I've been playing it since yesterday. First free mmorpg that I came across that actually looks good and is fun to play.

Yeah looks really good, despite being a RPG (not my exactly my favourite genre).

I've never found a good free MMORPG yet, RF Online was okay for about 3 days before getting tiresome, Second Life was fun to talk to people kinda like a 3d MSN but that's all it was, & I've lost count of the expansion packs for Guild Wars so given up on that hopefully Guild Wars 2 will be good.

Been in a Warhawk phase for a few days now. I had almost forgotten how much fun that games is, or how awesome Warhawk fights can be. It also can be a humbling game lol. Last night I took on 4 (most likely inexperienced as they didn't use chaff or boosters) warhawks at once and felt like a badass, then tonight I get gang raped by 3 clan members everytime I get in the air and start hitting one of them (ended up with 6 straight deaths in the air and no kills lol).

Then just about an hour ago I popped in Oblivion just because I felt like playing something different. I'm GTA 4'd out atm.

No kidding, I really underestimated this game. The graphics on it are great for a PS2 game (tho when I first popped it in my PS3 the emulation must have messed up as everything was motion blurred, quit and restarted it and it worked perfect). The balance in the game is also perfect, normal bad guys CAN kill you, but as you learn the game their less of a threat more thru your own skill. The mini-con power ups work great as well. And then of course there's the kick ass boss fights, none of which are cake. The difficulty is up there, but not annoying.

I'm currently on the Tidal Wave boss fight....to say the dude is huge is an understatement. They really captured the feel of fighting something the size of a sky scrapper. Running and avoiding him as he lumbers after you releasing the military power of a small army is pretty awe inspiring heh.

Guess I might as well add on a downside, the physics. It's funny because they are a + too, this game has better physics than 90% of the other PS2 games. However some fights you're literally getting tossed around like a rag doll with arms and legs flailing. Problem is you can't move or do anything til you come to a stop, meanwhile enemies are pounding down on you with missles and laser fire. The first time I went flying thru the air from a rocket blast, or the first time Cyclonus spun me around and tossed me off that huge pyramid all the way to the ground was neat...but got old quick heh. However it was def a good purchase.
