power girl is coming out. soon. just wrapping on it. the whole point to catwoman was a throw back to the jim balent years when selina was a cylepto maniac and couldnt help herself. the story as simple as it is, is meant to basically give you a day in the life of catwoman. this is the kind of stuff she goes through- for the most part.

power girl is a comedy that occurs between issues 3 and 4 of JSA classified. even though its satirical, there is a sense of continuity to it.

yer right. but unfortunately i dont have a huntress costume. so i cant really do it. also, power girl and huntress dont really get along in this world. so i figure maybe since she feels so lonely (pre-crisis part 2) perhaps shes prime for someone like catwoman to take advantage of. but if i do get a huntress costume, ill do her instead.

Well, the fact that they don't get along makes for good character developement. Oh, and future reference for bat family costumes: Make them out of leather. Or, at least, have a good deal of leather in them. It just looks better than spandex for the bat folks.

Just watched the Catwoman short. Nice job. I enjoyed it far more than Pitof's $ 100 million effort.

The action was nicely staged. The girl playing Catwoman put in a good performance.

The first minute felt like it was leading up to a porn scene, though, but I can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. :D

I have been hired to make 6 episodes for the website hosting my films, www.vimx.com. they have specifically requested i make more movies involving these two characters as well as other hot skintally clad heroines. my 1st episode will be called: Catwoman (The Diamond Exchange). In it, Catwoman will try and hiest a precious diamond while in mid-transportation from a museum back to Japan. She basically will encounter those assigned to protect the diamond and dispatch them in a sexy ass kicking fashion..

You could do one about Battle Chasers and do a parody on the fact that the storylines are always late by making them procrastinate for their bounty hunts. In the end they get shown up by somebody like Dog Chapman. You could even make it look like the reason for the tardiness is the distraction of Red Monika.

I saw the Powergirl a couple months back and it was OK but, the Catwoman one is new to me and me likes. The girl playing Catwoman, Niki, is pretty good at her stunts, I'm rather impressed, and hot as hell, imo!

Man-o-man did I enjoy Eppie III; I was so hoping for a nipple slip in the bloopers however! :p

All kidding aside I really enjoyed the Catwoman episodes.

Okay. Three's good, but with a few problems:


Deadshot's costume: First off, the eyepeice. I'd suggest that, if you can't get an opaque eyepeice for his left eye, just have an eyehole. It's been drawn that way in the past, and not having it be a lense just makes it too obviously fake. Also, and this is just me here, but I've always prefered Deadshot's shirt to be like a turtleneck with a red kevlar vest over it, not tights. Like this:

Second, the fights: Sorry, but they looked a bit too coriographed. Didn't look like two peoiple actually fighting, just two people preforming a rather complex dance. If you can't afford a proffesional coreographer, I'd suggest just having the actors make up the fight as they go along, with basic guidlines like (he has to end up in this part of the room." Might result in a few injuries, but it'd look better.

dude you have absolutely no idea what goes into making these movies. and honestly, i reccomend you not make such bold statements about my fight scenes. my fight choreographer IS a professional. he is a national martial arts champion for competetive kung fu. i would rather have him choreograph an intense fight over 2 people sloppily slugging it out any day.

as far as the deadshot costume is concerned, eh. its open to interpretation.. i tried to make a mix of the classic, the new one and add a bit of my own splash of creativity to it.

and like i always say, it you dont like it, or if you have a problem with the way i do things in my movies, then by all means, go make your own film.

Well, if I was him I wouldn't have used a smoking bomb. Why escape when you have the opportunity to finish her ? If I was deadshot I wouldn't have use smoking but incapaciting bomb ( like the green goblin ), being sure that I could bring her bound and gagged to the boss.
Bringing her alive may sounds stupid but it's a good way to force her ( even by torture ) to reveal where the diamond is. She's not stupid and won't have hide it in her apartment.

Don't be mad at me, I'm only an amateur writer who has some questions... I'm to much of a perfectionnist

Hey man props to ya. I can respect what your doing here. I do 3-D animation and work in premiere n stuff. But ya, a good artist takes criticism in stride, and learns. People are watching. You should be pleased. You've got a really good sense of cool. Thats what differentiates the good from the bad. Great choices and taste in music! Something you can do a bit more often to punch the action is to edit the the film action hits to the hits and crecendos in the music. That beging said. . .

Chris the movie is nice, but you have a certain tendency to cross the line. And I would suggest looking for someone to help you with lightning and sound.

i think worlds finest had pretty good sound and lighting. did you see the hi res version? internet compression on youtube is a real killer. but trust me, check out the hi res version, you will be pleased.

I did. It's just that the lightning is not consistent, like in the rooftop scene. You have some shots underexposed and others with too much light on the girls' faces.
Do you have the other ones in Hi Res?

sadly no, thats only one in hi res. theres a bit of a backstory behind that roof top scene. and i dont want to sound like i was copping out or anything by saying this, but bottom line, i was rushed by a very rude person who let me shoot up there. but like i said, im not using that as an excuse for bad lighting, but it did play a part. though i was pretty happy with the end result. its a comic book movie and it looks pretty comic booky to me.

did you mean power girl or catwoman? cause both of those suits were my first choices. i love amanda conner and jim balent's versions of the characters and when i set out to make those films i knew immediately that those were the designs i wanted.

Was thinking, however, that you might have had the idea of using the "Diamond-Cleavage-Window" suit(minus head band) or PG's original. The Gold and White one just takes away from the face with that big collar....

actually, pg's original suit is the one im using. the gold suit was just a new idea they gave her in the 80's as was the diamond cleavage with the head band.
