post the next several issues next week. :spidey:

You do have access to archives, but they only go back one year.

I would love to read how MJ found out Peter was Spidey in the newspaper strip... among other things. I hope there is a book of the strips in the works. And if there isn't, there should be.

Oh well, I got lucky and found someone who had saved all the color Sunday strips from that 2003 storyline, maybe I'll find someone who has the dailies someday (or I'll have to go to a public library in a city where the Spidey strip is carried in the newspaper and make copies off microfilm). ;)

Great stuff.
There is a collection of Stan's comic strips in a book called The Best of Spider-Man by Ballantine Books copyright 1986.Most of the strips are in black and white but there is a color feature called The Imposter must die. You may be able to find the book on Amazon or eBay. Keep the strips coming.

I've been told he's writing it, and that's his sig on each issue. You have to admit, it's a pretty simple plot that meanders, with little dialog, so how hard could it be to keep up with? That his brother is still illustrating it is REAL impressive.

It's "comic book" Wednesday, and for the 2nd week in a row I have NO Spider-Man titles to look forward to... not that I'm even enjoying them that much right now anyway, but I WANT to enjoy them. When Spider-Man reading is good, it's VERY good!

Anyway, Stan's newspaper strip is fun, especially taken in several at a time. Interesting how his stories these days all involve Peter/Spider-Man and MJ. JQ wants to kill off MJ and Stan makes their relationship the center of each story... good old Stan. :)

That would be a great way to bring everyone back to their senses in BND. Kaine shows up with baby May and then Peter remembers everything, how powerful would that scene be?
