comparing the two, i think the uniforms look exactly the same. the material and coloring are hard to call because the x2 one is a movie grab and the other is a promo shot. i think the promo shot is new though. i've never seen jimmy's hair like that.

I think it shows a LOT of creativity on Ramis part. The symbiote suit is boring. Its just black.. with a white spider. This suit has a lot more character. And it shows that inside, he's still Spiderman.

i see two pieces. there is a line at the bottom of the "jacket" area (look at jimmy's left hip, since it's more well lit). it can be argued whether it's just a seam or the separation of two pieces, so it's up to interpretation.

Leather doesnt wrinkle easily, and if it does, it doesnt look like that. Also, why would a multi billion dollar company like Fox, who has already taken heat for the running of this film, put out a wrinkled suit. If he has it torn in combat, and then had the pic taken, thats one thing, but to dress Marsden up in a wrinkled leather (gosh, that never happens) suit is idiotic...

If the new set report with a set interview with one of the crew where a question was asked about character deaths and the interviewee said something to the effect of "It happens a lot in the comics, characters dying and getting resurrected" isn't a hint at Cyclops being thought of as dead but coming back later in the movie, i don't know what is.

it wasnt a complete piece of crap review. say what you will about AICN, but that was a true scoop by all means. i know avi arad tried to discredit the review, but obviously it was accurate at the time. key words being "AT THE TIME". the problem with it was that the reviewer admitted not seeing the third act. and that discredits almost every OPINION that was stated.

however, the FACTUAL plot details were accurate for that particular draft and so since that was the only plot info we had for a long time, it's embedded in our brains.

since hearing that the writers have stated that cyke fans wont be disappointed (and the ambiguous molecularizing aspect of the death), i dont believe cyke will bite it. and i never believed it anyways.

I know he's not wearing Cyclops' suit though, I just wish there was a clearer differentiation between the suits, piping wise - Angel now seems to have black piping and Cyclops' blue is again barely visible, in that Empire shot anyway. I suppose they're not officially released Fox shots though.

I never thought that there was anything wrong with Cyke's uniform in that recent photo there (it didn't look ripped or torn at all) and I have a screencap from X2 to prove it!..

Crap...It's not working, but I'll just say that he's wearing that uniform suspiciously the same way as he did near the end of X2..It's just not zipped all the way up I suppose...For those of you with the DVD, just go to the shot right after Jean starts to leave the jet and Xavier says, "Jean?"...You'll catch a good look at Cyke's collar..
