That's easy, just open it in paint and put a black patch over it. Then make sure you save it as a bmp. Then it looses no quality.

Here is an awesome picture from Dark Victory that I absolutely loved. I found it but in two seperate pages like it is in the book but with the help of Photoshop was able to make a plain wallpaper of it.

Man, there are some beautiful pieces of Bat art here, I forgot about this thread. There are alot of nice Tim Sale ones, I used to dislike his artwork, I don't know why. I must say I'm not a big fan of his Superman, it's alright just not as good as his Batman, IMO.

I agree with this.

True artists are those who are unique: Frank Miller, Mike Mignola and Tim Sale. To name a few.

Jim lee's stuff is quite cool and well done but is far from unique. It's pretty generic.

Lee's art is only seen as pretty generic because after he got big people started to mimic his art a whole lot...so many haters of his art forget that...

Less is beter (Alex Toth), that's how u can reconize the greats.
Look at Tim Sale sketches, with on or two lines he tells you what you are looking at. Same goes for Bruce Timm, Darwyn Cooke, Gorlan Parlov, Ty Templeton, Frank Robbins, Steve Rude.

I'm not saying that other artists aren't good, they are brillaint. But the art is sometimes confusing and doesn't really tell a story. (I place Jim Lee, way over Turner and Turner way over Liefeld (!).)

Sometimes I wish they'd release Tim Sales, Mignola's work in good old Black and White. Then you really learn to appreciate their work. You can't print Hush (or A. Kuberts Batman story's) in black and white, because the colouring makes up for a lot of "mistakes". (These mistakes are made on purpose by the artist, because they know the colourist will "hide" them.)

And i appreciate artists who really push their own style like Norm Breyfogle, Jim Aparo, Alan Davis and Neal Adams. ( I place N. Adams last because I really dislike his latest skinny, sketchy artwork...)

Beautiful and perfect. I saw some from Justice at alexrossart.com , one has the Riddler in it, I like how he looks in that, can't wait for the tpb of that.

The two from War on Crime are scans. The first one is from somewhere on these forums. Might have been a picture posted in the picture thread? I don't know...I forget.
