Finished it. Game is about an 8 of 10. Animations can be stiff and the voice acting can get a little irritating. Something I found boring after doing it a few times is the duels, something reviews haven't mentioned yet.

Gears of War 2 for me as well. Made it about halfway through Act 2. I don't know if my aim's gotten better or what, but I'm playing it on Hardcore just like I did Gears 1, and it seems a lot easier than Gears 1 to me. Maybe I just haven't hit the hard part yet. Acts 4 and 5 were a real b**** in Gears 1, so maybe the difficulty will shoot through the roof in Act 4 in Gears 2 as well.

Nah, I finally beat it last night by running around like a f***ing madman and planting bombs at the entrances to a couple of the staircases when the Maulers and Bloodmounts showed up. I forgot which of the bombs blew up and which was still there at the end, though, so I ran past what I thought was the active bomb but was actually an empty space, since that bomb had already blown, and the last Bloodmount caught up to me right when I was running past the second bomb, which was still there. The explosion put me like one bullet away from dying but luckily there was nothing left to shoot me. :)

So yeah, the last game I played was Gears 2. I was disappointed that I didn't get an encore performance from the Cole Train during the credits.

Ugh, that one part with all the mainframes you had to destroy to get onto the roof, took me forever.

All they really need to do is not force you into combat. Most of the time you could run right past everyone, but for some reason towards the end you had to take everyone out.

Also, there were way too many moments where the action stopped dead in its tracks. All the elevators, and on the boat they added doors with turn wheels which take an unnecessary amount of time to open. What is with those wheels and video games? They pop up a lot and are always a slow burden.

The part that filled me with loathing for the combat system was where you had to hitch a ride on a truck and then fight like 5 guards as soon as you get out. I almost stopped playing the game altogether during that part.

The truck part pissed me off because that truck ride was one of the longer 'stand in a small space and wait a certain amount of time before you can leave' moments in that game.

I beat it and got the 'Don't shoot anyone' achievement. I thought it would be much easier had I shot everyone, so I went back to try the mainframe part with the motivation to blow them all away. It was just as difficult and I stopped trying, haha.

You could punch/kick the computers and blow them up. The only bullet I shot was the sniper rifle into the engine of the convoy.

Arkham Asylum demo on the 360. Pretty much identical to the PS3 demo, although the batarang aim button and detective mode button are reversed. I felt like the textures were a little bit sharper on the 360 too, but not to a really noticeable degree. I'm still getting the PS3 version of the game itself for the Joker maps.
