Totally sucky answer. I think the production team were too lazy and cheap to hire more make up artists to create different looking mutants.

I think it's also a good point that Cameron Bright is creepy enough without having him being painted green... it's also a good plot device to have a seemingly normal-looking child be the key to the survival of homo superior :p

He has an absolutely amazing body. It's just a shame facially he's not all that. He could work on his body to get it up to shape. There's not much he can do with his face.

They are not directly comparable but they do hve the small, pointy features and, of course, the blong hair which obviously is similar to both.

I read someone saying it's a shame he's not "facially all that". I reckon it's sexier that he's not 100% pretty in the face and with a killer body aye. It adds more edge, otherwise we'd just end up with a Calvin Klein-looking guy, like Xboy, who looks like a model but ain't as believable as the character, you know? That would be more distracting, I reckon.

Ben Foster is just for this role, I'm so stoked they got the casting right for this brotha aye. And judging from that pic, this has got to be one of the best Superhero physique makeover's I've probably ever seen in a movie.

Chris Evans easily has the better conditioned physique. He's an ectomorph but unlike Ben, he's actually capitalized on it in a way that almost suggests he is a natural mesomorph. Now that's serious training.

No question, but Chris has been in great shape and maintained muscle mass for years. It wasn't hard for him to become Johnny Storm. The transformation Ben underwent was really dramatic, I think that's what CeeJay was saying.

ben has a really chiseled face, a characterstic of angel from the comics and add a little foundation and dye the hair and there you go. im also glad they opted for someone who is not big on mass, ben is lean, which makes sense because angel has to fly.

cyclops also has the chiseled face and they did a good job in casting james for the role back in x1

20th Century Fox has provided a new FX shot of Angel spreading his wings in the laboratory; although reminiscent of an earlier shot, the photos features a cleaner look at his wings and darker blue lighting (the original photo was recently updated with the same blue tone), which highlights the fact that the FX for the film are constantly being improved!

Well his name WAS Curly :) - and I have the DVD naturally - as usual he was fantastic in that. I think Hugh made a crack in one of his interviews that when he went on one of the auditions for X-Men they told him "lose the perm." I think he also said it damaged his hair.

Hugh had a personal trainer traveling with him I think to get him in shape for Wolverine. Before that he had to lose weight for Boy from Oz to do all the dancing, then had to lose more weight to film The Fountain, then had to gain it back again for Wolverine. I'm wondering if he's going to have to lose weight again for his arena tour and then have to gain it back again if he's doing the rumored Spike Lee movie "Save Us Joe Louis" after that (playing Max Schmeling).
