They say whatever you want them to say the ceremonies themselves are really very flexible as they aren't religious like marriage. So you can choose what music you like, whether you will kiss at the end, if rings will be exchanged and how you would like to be addressed etc..lol where are you from? all marriages gay or strait you can choose the music and how you will be addressed...
Thanks guys for filling me in.

Man, the Photography really should have shown more of that detailist work on the screen. On most scenes you don't even get a look at the background mutants. And in that protest in front of the clinic, the mutants are just like humans...

I don't see anything wrong with the space between Logan's legs, it's just the light, it's much clearer in that part. And I don't think that's a manip, even if it looks off, I think that's just the quality. It would be stupid to manip that scene and waste that time and money when they could have taken the picture when they were shooting.

there is no line on the floor and the blue doesn't match?
If you look closely or change the contrast in the picture you can see there is a line, it's just very faint. The blue between his legs does look weird, but since we don't know how the X-Basement set is lit up it could be just some different light acting there. Anyways, I just hope FOX will release all these pics in HQ.

Just joined but I thought this looked like the best place to share some pictures of my Wolverine outfit and jacket. I frickin' LOVE this jacket! It's an Italian leather replica of the one Hugh Jackman wore in X-Men 2 and 3. They basically used the same jacket for both films vs the onepiece suit in the first film.
The pants are from Costumebay ,the glove are motorbahhn.com on Ebay , blades I got off Ebay as a kit and I may refinish them to look polished.
P.S. the hair is ALL my own and it's real! :) Oakley sunglasses help give it the badass look. Finally got some better shoes coming to finish off the look right.

Thanks everyone, David P. gets all the credit for the jacket. He made a small run of these and I was lucky enough to nab one that fit. He's also doing the other Wolverine jacket seen in the 1st film. Two different styles with the zippered sleeves. Really quality work.

I actually got asked "if I rode my bike" when I saw Ghost Rider and wore the Wolverine jacket there. I looked that convincing.:woot:

I always thought it was a stuntman under the costume and mask :D now we know its him.

actually colossus was CG in close up scenes.. but for background shots, where he wasn't in focus, they didn't want to waist money on CG so they gave him a prosthetic costume.

Surely, like Rogue, in fact she had one photo, with the car, remember? well, I we include the poster one, then would be two, so definetly Rogue has more promo pics, and surely a few of them better than already seen pics.

Yeah its a promotional photoshoot, as well as the usual 'character' promos there were a lot of 'photoshoot' style pics for X3 as well (with the car/wreckage, Wolverine and the soldiers, these motion shots, close up headshots). There are countless images from these shoots that havent been released by the studio or of those that have... the majority just dont get printed.

Which doesnt make a whole lot of sense...

It surely doesn't make sense. Now that the movie is over, they could have this little care to the fans and actually release all the pictures. It's not like they'll spoil anything.

Why didn't Famke want to dye her hair? She's beautiful as a red head! Beautiful as a brunette, too, but that's beside the point. If she looks great both ways, why not go with the one that fits the role?

Funny tid-bit about hayley ram... she's a client at my friends agency he works at (i think it's a talent agency, but they get scripts too) anyways, she said brett ratner was the creepiest guy she ever had to work for... kept telling her she had to play jean very "sexually" and he'd always play with her hair... she said it really creeped her out and made her feel uncomfortable

Because Janssen's hair wasn't long enough when principal photography began. The same goes for Hugh Jackman. I would have preferred better wigs for both. I mean, Hugh Jackman had an odd looking brown wig for a character who has always had black hair.

I think the chances are good that Hugh isn't going to have to wear a wig for WOLVERINE since that starts filming not long after he finishes filming AUSTRALIA, and this is what his hair looks like in that film:

I know you can't compare myself with a professional who's been working years and years on movies, but... you need so much patience. That's not easy at all. X-MEN: LAST STAND lead artist/concept designs of background mutant makeups for Spectral Motion Inc.

These were executed in photoshop and had to be done very quickly. About 3 designs per day. Most of these were designed to be "paint-only" makeups although we did end up doing some to be appliances.

None of these makeups or designs made it in the final film as the director did not want to see mutants in the film? Don't ask...

There were already a good amount of freakish looking mutants in the movie and most of them weren't even visible.

There's a Mystique display at the Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy (May 7 - September 1, 2008) exhibition in the The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Has anyone been to it?

Mystique

For the Film The X-Men

Moving away from Mystique's comic book interpretation and her being nude made design both challenging and fun, while offering the opportunity to pioneer a number of new technologies. Like a fabric, the majority of the prosthetic appliances were made flat, rather than from moulds of her body, as is the norm. We custom-designed materials to allow the flat appliance to stretch over the compound curves of her body, move with it, and stay without the use of glue. Intrinsically colored, they needed no topical coloration and were reusable. Only her exposed skin needed to be painted.

—Gordon Smith

Thirty-one pieces of the platinum silicone appliances in varying levels of plasticity were created to cover Rebecca Romijn. It took two artists seventy-eight hours, or two weeks, to create one set of appliances. Over fourteen full sets were assembled for Romjin and her stunt double. The application was accomplished utilizing a crew of five makeup artists. After the silicone pieces were applied, Romijn was moved into a spray booth and airbrushed with specially mixed paints. The look was then completed with the application of makeup to her eyes and lips. In the first two films, Romijn wore contact lenses, but in the third film her eyes were digitally enhanced. The entire application process took six hours.

—Robin Hatcher, Spectral Motion

For the Exhibition "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy"

The mannequin was assembled with car bondo, sprayed with primer, and painted with a blue base color. Her eyes were then hand-painted and finished with a clear coat epoxy. Platinum silicone appliances in varying levels of plasticity were engineered to be self sticking, intrinsically colored and multilayered. Thirty-one pieces were created and applied to the mannequin with Telesis. Next, the hair was laid and punched onto the head. The final detail work was then airbrushed on to blend the silicone pieces with the mannequin.

Sadly, I think they had a lot of money at their disposal, but I also think a lot of that money was used to compensate for the studio’s poor pre-production decisions regarding the film.

ChaoticPsylocke

Studios do not tend to release statements of their production budgets. And marketing is an entirely separate cost that is nothing to do with the production cost.

BoxOfficeMojo puts the X3 budget at $210m, while The Numbers puts it at $150m. Quite a disparity there. It's possible that the difference is the amount spent on Matthew Vaughn's pre-production work.

BoxOfficeMojo also incorrectly states the budget for Superman Returns as $270m when Singer stated it as $204m, as recorded by The Numbers. The $270m probably includes the cost of the previous aborted attempts at a Superman film before Singer was on board.

Well, given the $250m to $300m for Cameron's Avatar, I'm not sure that is true...

A Colossus v Juggernaut fight might have been nice but stuff has always been cut from the X-movies. Angel, Beast and Blob got cut from X1; Archangel, Sentinels and a Nightcrawler vs Toad climactic battle were cut from X2. With so many characters and so many big stars with big paychecks, something has to give....

Whether it was or not, it was definitely planned at some point, as there is pre-production art showcasing such. There was that, Phoenix destroying San Fran [Whole city!] and Iceman ice sliding off the roof of Alcatraz instead of jumping down with Kitty.

While those things would have been great to have in the film as eye candy the time and money required to add those sequences would have been too big. Remember the movie was already costing more than 200 million dollars with a very tight schedule.

IMO X3 would have been better served if it didn't have so many characters and storylines for a less than two hour long movie.:o
