Actually, I prefer the blue costume from around the time of the Reboot (and the arc where Venom was getting his revenge on the Sinister Six for turning on him). For the movie, Raimi should go with a black leather suit like the Ultimate Electro one, but if he took a hint from Brian Singer over in the X-Men films and peppered the suit with some silver/dark blue lightning-patterned piping, it could and *would* look badass. The classic costume makes Electro look like some over-the-top nutjob, which he frankly doesn't need anymore of.

I think the green of Electro's suit should be the same costume as the armour that the Green Goblin wore in SM-1. The yellow could be visible power conduits criss-crossing over the suit, which shows the charge in electrical power by lighting up yellow whenever Topher is powering up or ready to strike. No mask, please. Instead of yellow gloves, have metal and wire covering Tophers forearms which would obviously be used to send out the electrical strikes.

Electro is one of my favourites and it would be great to see him appear in a Spidey movie.

I like the yellow/black design but lose the star on head and you may have suitable Electro for movie.

Not against Venom but if Electro was chosen instead I would not be annoyed.

I'd actually prefer to see Electro or Mysterio before using Venom.

i'd go with the Ultimate look. the Classic look is cool in the comics and can come off as intimadating (check out the New Avengers "Breakout" for a great example) but bright green and yellow on screen would just be goofy. besides, the Green Goblin kind of has dibs on the colour green. look what they did to Ock, stripped him of all his green and he was better for it.

if i were in charge, i'd give him the Ultimate look and maybe for the climax of the film, has he became more and more supercharged, he would begin to look like the MTV version. i think that could look pretty cool, like a big blue Human Torch. :D

It would be great if a few of the skillful artists on these forums would both do upgraded movie costumes for both Electro and Mysterio.

Both are really colourful villains but similar to GG and Doc Ock and even Sandman they deserve to have a revamped outfit not too goofy for a future sequel.

I do like the black/yellow without spiked mask Electro.

I think they should just completely rework Electro. However, I personally highly doubt that Electro will be in #3, and I highly doubt that we will even get a #4. The story is done. Not one of those stories you've listed would make for a good film, IMO.

Kraven's Last Hunt was too stolid and dark and had very little action. And the audience certainly wouldn't buy into the villain committing suicide before being defeated by the hero (One of the weaknesses of the storyline itself).

Similar with the others. Too dark and depressing for mainstream audiences (May's death? THE BABY'S DEATH????). Little opportunity for action setpieces (Think the train fight in Spidey 2).

Movies are only two hours long. Something as convoluted as The Clone Saga could never be condensed in a menaingful way in that time span. sure, you could do a movie with spidey being cloned, but all o the dramatic elements, built upon previous storylines wiould have to be jettisoned.

The looks for a lot of characters are lame, but Electro is one of the worst. I'm more concerned with adhering closely to the source material's spirit and characters rather than their horrible costumes. I say change it to something like Ultimate but with a little more flair.

All in all, if we just continue with the spidey movies, Id love to see Electro.

I really dont see how Green Goblin looks like a power ranger, seeing as they look nothing alike. I understand that it doesnt looks great(though I dont mind it), but really now.

Green Goblin- green metal military suit, with a metal goblin mask
Power Ranger- white designed fabric(rubber, whatever it is), with a helmet.
