its hard to be sure from that angle. they usually use angles like those (up above or down below) in the X-Files to try to offset the huge height difference between Mulder and Scully.

this one that he's currently working on-- Cracktown-- he plays a druggie there. i wonder if that would entail him to lose weight or look emancipated. i'm just anticipating if this would impact his build for SR2, since it wasnt a walk in the park what Bale had to go through from The Machinist to Batman Begins (although Bale was an extreme case).

I agree. There was a similiar bit of editing in the film where the Metropolis street and it's buildings become cabinets in Lois' study.

To have the foresight to anticipate this and set up the correct shot is inspired, really inventive and yet doesnt seem to get the credit it deserves.

She didnt look too thin on screen in Returns. Until the day that she does in future films, I'm not going to complain about the choices she makes in her personal life, its her business..... as long as it doesnt affect the image of Lois on screen.

I agree however her youthful looks had an impact on the Lois image but I prefer it this way. We never had a 'pretty' Lois onscreen prior and this makes it easier to imagine her as someone Superman would want.

Realistically again, when the Bos is 30 in real life (around the age of her character) I doubt she'll look much older than she does now, she just has a youthful face; some ppl have that.

I agree its not the WB, or bad marketing... It's that Bryan Singer made a crappy movie, and it wasn't a product that made you want to see it.
The Marketing was fine for SR it's just not that easy to sell something that bad on a mass scale... By the way I had doubts on Ledger as the Joker until I saw that pic.

I've always felt Sony Imageworks was not a good CGI company. It surprises me how well they did the Sandman effects in Spider-Man 3.

Not necessarily. Looks great in the plane scene, perfect if you ask me. But you're right that he used filters and such, but I loved the way they looked. It was the look he intended, and in fact the suit WAS the right colors.

Yep. Reeves body type is close enough to Brandon's. If you want proof; check out Superman IV. Reeve said he didnt work out his chest muscles and whatnot for this film and looked alot thinner and lankier onscreen (compared to how huge he was in Superman III). Hes naturally lanky and skinny; he just worked like a mofo.

I see what you're saying but my understanding is that your natural body type is part of your DNA and cannot be changed - if you are born an ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph etc - you are forever an ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph etc- it's in your DNA - that cant be changed.

You can change your shape unnaturally using weights etc but funamentaly, you will always retain that genetic template for your body.
The point I was trying to make is that Reeve was natually an ectomporph - as is Routh.

Reeve bulked up using weights - I see no reason why Routh cant also (although some of Rouths training pics suggest he has a decent build anyways)

definitely reeves neck makes all the difference. and brandons shoulders were so overly padded. made his chest look pretty small.
