How can you conclude that Routh could kick Bale's ass? Because he is taller than him? lol... great logic there. Not onlt does Routh look like the non-fighting type, he isn't nearly as aggressive or as athletic as Bale. Did anyone actually watch the special features on the BEGINS dvd? Bale learned fighting styles more rapidly than the trainers, who are experts, did... Bale has that aggression behind him. Personally, even though they would never fight...Bale would surely kick Routh's ass. But it is fun to think and talk about, even there is no chance of it EVER happening.

Yeah, Routh is a very tall guy. At least 6'4. Cause I mean, he even looked really tall in the Celebrity Basketball Game, during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Bale perfectly hovers around that 6'1 / 6'2 mark...which is perfect for Wayne and Batman. While Routh is that big, strong, tall, athletic type build that works perfect for Routh. They are both big bodies, but there is a difference in height, which would work great visually. Because, Superman has always been the bigger of the two...naturally so. Reminds me of this picture I saw Tim Sale draw of the appropriate difference in body styles of Batman and Superman.

First of all i do not think seabeas did any of those, they are all Barney's except for the 3rd one on the top from the left which is Iskandarsalim's.

As for copyrights go for digital artwork the minute it is created you own it, period. If you don't believe me look it up. You prove that it is yours with source files. As for selling them i do believe they are illegal anyway because they are violating copyright laws with WB and Superman. Any company that sells superman stuff has to clear it with WB and buy the rights to use it on a product, if he was selling an existing product that was made by a company which was authorizeed to use superman and the insignia than it wouldn't matter but no company makes these magnets. Im damn sure this guy didn't get any type of authorization otherwise it would be smart to put it in the auction and i hope to holy hell he gets burned for it because not only is it wrong that he STOLE OUR artwork but he is about to make a powerful enemy.

yeah, singer never read any x-men comics, and I don't think he'd even heard of them before he was asked to do the film.

At least with Superman, he was a huge fan to begin with, just like MANY average people. there are tons of HUGE Superman fansthat have never read a single comic, of ANY kind.

My GF/Fiance probably loves supes more then me. She is just obsessed with him as a cultural icon and what he stands for, and of course, the Donner film(s), but she has never really read a supes comic untill after she met me, and even then it was by force ;)

This is what the majority of people are like when it comes to Superman. Every one knows him, but very few have really followed the comics.

Where as with X-men, there still wasn't that many average joes who had rea the books, but it was marketed well, was a damn good film, and had become noticed through the cartoon.

I read an interview with harris once where he said he was going to school in NY, but knew Bryan Singer. So when Bryan was in NY one time, he called him to get together--Harris was sick at the time, but Singer picked him up to go to a party, and also picked up Mike Dougherty to go as well. Dougherty and Harris didn't know each other at the time, but were mutual friends with Singer. Singer read harris' Imaginary Heroes script, and also came to a film festival one of his films was playing in (along with Dougherty)--Singer offered the writing gig on X2 to the two of them after that. I think I remember him saying that they could have a crack at it--and if Singer liked it, he'd push to have Fox let them write it.

Then on a vacation to hawaii after X2, they ended up plotting out this film

I don't know, the way you write it out makes me think she's gonna throw the poor guy out on his back side when he hasn't done anything to deserve it.

And this whole Richard-Lois-Supes scenario keeps bringing me back to the Dead Zone comparison (the series mind you) where Johnny smith and Sarah are "destined to be". Johnny get's into a coma, and after time, Sarah heart-wrenchingly moves on. Sarah get's married to another man (Walt Bannerman, whom she met at the hospital), who's a good man (the sheriff), AND has Johnny Smith's child while Johnny's STILL in the coma. Johnny then wakes up after 6 years. After a few years of waiting and no change, one would realistically give up and move on. I really like how they play out that relationship in the series when Johnny wakes up and the aftermath during three seasons.

Cain is The Worst SUPERMAN ever. However as Reporter Clark Kent , he was awesome. He changed Clark from The Mild Mannered Reporter . To The Gutsy, Hard-Boiled Crime Reporter who openly competed with Lois Lane for the Daily Planet's assignments. Instead of letting Lois walk all over him like in The SUPERMAN Movies with Christopher Reeve, Where Clark was The Mild Mannered bumbiling Reporter Clark Kent. [Which Reeve did an outstanding job portraying Reporter Clark Kent . He successfully split the Superman and Clark Kent roles into two completely different characters.] :supes:

His Clark was much superior. But his Superman was below average. Chris Reeve was the best Superman, and Cain portrayed Clark the best :up:
